I don't understand that with Argentina they always look disappointing in crucial matches, many bet that Argentina won but the opposite happened.

Really? All the p2p betting sites and betting markets I saw showed me the complete opposite: most volumes lay with Brazil. Lot of people also took handicap bets, that was how good Brazil were and how shit Argentina can be.

I am very confused people are betting on Argentina. Even though on the other hand, Brazil was very popular in the match. Previously I had said that Argentina would certainly experience defeat, no matter if it was messi or not. Still the same, Argentina cannot compete in this competition.

What's the confusion? Messi playing in your team, Aguero, and you get 5/1 odds? Call me stupid but that was value right there. And if you saw the match, they actually played their best game of the tourney, so you know, bad luck (but yeah, I'm happy Alisson and Firminho made huge contributions!).

Wasn't able watch match live because of time zone difference, now watching replay and I can say that Argentina didn't played bad and they had some dangerous moments when score was 1:0. This failure of Argentina probably means that Messi won't win Ballon D'Or this year.
Today I'm waiting for tough win of Chile, but again, this match is too late for me to watch unfortunately...

I still can't believe that perun won the match even with 3:0, Chile had several attacks but not much organized which left them achieving 0 goals. Perun was lucky in my eyes, first 2 goal was not that much organized, because of the mistake of Chile's defend, they got those.

Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Chile & now Peru have been finalists in the last 20 years. It’s a strange tournament, it’s not always dominated by the teams you’d expect. However I agree with you LFC, it SHOULD be a win for Brazil but Peru will give it everything they have to be champions. They may not make another final for a long time so they will fight like dogs to try & win.

Agreed, i also have a big feeling it won't be an easy one for Brazil. It could go either way. Maybe Brazil's biggest backing is the home tuft.
Also the reason i think the tournament has had various finalist could be because of how short it is. I mean immediately after group stages we get into Quarter finals. An underdog who has been first or second in group stages is just 2 matches away from the finals.

Will, it really be tough one or Colombia Chile will take the 3rd place easily. Argentina is really playing so far less than expected and I don't think they will differ in the 3rd place match, moreover, they are broken now. Mostly Messi because it was probably the last hope for him to have a trophy.

Do you remember Chile has won the last two editions of the Copa America even when everyone would have expected Argentina to lift the trophy on both occasion, Brazil needs to be very cautious, If not, the story of the underdogs might be to continued.

I have placed a bet on Chile, think about how sure I was that they are going to win this game. I also consider of gambling that they are going to win the tournament. Thank God, I didn't. Maybe noq I think that I should bet on Peru to win. It is very unlikely but it would be interesting if that happens right?

I do expect a free scoring match because both team know they have nothing much to lose. I have seen few Argentinian match and if they can keep attacking then they may get few goals. May be over 2.5 will be a good bet for this match.

And about the final between Brazil and Peru, I think this match may decide by penalty shootout or we will see a low scoring match. Peru will definitely plan for a defensive strategy.

I'm now giving a little advantage to Argentina, but my prediction of a draw + penalties is also a possible option, so I'm on 50/50 for now...
