I'm not familiar with it, but it is listed in the market. Which means Zcash is one of the top 25 altcoins at https://coinmarketcap.com/
If there is a zcash fanatic who hold on it, that's very much possible if the zcash holder had their own traditional business. I just don't
know what country and place they have. Because most of the merchants who accepted crypto as mode of payment, most of the time are Bitcoin, Eth, Xrp, and Bch.

Just IMHO but there is no point for someone to accept such anonymous coins like Zcash while you can use good old BTC that is more transparent. I don't say that no one gonna do it but this way of payment simply will never become popular. Zcash is only good for money laundering, even dark web marketplaces are generaly prefer to use BTC as a main currency instead of all those privacy coins.

Merchant and trading, I don’t see any relationship with them, when you talk about merchants, you talk about retail companies that accepts a payment system which I think what you mean is any merchant that accept zcash as payment for goods and services.

At first, you have to look at the nature of the coin itself, is it a utility token and if it is a token that I created generally for people like bitcoin and ethereum, because I have not heard of zcash before and if nay merchant will accept any cryptocurrency as payment at this moment, it will definitely be bitcoin, but I don’t know of the future of zcash.

I'm not that familiar with Zcash and I don't think merchants would accept it in trading or as a mode of payment. I'm not saying that it doesn't have a potential but it still has a lot to improve and to build just like how Bitcoin built its reputation and transparency.

Until recently, the only merchant I'd seen that accepts Zcash was Private Internet Access, the VPN service.

However, since last week apparently, you can download an app called "Spedn" and load it with BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, ZEC, or GUSD. Then you can spend at loads of retailers from Starbucks to Nordstrom to Whole Foods. I think it may only be available on iOS right now though. I'm not sure how they approach shielded transactions though. I remember Gemini (or maybe it was Coinbase or both, not sure) having some weird rules about shielded transactions. The Spedn app uses Gemini for conversion so you may want to look into the fine print before using it.

Do you mean to say merchants who are accepting Zcash as a mode of payment? Or are you trying to ask if Zcash is tradable? I just got a little confusion on the construction of your question.
Well, I don't know Zcash well so I would prefer to use bitcoin or ethereum to transact with merchants.
