Seeing the current trend after the presence of the IEO, many projects based ICO are very difficult to achieve softcaps, of course this is a sign that the ICO is coming to an end, maybe the future trend of a project must have strong capital so that when the ICO fails, they can continue the project with their own money.

By looking at current developments and seeing that ICO is still good. Of course ICO will not be removed just like that, while there are still many ICO projects that are super extraordinary. So it is not possible to remove ICO in the near future.

this is just a sales system and a project development fundraising process. it's up to the project to use the system as it is in an effort to get support from investors. all I think is up to the developer because they certainly know the best way to convince investors.

To be honest, I don't know precisely about STO and IEO will be changing for the ICO method. but I think this is a new way or strategic from the project to make a greater in marketing business. And also I think ICO does not out anyway, but ICO will be the one of way or can be alternative way.

ICO is having a bad reputation for most of the investors due to a lot of scamming from fake projects, while the the IEO is getting in trend for the safer investments because exchanges do a critical review about projects before listing thus every investors are moving from the old way ico to ieo, so I believe that there is a fair possibility that ICO might be gone in the future

ICO will only be phased out if there is no one trusting it. As of now, there are still people investing in ICO so I guess it will continue and hopefully improve their security.

I have been playing into some few ICO projects lately, and the reality is that I lost a lot of money due to the domination of the bear market and uncertainty of the projects going forward.

As the old saying goes, more than 90% of those projects are either scams, failed to reach soft cap, or not getting any traction in the next few months or so.

Maybe it’s because ICOs are not regulated and investors like me holds all of the risks.

Until now, there are still new ICOs emerging. However, there are also new ones such as STOs (security token offerings), IEOs (initial exchange offerings), and so on. It seems that both STOs and IEOs are already being considered the next big thing in raising crypto funds for starters.

With their ongoing emergence, are ICOs gonna be over soon? Are they gonna saturate and may phase out due to projects turning to STOs and IEOs?

I wanna know about your thoughts regarding this one, and I would greatly appreciate it whether if you agree or not with my opinion. Thank you in advance.
ICOs are just a big jole to be honost, they only saw some popularity back in late 2017 when people were all bout the cryptocurrency and bitcoin was way up high they could not invest in it, and after a couple of successful ICOs  the market started being flooded with them and it became harder to tell the good ones from the ones that are scams, so they started going down in terms of interest, and people lost hope in these project and i am sure that its a matter of time before ICO just be forgotten and another trend will take its place.

I want to delete it, I don't think because the ICO itself is currently being developed even though it is proven that it no longer provides profits. many people have left ico but now there is a lot of development from testing with the ICO model

For those people who has got a lot of profit from an ICO I believe it is not an easy way to leave this way. Moreover for some bounty hunters who have got profit also from ICO, he will stay to promote the project which may he knows that the project will have potential in the future. I was thought that the another factors which makes ICO has no popular again is the market cryptocurrency itself. When the price cryptocurrency continue to down the investor will think to save their money only has one way i.e selling the coin because they know the price will decrease. But, I'm sure when the market cryptocurrency come back to increase again then the investor has many hopes to wait the project that they chooses will be used by many people and make its price up drastically.

I think it's a no because the IEO now is getting same results as ICO so the ICO will still remains in order, because new projects now are using ico than ieo so the ico is still the best for fundraising.I saw some IEO now that is not getting investors and investments because investors are looking for the results of ieo before they invest in.

I am not sure about that. Although ICO is indeed very vulnerable to scams and currently there is a heavy interest, namely the IEO, it does not mean that the ICO will soon be phased out.
At present, many projects are still using the ICO system and going well (although we have to be more careful and selective). And there are some ICO projects that are indeed successful and promising.
However, if indeed the IEO trend is bigger and bigger again, it is possible that the ICO will begin to be displaced and then abandoned.

It is true that the IEO is getting more and more used, for example, the number of projects that previously sold ico is now shifting to the IEO because the trend is rising, so I think the IEO can still be profitable now.

Of course this certainly won't last long enough, surely there will be a moment where the market will be quite sluggish for this IEO, exactly when the ICO system exists.
The current IEO is also quite dependent on the reputation of the market / exchange itself. The liquidity market and the system used were the main keys that made several projects that held the IEO very successful.

Yes, they have now actually stopped working due to the fact that very little has become a bounty who is willing to spend time and advertise,as does not generate income, and investors who have ceased to believe in the ISO market, which just fell to the bottom, well, hardly any more rise,as it turned out a lot of bench

Its likely going to happen. ICOs are getting funded anymore no matter how good the project concept may be. But there are some projects that were not asking for funds specially the ones in the TRON platform and EOS platform which is quite interesting. Most of them though are in gambling which makes sense also. If ICO aren't working anymore, those scammers will soon have to find a way to have better skills in making connections with EOS and TRON network. IEO doesn't seem to be working too.

It is not just saying but it is the truth.
Even if they are reaching their soft cap these ICO's tend to fail their roadmap. I dont really know if it is lack of funds or they are being attracted into the millions of dollars in their account.

With their ongoing emergence, are ICOs gonna be over soon? Are they gonna saturate and may phase out due to projects turning to STOs and IEOs?

ICO's are dead. It will be a lucky thing if you got one that could really make it through.
Still you need to be careful with this new kind of options that they are offering. STO or IEO or anything that ends with an "O".
Some will look for a hole just to get away with the money.

ICO is not going anywhere. This is the freest way of crowdfunding. Scammers will continue to harvest in such a way until people become crypto-literate.

IEO and STO are half measures that do not cure from fraudsters who

In order for ICO's to phase out we need to first have not successful ICO stage, right now even though there are less and less people that are investing into ICO's we are still at a place where they are still getting funded, not all of them, not as much as it used to be but still funded. That means ICO's will always be there, there will be coins that gets the green light for a IEO so they go with that, there will be ones that register and do STO but there will always be regular coins and even just business ideas that basically uses ICO as startup funding and they will continue to keep it alive. Will it ever phase out in the future? I don't know, if there is an alternative to it yes but for now STO and IEO is not an option for some of the creators which is why they still use ICO.

most now many investors follow the IEO direction. but that also cannot say ico will die. There are many very good projects and great potential they like to develop traditionally ico. So we have a lot of investment reviews and decisions

ICO will not be deleted at this time. Because I invested in the ICO lately because I saw it was very good to get the advantage of investing in the ICO. So it won't be deleted now. And maybe in the future it won't be deleted either.

You do not need to hold an IEO or STO if you are doing outstanding marketing, there were enough examples, even in 2018 where there were no IEOs, some projects did well and even collected their hardcap on the falling market.

It is seen from the situation that it is possible that this could happen and perhaps later it will be replaced by an IEO which is now more trusted by investors.
