Hi All,

Great board going on here. I am new to the crypto world, so my knowledge is very limited.

I would appreciate any advice from you all if this (managed) investment trading company may be realistic? They work on high volume, low margin trades, with returns of 40-55% net per year to the investors (profit sharing model where they execute the buy and sell orders in my account). Recent promotion is 45% return in 3 months  Huh

The site is https://www.axfinancialgroup.com/

Any advice would be appreciated on this.. Thanks.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Those percentage returns are achievable.

Recent promotion is 45% return in 3 months  Huh
Did the promotion say the 45% return in 3 months is "guaranteed"? If so, then beware. I would instantly walk away if they say that to me.

Lol. “Promotion” that randomly increases your profit by 4 times? That surely isn’t an easy thing to do.

I would stay away from this. Looks like a ponzi trying to grab a few new users (possibly to exit scam). It just looks like the typical “we have the best traders with years of experience, so we can double your money” kind of website anyway.

<...>
The site does not even seem crypto related. There are some very weak news articles on it (amongst others), but their product brochure goes on about Forex and a non-guaranteed 15% to 25% annual ROI. It looks like a "regular" type of investment corporation, that offers high-risk investment with a potential high ROI. Nevertheless, the site’s information is pretty poor and vague.

I couldn't see info on the promotion you mention, but a guaranteed ROI, be it promotional or not, extremely fishy ...

I am always sceptical when I read guaranteed X amount every month or year especially in the crypto industry.
Without investigating too much I checked the domain on whois and the site has been around since 2016. At least it is not a brand new site created to grab as much as possible and as soon as possible.

raulg77, if someone promise you 45% profit in 3 months, or even in a one year it is not realistic and you should stay away from such offers. You should also scroll to the bottom of the page and read Risk Disclaimer, possible profit is calculated based on past performance and there is no guarantee that this can be achieved in the future. With minimal investment of €5.000 and 3-5 years period it is a very risky business decision.

Still, it's your money at the end, but ask yourself what is smarter to do, invest with that company or invest that money in bitcoin?

I think 45% profits for a year is quite achievable (though it's difficult) but doesn't mean it is guaranteed. 45% for 3 months is extremely high that it is impossible to say you'll always get that for each period. Sounds like another scam disguised as HYIP for me.

I think you should look at money market funds, which most of the time can give you 5% return for a year if you want something less fishy with higher legit ratio.

It's very realistic but you shouldn't rely on any body or company to achieve such result. If you ask me it's a poor offer as trading individually can earn you 3-4 times of that offer either in Satoshi or usd-value. I wouldn't advice you give your funds to some random service offering you certain returns as this days, most of those companies aren't trading but just relying on new investors fund to pay current investors through MLM/referral system strategy which is just Ponzi scheme.

You're better off learning how to trade and do the trading yourself which might take you few weeks/months and even some losses but when you do perfect the skills you can make even more in weeks than what they're promising  in months/years.

Rule of thumb: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is and you should stay away from it. The old 'cloud mining' ponzis used this tactic a lot with inflated numbers for referral commission and 'guaranteed' profits.

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

Think of it yourself. If you would run such a business yourself, where would you get the money to pay your users? The money always has to come from somewhere. If your answer is that you're getting the payouts from the deposits of other newer members, then that's pretty much the dictionary definition of a ponzi scheme.

Based on the percentage from the investment, i will clearly state that, you should stay far from that platform as it looks fishing. There are threads regarding how to detect scam projects or scam projects base on investors returns, which i think will help you out. Feel free to search this forum for more help, wish you good luck in your decision mate. “risk-free”, “absolutely safe” and “guaranteed profit”, Latest scam!!
I was scammed longtime ago and have learnt my lessons on investment returns.  Embarrassed

Although it's very hard to discourage Newbies on investment process when it come to Huge returns, until they are caught up on the web before they lean their lesson, this apply in my own case, so, GOOD LUCK!!.

40-55% profit per 12 months seems realistic but 45% returns in just 3 months seems good to be true  and in crypto sphere.
1) Everything which seems to be true is definitely scam.
2) 98% of every crypto investment company are scam.
Why invest your coin or fund in a company you barely know when you can make yourself some awesome profit through trading and giving loan to people on here.

I don't trust the company and you shouldn't trust them either.

Hi guys! Wow this forum is great, thanks to all for the replies!

Please excuse if my English is poor as not my first language.

Well, to update you on few more things below, I have read all comments and agree on the short time frame and such high returns seem fishy at best, someone I know just invested and she is totally sold on them - usual excitement (and greed perhaps)?

There are a few additional things to know..which I am curious about

1. They are not saying it is guaranteed for this product, just showing past transactions (which is a detailed spread sheet of small, high volume trades mostly all small positive gains and a few negative ones - investing in Bitcoin, Etherum and some major currencies).

2. 45% is the investors net profit share, the total profit is more as the company keeps 33% of the total profit and 67% to the investor - so it works out to net about 45% per year on the invested amount - so you are all saying that is possible it seems?

3. The new offer which is a "limited time offer" is paying 4% per week for 3 months - so 45% in 3 months

4. What concern me is few other things - They have their domain name concealed as to who the owners are - is this not strange for a finance investment firm? They have an office though with staff not just website. Then, they do not seem to be regulated by any securities board here in Dubai. And finally they have this scheme to get more investors and they have many levels of very attractive commission, rewards, prizes like roles, vacations, car, and luxury house, etc.. and signup bonus (each time investor puts more money into the trading account, they have to pay 10% which 50% is shared with the introducer) - and you make money if your investor brings more investors..

5. I was intrigued as they said that there is an app which I can use to see all the trades happening in my account (which I setup from a bank here and then they are only allowed to buy and sell on my behalf not take out money). Something like that - so it got me thinking could this be a great opportunity as I have my own trading account in my name form the bank?  And the spreadsheet seems good too???

