Hi all,

I'm working on an mobile app that will enable folks to sell anything they want. My question is around payment; I was planning to forgo typical payment guys (Paypal, Stripe etc) and allow any payment method e.g cash. However, after following the rise of BTC, should I accept it? Has anyone developed a marketplace app that accepts it? If so, it it being adopted by a large number of folks?

My concerns evolve around the fact folks (i.e the masses) have been trained to use Paypal, Credit Cards for so long that they'd find BTC too complex.

There are some plugins for wordpress and some carts that are compatible with bitcoin! But more user friendly apps are needed.

Contract Vault     Next Generation Agreements for Everyone on The Ethereum Blockchain

I think from a developer's perspective it's pretty well documented - I was more concerned about the user. The app I am building is an iOS app so I guess as long as folks are getting BTC wallets i.e Coinbase that are consumer friendly then maybe there's a way to integrate them into my UX.

I can always wait and add BTC integration at a later stage when it becomes more mainstream.

Good luck not getting shitcanned by Apple for putting BTC in it.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.
