Are ICOs gonna phase out very soon?

icos are gradually phasing out, being replaced by IEO and STO.  Its not actually a bad thing because all drive towards crowdfunding (token sale) of the coin or token. We all have seen the massive success of IEOs held on reputable exchanges like Binance, OKEX, KUCOIN selling out really fast. I understand some projects still carry out ICO, and I'm not saying all ain't doing well , but for a fact ICOs are facing out.

you are right, actually everything is the same. nothing different is just sales through exchanges by the IEO. and we can judge now that a good project will be in good exchange. with this very simple assessment there will be every head of investor.

Of course there will be no ICO scam because now ICO moves to become an IEO, but what about the IEO SCAM ?
At present there are many small exchanges that hold IEOs, and I think there are still many potential SCAM here, so even though we have to be careful in following an IEO project

Indeed, i think ICOs still running in near future and many are good project. The trend right now is IEOs and investor prefer choosing IEOs from big exchangers because its profitable for short term.

I agree on the both you guys that ico will still be alive and kicking despite the fact that ico is currently recieving alot of negative news and bashes from the public just because they already see a new alternative replacement which was ieo's  .

 ieo's are new and when the time comes i think other new release ieo will not be good as the earlier ieo's ( same thing happend when ico before were also new )  , so my message for the ico haters out there is that dont be confident with your ieo's , you never know maybe ieo's are going to phase out more earlier compare to ico

I agree, but for some IEO cases, I think people will still believe the IEO that is held by big exchangers such as binance, huobi, or Kucoin.
The rise of the IEO is followed by small exchanger and investors have not been too confident in the reputation of the exchanger. I think we will enter a phase where investors trust the IEO held by big exchanger

I agree with your opinion. It is clear to everyone that the ICO can no longer exist in the form in which it was. Naturally, the ICO will undergo transformations. After a clear regulation in this area, ICOs will become more reliable and popular.

Slowly ICO are diminishing because more exchanges now are adopting to IEO.

These exchanges if they want to effectively sell in IEO, they also need to ensure that they will improve their exchange so they will have a great reputation and investors will trust them, it's a good development that in the long run we will only see more legit coins compared to shit coins like the opposite during the popularity of ICO.

I think if everyone is disappointed in the ICO. If ICO was trusted then STO and IEO would not appear. Although I think that STO and IEO only save from the crook. And they do not at all ensure that the project will be successful.

I don't see a development phase if the regulation completely brings limited freedom to the ICOs. The survival of the projects have a long history but only some of these projects will agree to make a new IEO after the regulation. Learning through their mistakes is the big advantage for the recent projects but they have a special case: The recent rise of the IEO if they can make an agreement with the reputable exchanges.

There is no particular crypto project that can ensure the risk of fraud on the ICO but I am sure there will be a new project which can attempt to solve this problem in the IEOs. Insurance projects habitually fail in the token sales but this idea can be unique if the right team decide to run this idea as a project. Through the failed projects, teams also become experienced and they will not do the same errors on the next projects.

This year only 3 to 5 ICO projects were successful and this is really a sign that investors are no longer interested in this investment because ICO are very risky. I think investing in IEO would be a lot better for your profits because you will be guaranteed that coin is listed at that exchange and you can sell at any time. In fact, everyone wants to make a profit in a short time and does not have to spend too much time waiting so IEO is a safe solution for everyone in this market.

ICOs are already dead, imho. You you are a serious project and have nothing to hide, why would you choose an ICO instead of IEO?

IEO offers much more transparency and it's a more efficient way to raise money for new projects.

This year could be their last year of ICO, as ICO continues to bleed scammers will eventually leave this platform as they will not be getting any money from this soon. People have turn into IEO and although we can't guarantee that there's no scam in IEO but at least a significant drop would mean a big improvement of the crowd sale platform and we could attract more investors due to that.

With the big number of exchanges in the market now, if they will both offer an IEO, we could surpass the number of ICO generated in the past, but these coins generated in IEO are alt least valuable or legit coins, unlike ICO where most are not.
