I have really learnt a lot for the few time I have spend here so far, I observed that this platform needs more time and commitment if one must catch up and I have decide to scheduled 3 hour on a daily basis to be learning and doing some research about this prestigious Forum. I also noticed without well constructive and meaningful post my Forum account will lack growth, my question is what are the qualities of a well constructive and meaningful post? What do I need to put in place to impact on other forum members be of a help is my priority. Your opinions are highly appreciated.

What defines a quality post is somewhat endless and more or less subjective, but there are obvious features of a quality post that marks it out instantly from poorly constructed ones.
It shouldn't also be mistaken for the length of the post, an assemblance of a million meaningless words wouldn't be appreciated by anyone, instead sooner or later it'll lead you to plagiarise which which lead to expulsion.
You need to be yourself firstly to make meaningful posts, yes you must read and learn from others(online) also but you only use the knowledge gained to shape your own understanding and build your knowledge.
If you try so hard to copy others to make good posts, you'll only unknowingly be doing the actual opposite.
Make adequate research, build your knowledge, then by yourself try out what you've learnt, either through new topics or replies on areas you have sufficient knowledge on.

What's so difficult to understand about Bitcointalk that you would need to learn about it 3 hours a day? Bitcointalk just works like a typical online community forum. Pretty much no different compared to most forums existing right now, besides the stricter rules.

I think he is much more interested in learning how to rank up than actually learning the valuable information this forum provides. I would not be surprised if one day he'll be one of the forum "politicians".

If you spend 3 hours a day just reading the forum, you probably have found a lot of high quality and well constructed posts.

Why do you find those posts so interesting, that you are willing to spend 3 hours every day here? What makes those posts so interesting to you?

If you can answer that, you can just create posts like those ones you admire so much. You don´t need to look for other people´s opinions, as everyone has a different opinion about what is a high quality post.

If you really wish to be helpful here to others, then the first task is to document yourself well enough to be able to provide advice or help to others. That is not something one has when they start-off, and it takes time (lest one wants to handout potentially deceptive advice). That does not mean you need to be some sort of Guru to try to help out, but you should know the ropes.

Every good things takes time.
There are many different threads created by forum members from where you can learn about forum and definitely those threads will helps to increase your quality of posts, slowly.

The most problem is people will appreciate your post but don't give merits. At that time you may fill bad it really hurts when you try your best and don't get merit. Some people don't share merits even on best posts and some people meriting best posts always.


The best place to earn merit (growth of your account) Beginners & Help. Try to help beginners. Users like DdmrDdmr will sure give you merit if your posts are worthy.

Try to help your local boards, Try to increase engagement in your local board.

You need to know what your objective is here in the forum.

let's assume you were some programmer and you were interested in learning more about bitcoin and anonymous altcoins. and that your interest in bitcoin and anonymous altcoins was because you want to create a revolutionary altcoin for example, I believe that when you were to make some post, your post would be of quality ... because you would be posting to get information and receive quality information and you would not be doing forced post. would be natural post.

I will give another example, if you were a technical analyst and you share your knowledge, you would make a post of good quality and spontaneous.

In short, whenever you post, first read every thread or at least read the last pages and then ask yourself if your post will add some good information... if you think your post will not add anything new and useful, do not post

Chris you will quickly find that as you grow with this forum that the 3 hours will quickly increase over time, because some of the people on this forum becomes your friends and your interest in the technology increase as you go deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole.

I also underestimated the power of knowledge when I started out on this forum and I had my doubts about this technology, until I started to dig a little deeper. It becomes part of your daily schedule to pop in here and to read the latest posts and news that are posted on here.
