@OP you didn't add the bad sides which is obvious most of the bounty campaign are scam? You didn't know that?

It's useless to promote them unless if they are serious project so think twice before you join in any bounty because you are helping them to promote their project which you don't know if it's real or not or it they just made the project to collect more money and get rich.

I hope many bounty hunters here on the forum can realize that they are promoting a scam project don't let them abuse because if they can easily full people here on the forum they will always doing this.

No matter how cautious you are, everything can ever happen. Therefore, don’t keep your coins in exchanges's wallets. Even large exchanges were crack, what to say about individual trader's wallets? Sadly for a hacker, this is a business, scammers  have been and will be,even there are many scammers in real life.

For newbies in the crypto business, you must Know this. make sure you never associate your exchange email with your bounty account.  make this a top priority. i advice hunters to have more than 3 gmail accounts.

The good side of bounties
1; you will definitely make lot of money campaigning for good projects.
2; you might even get rich on the long term if you are a holder of coins and able to detect good projects.

BAD SIDE.

1; whether you like it or now, your social media accounts will receive login threat(someone trying to login to your account from a different location)
2; hackers will also play with emails that was exposed while registering on bounties.

3; if your account is not secured properly, you will lose everything. even your wallet.

Guys i just got HACKED on my hitbtc exchange account.
login location United Kingdom.
i never know u.k have hackers too.

When I started bounty, I made sure my personal email never got missed up with my bounty life and even when I see notifications of someone trying to login to my mail, I always laugh cos even if they eventually do, it's just an empty box filled with bounty mails

Not bad Smiley I quite agree with you about the threats on our social network accounts, and even our email. I frequently receive notifications of login attempts or requests for password changes ...

Concerning your hacker, located in the United Kingdom, he has very well been able to use a vpn quite simply (it is surely the case actually ...)

You lost big ??

I didn't think even email could be a threat to our security. I'm sorry for your loss of funds and thank you for letting us know.

I learnt this earlier with Airdrops, had been using my exchange and major emails until I started receiving a lot of spam emails and attempted logins in my account, I quickly had to change all my passwords and I was lucky I used to 2fa on all of them but then, I created a different profile, email, social media account and other accounts different for bounty and Airdrops

If you're doing bounty hunting its best to use a separate email for your activities, use unique addresses for each campaign, and ensure that your private keys are stored safely in cold storage and use Metamask for your Ethereum wallet transactions to ensure everything is safe and secure

Yes. Be responsible to secure your private keys all the time so that hackers cannot see chances to steal your hard earned profits. Bounty hunting is really good especially if you have lot of accounts to participate in different campaigns but make sure also that you are able to keep safe all your password all the time.

Yes it was,and also they take your personal identities for your rewards ,so i dont think that it was exist because we do bounty to earn not to give the identity so they should be fair that there are participants who work hard and willing to help to recognize their project,so what if the kyc is not approve? Your work will be worthless?

So sad that you got hacked but the truth is that to every business there is certainly the positive and negative side though the positive might cover the negative. Bounty is very lucrative and it gives you the opportunity to promote a good project but then one should have a separate e-mail for bounties because in the course of joining these bounties, we tend to expose our mails.

In any kinds of investment there are always be a Good and Bad sides whether it become bounty or any other form of investment. back to the topic on bounties today you have only 20% Good and 70% Bad and I'm being good today so I just put that that way on the other user they might rate it lowest than that. Let's just hope that we are on the good sides when joining some bounties.

In investments yes but bounty is not an investment because you arent required to put money on it but you are only investing your time and effort to make the job .

on bounties today you have only 20% Good and 70% Bad

Woah those numbers are pretty scary huh but yeah i agree with it  because even me i also experienced to get lots of bad bounties more than the good one .

Let's just hope that we are on the good sides when joining some bounties.

Yeah thats the way it is .  we must pretend to be always positive because that will give you courage and confident to continue working in the hopes of getting some .

I've also experienced the same thing as you about hitbtc, for that I have never used e-mail related to a bitcointalk account or social media account because I don't want to experience hacking again, ignoring incoming e-mails.

You can easily make email, you should be wise not to associate your personal email you use in exchange and in bounty, that would be too risky.
It's easy to determine if the emails you receive are legit or not, if it's not legit, just disregard .

I think regarding hitbtc, that is their system work, you need to use your email and every time you withdraw aside from putting 2FA code if you have, you also need to confirm it via email.

First the good side of the bounty projects are can bring jobs to many people but this is not accurate because the bad side of bounty are you will be payed by tokens that has no value  so in choosing the bounty to promote is now difficult to have a good bounties to pay in eth or btc.So if the projects that you promote cant give you benefits how much more to investors? so i choose Dencoin tokens to promote because this project has the potential tokens that will grow if its dumped at first but this tokens can grow in the future so i must go at this project and you also visit the website of the Dencoin tokens.

I think there is a lot people helped because bounty campaign, their economy life getting better. Beside earning free token, we earn extra money and give us knowledge about the project if we studying about the project we join.
About the negative side, i think there is not much negative side as long we secure our social media or our email address

I am agree that we should make account in exchanger with different email. Email we used in exchangers should not used for bounties or others and keep it secret. I think we can ask bounty manager to hide our email in spreadsheet if this spam but the important thing is make a strong password and always ignore suspicious link on our email
