Don't waste your time and money on altcoins. Buy bitcoin instead!
If you really see no other way than buying altcoins get something that has a chance to explode soon like LTC after halving. It's still more risky than Bitcoin because many people follow this LTC halving hype and can crash the market trying to take profits early. At the same time holding BTC allows you to claim free coins like MWC so you will profit from holding with much less risk.

Since you are confused, it is better you select the coins that are already popular and a lot of people are investing in it. Currently, BNB as well as TTC are doing very well. If you are convinced with the performance, you can go ahead and invest in it.
I thought TTC was just a typo error and you mean BTC why you type, but it was a legit coin here - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ttc-protocol/#markets. Honestly, I don't know this coin, and although it has a great volume but I haven't see some hype on this one. Probably the coins listed in Binance are a better choice, they have great support and the volume is good really, especially if Binance continues to improve.

Speaking of BNB though, I know the OP is asking about altcoins, but I don't know, maybe you can look at Binance launchpad and see what IEO's are store in the pipeline? It seems that almost of the IEO's that Binance releases has a good profit. So it does pop up in my mind and I hope that the OP might consider and test IEO's. Goodluck though and hope you come back and update everyone here.

My suggestion is for LTC coins that have a valid trend because right next August will go to the Halving agenda. the prize will drop to 12.5 / block specified. Although there is a price correction in the current situation due to some sudden conversion factors from traders such as rising prices of BTC and BNB, LTC remains healthy and does not change the scheme that will occur.

Recently discover the BTC2 which was also recently listed on coinmarketcap. Its price was less than 10 cents when it was listed no its 50cents. This is a BTC fork but its features are sort of a privacy coin. The best feature I can say is that, if you have some of it, you can stake it on their webwallet to grow your money without doing anything but storing. Just got to know about BTC2 and in my opinion I really believe it's worth giving a try because it is good for one to diversify his or her investment capital into different investment opportunity for bumper return on investment if all work fine. And I will keep an eye on this new coin from today.

If you do have the funds then why not?It all matter if you can risk up your money to diversify your investment but expect on this btc 2 to be a shitcoin. Its just being hyped because of the name itself being tagged with btc.I'd rather put up my money on a forked coin rather than on this one.

For the current situation, fundamental analysis is far more useful than technical, because the market is sluggish, and nowadays there are many good news, Tron, Ripple and Litecoin. You can choose one or you can buy all of them

There are lot of coins to choose from even based on potential level so you could pick some randomly or based on high market cap ranking values. But if you don't know anything about these then you may not yet ready to invest so pick bitcoin and learn about crypto currency.
Then later find which is good altcoin to invest and keep making profits but the first step is to have some bitcoin.
Picking project randomly has been one of the real thing that has led a lot of us into making wrong investment decision, there are chances of losing big time when you pick project randomly than to do a proper research on them. I am not a saint of this, but gone are the days when we see to trust all the ICO we see in the market because we had never seen any case of bad ICO or scam related projects, but now that these are existing, the only way to invest in a quality projects is to do a proper research, which using top ranked coins in the market can help us limit the number of coins we need to research on before making investment.

I suggest you stick to the main one to step in : I would say BTC, ETH which are both on most of the exchanges of the planet. Take you time with the altcoins, don't follow the hype and take care there is a lot of total shitcoin imo even in the top coins. If you like to select a few altcoins, try to find those that are undiscovered by the public, expecting high growth of visibility. but be aware it gonna hard to beat the BTC growth you might be losing your BTC, ETH investing in altcoins. learn from experience...

I think all the analysis that you do will not guarantee your security when trading because trading in the world of cryptocurrency can never be predicted so you better save the capital you have and go into the exchange when there is good news.

I have TTC on my portfolio and still among my watch list, I invested in them because of I have this believe after going through their whitepaper that they will come out to be outstanding in future too, but didn’t get much hype because of the bear market that has affected most of the coins we also believe in. One outstanding thing I like about TTC is that it has always been appreciating ever since it was introduced, even if it is not much, and this coin has never experienced any form of artificial pump that could lead to sudden dumping. I guess they really have a solid working product that is making them have slow increase organically.

I think it will be more effective than we start trading from the uncertainty of an altcoin. of course by combining fundamental and technical analysis will have better accuracy

Maybe he can buy all of the coins you suggest so he can have a chance to get a bigger profit. But that will depend on how much money he has, and if he still has money, then it's not a problem for him to buy any coins. I hope that he can analyze before he buys because of the market still unpredicted and if he cannot make a correct analyze, then it could lead him to get a lose. But I don't depend on the news because the news cannot always be trust and sometimes, the news can make people panic and they will make the price down too deep.

Choose altcoin which belongs to the top 10 like ETH, TRX, BTC, etc.. though it does not matter which crypto you choose to invest in, what matters is your strategy and hard work. You must do your research to be able to decide and choose the best coin that suits you.

You cannot select coin to trade based on the good news surrounding the exchange hosting it, but it has to be based on good news concerning the project itself. The fact that Binance Is having so many goods news today doesn’t mean you can trust all the coins you see in their platform. There are still so many projects that will have issue in future and turn to a shitcoins on their platform, but what a trader should be after first whether he wants to be a short trader or a long term trader is how quality the coin project is and how reputable the developers of these coins to be traded is, then he can then apply the other strategies to make the trade interesting.

If you are not that good in choosing which altcoin to invest then try buying top 5 coins in the market. In that way you are aware that these coins will not bring you down.

For a newbie the best strategy is to stick to the most well known coins like BTC or LTC, trying to find good coins among the thousands of coins in the market is not a task that a newbie can do efficiently, in fact we see proof of this every day in the forum, a newbie invest in a coin that no one knows thinking that he has discovered the next bitcoin only to realize too late they have discovered yet another scammer that will never allow them to see their money again.

Lots of coins, so you are confused? The just go to coinmarketcap. Look for top coins with good volume. Now choose some of the coins from the top list. Do some intensive research on those coins. Look for coins that you think has potential. Pick up some coins from there and just invest on it. I would suggest you to invest most of your capital on bitcoin to be on the safe side. Looking for peoples suggestion will just give you biased answers.
