My account was recently hacked changed pass and changed email. So I decide to lock the account and clicked that link on the image

I'm using coins.ph webwallet therefore I don't have any signed message but I can prove out picture that I do own that wallet.

I'm a bitvest campaign participant which you can see on what address I do use since the creation of my account. 32gLx3D27rZqRG7bdNXKaWJF4eTBFyazcW

This is the only proof I can provide.Hope I would get my account back.

It is always advisable to have a staked address. Anyway, I will tag the account based on the information you have provided here. Once resolved then PM me from this account I will remove the tag.

Unusual for a Hero Member that he missed staking an old address for future reference.

I believed on your claim that you are the real owner of the account but unfortunately no matter how clear your explanation is and if I'm not mistaken, admins only honored a signed message from a posted old address as proof and nothing else.

Try your luck though.

Try providing a sign message from an ETH address instead if you able to post any ETH address in the past.

A post, for let's say more than a year ago will do. Much better if older than that.

Hoping it will increase your chances of getting back the account.

just follow the procedure, send request from your original email address (email used at registration)
if you always connected from static ip address or the same subnet, I think signature is not mandatory
however it's all back to cryptios team decision which handles this recovery procedures (cmiiw)

Signatures

Often, you need to prove ownership of the account with a PGP or Bitcoin signature.
it says 'Often' not mandatory requirements

Just my typical habit when i do browse and make use of my PC.Im fully aware on how phishing and malware works so i would definitely say that i wont be easily victimized with that.
This is also a question on my mind on how in the world someone knows my 16 digit alphanumeric password.?

I hope that pictures would be enough to prove your ownership, unfortunately, you can't sign message in coins.ph wallet, that's why I'm not using it in my campaign. In case you are lucky to recover your account, stake your address immediately, you can use electrum wallet to sign message.

Check for your [Suspicious link removed]
If it appears there then create a new e-mail account and link your bitcointalk.org account with this new e-mail id and never use it anywhere else.

That's how I got hacked yesterday.

Lots of ways IMO, if the users have several unsecured ways to save their passwords, eg. browser's auto saved passwords, login in from different kind devices(unsecured one), weak passwords, etc/

There are so many ways a hacker can get your password so you have to do a background check to a certain what when wrong.
It could be through
- Use of same login details on different websites, this includes logging in unsecured websites with the same login details, so they easily get leaked to possible hackers
- Infected browser/malicious web extensions
- Malicious software in your PC

Just make sure you use your original email to message the team, a staked address is desirable but you can still get your account recovered without it if the team find enough evidence such as change of IP logs after hack.
