There are many altcoins can generating profit, as long as the market goes bull, you can buying some top altcoins.
Try to search some mineable coins that almost reach their halving period, on the top 100 list of course.
Another thing, maybe you can search for coin that you can stake, so you can generate more coin.

That is the biggest issue that we will be facing on crypto  . No matter how well known the crypto that we are going to invest with but we cant still guarantee or predict rather if what will happens with their price .

 This is why its always recomended that we must do hodling . Not just in a short time but long term hodling so that you can attest or see if how far your chosen coin could go  .

 Im not an altcoin lover but if im going to recomend few then that would be eth , xrp , and bch because im more familiar with these alts  .

If i have that money i would put it all in on litecoin and ethereum since they are both good investment for long term and short term.They are well established and stable compared to all altcoins out there and they been in the market for years

Go for altcoins that quickly respond to bitcoin price increasing e.g bch or bnb but it will be better if you do your own research yourself and not depend on any ones idea

For me own opinion is it good to invest at ETH because when you look the price value chart ETH is the second to the bitcoin whose in the top. But I think it is more practical if we invest directly to bitcoin. Yes it risky but remember that bitcoin is the most progressive coin here in crypto world. And we only need is a great strategy.

There maybe some real worth advice you can find here but most of them will be useless and even they know better coin they might not reveal it to others because of jealousy so find it or better stick with bitcoin,ethereum,litecoin and coins that are more recognized.

For me i only can suggest you to buy and hold eth because of the use case of this altcoin. Many projects and company used this coins thats why it can be sure when bull run comes its will reach again in 1k$ like the previous bull run.

Well, from my experience in the crypto space, once we begin to see a bull run in the price of coins in the market, what happens is that the top 100 coins in coinmarketcap are mostly part of this coins that would experience the bull run, including those coins in the market that don't really have a real live value, though this coins are growing to grow in different parse, if you want to make purchase of altcoin that might grow so high in price, you can try buying tron and eos, I believe so much in them and hope that we see them moon soon.

Ethereum, bitcoin cash and litecoin. These 3 coins are my recommendation, well if bitcoin increase above 8000 usd, other altcoins will increase too but i'm sure these 3 coins will have the highest increase compared with other alts. Me myself also stored eth, bch and litecoin.

My top 3 altcoin are EOS, IOST and BNB just observe the price flow of this three altcoin I believe it have a bright future to give you good return when Bitcoinback to $10k this is trusted and have a good platform in the market but after all this suggestion its up to you if you consider all of this opinion.

There are so many ways to learn aside that you described but the most important thing we should start focusing on is the price movement that tells us everything.
