ETH vs BTC

Yeah if youre talking about the speed, of course eth is faster than bitcoin for transaction. But most of investors will choose btc instead ETH because they know Bitcoin is legend of the crypto, without bitcoin ethereum will not exist.

In crypto , everything is possible but as we know that all depends the market ( supply and demand )
So far , bitcoin is undefeatable !

Before ETH , LTC was 2nd position but it can't retrieve the throne so I doubt ETH either

Btc is still the best for me and eth  is the secondary coin for me,there for those to coins are the best  here in cryptocurrency so if we invest we can do that two coins to invest.but must try other altcoins but make sure go only in legit projects so you will gain profits.

I see bitcoin and ethereum right now still the same. Lately they just following each price if going down or up based on their price. But bitcoin is the best for higher volume of all alts.

Yeah speed is one.

Don't really know what is happening with bitcoin but it seems that is because of the ban in China for miners which will lower those who verify the transactions. Even with a good amount in fees the tx time is still way slow than before.

Recently, I used ETH as means to gather funds because of the slow tx time in bitcoin. Sold my bitcoin for ETH which really hurts a lot including exchange fees.
The good thing is the payment for ETH transaction is not that high and also the time is way fast which is like bitcoin before.
Something must be really done.
I am no developer,engineer or programmer but just a consumer and bitcoin user and also waiting for good news on changes about this.

If you compare these two coins, then of course Bitcoin is much better.  because it is the most popular and it invests a lot of people.  But if you compare ethereum from any altcoin, then I will tell you that it is the best among the altcoins and you can’t even argue

Eth can be superior in transaction speed aspect, but it doesn't offer any threat to bitcoin leadership on the market. On the other hand, there are other altcoins which offer risk to eth 2nd position: eos, neo, tron and so on.
I think there are more chances for eth to lose its position than taking anything from btc.

If the only basis will just be both as payment then people will surely use ethereum for fast process and shorter transaction time but this is not the case, people look at both of them differently as much as they regard and value them differently. Not much of us want to use bitcoin to pay for pizza or coffee and not all also regard ethereum as a commodity or store of value. It will be like substituting salt with sugar or vice versa which cannot be because each has different flavor.

Nowadays, people cannot use either as a more convenient and faster alternative to fiat money, as well as a more stable one. It is precisely the overcoming of these three criteria that is capable of revolutionizing the market of means of payment.

True, In their path it is different and not worthy of comparison, but in their crypto space it is the same, because both are in a cryptocurrency even though bitcoin was born earlier than eth, we can compare it only to the interest

I am still not sure if ETH can exceed BTC.
the proof is eth is declining and it is difficult to rise again like in 2017.
while BTC can be said to be stable.

I do not care how many things ETH can do better than bitcoin, there is one huge issue that will never be resolved, the immutability of the bitcoin blockchain is absolute while this is not the case with ETH as demonstrated by the DAO incident which led to the ethereum hard fork and the creation of ETC, ETH is great for trading and making money with it but that is it, I will never hold my money long term in ETH because of this, if they can reverse transactions once they can do it again and as such they are no different than banks.
