How can we say that someone is a successful gambler?

I know a lot of people that won huge amount of money, build their houses based on the money they've won in the lottery, have their own businesses with the use of their gambling money, are they successful? I don't think so. Despite the fact they built something out of their winnings, I asked some of them and told me they lose a lot and thar money they used is not the money they won but the money they lost, they just got it back.

Every gambler likes to talk about the how much money he made last year but I never met with a single gambler who likes to talk about how much he sacrificed for being as a profitable gambler during these years. Coincidence? Well, I don't think so.

I'm thinking what is the basis that a gambler is successful? Won a huge amount in casinos or lottery or any gambling?

I think I can consider my relatives a successful gambler. They won last month in a lottery. One bet 10$ and he won $50,000 on the lottery and the other one bet the same amount but he won twice as much as the first.

I'm not expecting this to happen to me because I'm always a failure in gambling.

Not yet, for now I dont met any of successful gambles. there is some but I just see it on news or on google that won on gambling or lotery of big amount but I always wonder if how they do it to be a successful gamblers because I know its hard to be like one of them.

So i was just wondering, aside the times i see the names of rich and successful gamblers during my google search, i dont think i have personally met anyone who made it big in gambling. Its possible there are  but i know more of those who have lost more than those who have made it.
Please note that by been successful, i  do not mean those who make this little and minor winnings on a daily bases(NO). I mean those with Big records, like who have won over 1BTC from gambling. If you know any either in an online or offline casino please dont hesitate to share their story, you can include the name of the site they made their wins, i am sure someone would be encouraged. I also not meet any successful gambler, but i have met an addicted and loser gambler, who have been lose everything in gambling. I searched in google and i see mostly successful gambler, who won a lot of bitcoins or money while playing gambling, but i am not one of them.

That is a big Irony, really big one. It's interesting how things worked out for them at the end, but this is a really important reason why it's so important to put limits into the time and money that you are going to spend daily/weekly so you avoid problems and if you end up being a success story that is pretty amazing.

I personally never met any successful person that i remember of yet in my life.

Yeah I experience to met the person got successfully win at lottery my neighbor he is quit man but they can't avoid to brodcast came from news heget win huge of money from the lottery, until now he is very rich and he use their money wisely investing into business.

To meet directly I never have, because in my place gambling is still illegal, for online gambling I only see history in their profile, but
 never see who is behind the account personally because of anonymity. I often see big win in Primedice, 777coin, or crypto-games, they use very large capital to gamble, they are very brave people I know

But sometimes how you identify success matters here. Is it about money or emotional impact to that person? If we gauge success in terms of money, only few individuals attained such success on this part but emotional well-being, might have bigger number.

I agree with you to some extent but I will like to asked you this question : what are "other benefits we do get while gambling"? I have not see any other benefits outside fun that many of us claim here. I have see every gamblers strive to get profits. I am into gambling to become successful and not losing. I want to make profit from gambling and at the end share with us how it is possible to make money through gambling.

Gambling should really be counted on this way on where you do treat yourself as successful if you do able to meet or gain up such entertainment with it not just
minding on how to make money because success would only count for few gamblers only.We know that lots of lossers on this industry and even worst it do mess out their
lives because of it.

That is the real successful, I know a lot of gamblers who are successful or not successful. Most of them are offline gamblers, why I can tell that they are successful? Because they are generous and you can see their daily lives how peacefully and they are happy. What I see on 'successful gambler' is on how you will use your profits or gains and not being greedy so your pocket will grow healthy.

For myself, I have not seen a gambler who is successful. By successful, I mean relying on it totally and taking care of the family, building house and living a very comfortable life like a business man, no.

Same with me, and I never trust to an article that stated he is a successfull gambler or everything about him againt gambling before I meet him first. Seems like just a few people who had a successfull being a gambler and he made a lot of wealth from he wons gambling. Most of them just stuck, I mean when he has won then a few day ahead when he plays again will loss. However, for the lottery thing then I'll trust for this news because I had met someone who got a lottery for $100.000 twice. And he uses it to buy land, home and make a bussiness as he wonted.

I have not yet ever met a "Successful" Gambler in my whole like all was I met was a "broke" gambler. Since I don't believe in gambling that much because I have once a family of gblers I never seen them successful but I seen them winning sometimes. I can't called their winning as their success since when they go again in the next day to play they will lose it again. Success is not just one day or one week but success is lifetime.

It doesn't matter for them if you don't find their win as success or not but it matters to them on how they address that as success.

Success means that you have aimed your goal like winning and it's up to you if you will determine it as life time or short time.

In my opinion, meeting a famous gambler is a good thing because it gives you more knowledge about how to perform out of the casino or in real life. Habits matters a lot and it is a fact that having a good routine of habits could be instrumental in keeping you mentally and physically fit thereby improving your chances to win at poker. So yeah, it is good to have a selfie with a famous gambler and learn from him in the short 2 minutes.

That will be difficult to meet successful gambler because that person will be in many places and we don't know who they are. But I believe that there is a successful gambler who can win the big prizes in the gambling and they are enjoying the money right now because they are getting a lot of money from gambling. But I don't think that they will shows themselves in the public because that will too risky for them to reveal who are they.

In real life, it must be hard to meet successful gamblers. Moreover, it is crypto gamblers, only a few people know about playing gambling with crypto. I doubt if we can meet one of them easily. Anyway, I think it is not a big problem even if we don't see them. The point is how to know their tips or effective strategies in gambling.

They chooses also to be unknown, there's also possible threat if they will revealed their identity, real gamblers are very discreet maybe some
can be showy but not all of them, if you will have the chance to know someone there's nothing that will change it, it's still not you to own decent
profits but still them to enjoy..