6. Details on the normal offer

Contract period: UNDEFINED
(Recommended period 1 year)
Payouts: ANYTIME
Entry Fee: 10%
Profit Sharing: 63% - 37%
Min.Investment: 5.000 USD
Expected Profit: 25% - 50% per year

HOW WE DO IT
- Best electronic trading tools
- Technical & Fundamental analysis
- Trading Currencies: EUR, USD, GBP,
JPY, AUD, CAD, XAU, XAG, BTC, ETH

YOUR PROTECTION
- Individual account in your name
- 24/7 insight into own trading account

7. Details on the SECURED offer (aka guaranteed)

Contract period: 15 MONTHS
Payouts: QUARTERLY (3,6%)
Min.Investment: 25.000 AED
Fixed profit:
18% in 15 MONTHS

YOUR PROTECTION
- SECURED PRINCIPAL
1 cheque
- SECURED PROFIT
5 cheques
SECURED PRINCIPAL
SECURED PROFIT

HOW WE DO IT

- Trading in international
capital markets

Note - 18% in 15 months is not a lot so seems this may be genuine?

Any other feedback would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes its human to think you do not want to miss out on great offer or b e someone in the know, but I have many hesitations, my friend she is very happy though and promoting it hard.

Thanks guys!

But also, if it is fishy or scam, I dont think they will go anywhere in 3 months right, so maybe for some time people will get payments on time etc?

I also could not dig up any info on the owners online besides a few articles or bitcoin events - which is odd for a company in business for 11 years.

~snipped~

The way you construct this 2nd post of yours in this thread as a response to those replies here makes me think that you are really eager to test the waters at the site.

Since no one here has an actual experience using them, we are just leading you into a "safe" place.

Opportunity? Chances? They are everywhere. It's just that we can grab these things without increasing the risks we are dealing with. Even without digging technical stuff at what they offered, how come the reviews and information about them are limited? Might be promising but I'd rather use my common sense here.

I'm seeing this as a pure promotion. No offense.

At first: Thanks for asking for opinions if the site is legit. It's always good to discuss if you are not sure if something is legit.

1. They are not saying it is guaranteed for this product, just showing past transactions (which is a detailed spread sheet of small, high volume trades mostly all small positive gains and a few negative ones - investing in Bitcoin, Etherum and some major currencies).
It's very easy for them to fake their proof of successful "trades", they will just select random trades of the past and show them as "hey we have done successful trades, invest bro!". It's another thing if they have to do them in real time with money of investors.
Most likely these proofs are faked.

2. 45% is the investors net profit share, the total profit is more as the company keeps 33% of the total profit and 67% to the investor - so it works out to net about 45% per year on the invested amount - so you are all saying that is possible it seems?
A profit sharing business is possible, no doubt, but I think such a ROI is absolutely unrealistic for trading / stocks etc.

3. The new offer which is a "limited time offer" is paying 4% per week for 3 months - so 45% in 3 months
Sounds very strange, that would be 180% per year. Not realistic at all in my opinion.

Could be a classical MLM (multi-level-marketing) where investors are rewarded if they invite other investors and get a part of their referrals investments. 99,9% of this sort of business is scam and never met the expecations. MLM is very beneficial for scams because investors are doing the "dirty job" (bring new investors in).

Sounds like an "invest first", we are legit - strategy. But if you have sent your money it's gone.

Any other feedback would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes its human to think you do not want to miss out on great offer or b e someone in the know, but I have many hesitations, my friend she is very happy though and promoting it hard.

Thanks guys!
My conclusion:
Better stay away here, there are too many red flags, better safe than sorry.

Trading scams are always very famous for scammers because trading is something where you can't give a proof if the operators are legit. Sometimes they say we can't show you a proof because it's a secret strategy or they are just faking proof of supposed trades. BitConnect, the biggest scam was also based on trading.
Another red flag is that they don't have any team on their website - no pictures, no links to social media accounts like LinkedIn where you can dig deeper if they have the knowledge. But even then I think it's extremely unrealistic to make such profits from trading. There is no way to get such profits from stocks/trading. Legit cloudming can get high rewards (in Fiat) if the hashrate isn't exploding. But it was almost always better to keep your crypto instead of cloudmining.

Scammers are getting more experienced and personally I have the impression that we are going to see more "exclusive" scams like the website is designed. The traditional fake ICOs or fake Cloudminers are out and people know to avoid them, so the scammers might try something new.

I can't say if it's scam but it looks like. I won't invest personally.  Smiley

Thanks.

R

If someone cut make a return of investment on 45% in 3 months then they would not need your small deposit to make money. You can be sure it's a scam.

In cryptos, there is a lot of possibilities, but no guarantees,  The last 10 years have shown that the best you cut do was just hold bitcoins in your own wallet. I think that strategy is still the best anyone can take, but do your own due diligence.

No promotion at all mate, was just asking. And no offence taken as well! Besides the fact that if I was promoting anything I would not be talking about the pyramid style comm payouts. Thanks for the feedback though, appreciated!

No offense.

It is a scam and will run away with your money at some point in time, simple as that. 45% after a few months or 180% after a year is completely insane and should be your first clue it's a scam. Think about it, they would have the world's entire supply of money in a few years time with this type of return, it's just a scam.

That is actually possible in cryptoland (I mean 50-55%). You can even make that amount in a day if you're a real good trader and the market shows positivism that day. But, this is the other side: Many of those who'll tell you they'll invest with your money ad give you that huge amount are liars and scammers. They eventually run away with the money. If you're doing it yourself, it is very possible but if they're doing it for you, it's quiwt dangerous/risky!
