To date, a lot of officials in different countries have long made certain stocks of their personal Bitcoin, but at the same time, no one advocates for cryptocurrency.  Even official statements are negative in some cases.  I cannot understand why in such cases there is a very large discrepancy in the actions and statements of state officials.

My country allowed some fintech companies to set up their business in one of the economic zones, several bitcoin exchanges are given licenses by the government to operate here and a well-known local bank had established its first bitcoin atm in the capital of this country. It means the bitcoin adoption in my country continuous and government welcomes it even there is no law legalizing it. Some remittance companies are using cryptocurrencies like bitcoin to speed up the sending of money to its destination. Bitcoin is already to known some businesses in my country but they are still reluctant to use it as payment.

You should have many things to thank those in power in your country since they never followed the kind of wrong mindset exhibited by some Asian countries such as China and India. The reality of the whole matter is that no matter how we downplay the governmental role in the spread of bitcoin and cryptocurrency, it would be so hard without the support from people manning the government. Lucky are the citizens of those countries who are opening the market for cryptocurrency and the government is not using its power to suppress it just because they think they gonna lose control of the economy because of bitcoin.
Correct! +1
There are many countries that are blocking their citizens to join the global changes. They might feel some strange regarding with cryptocurrencies and I do think that they treat crypto as a threat with their economic stability.
Well, we just seek and pray that our own country will be giving the opportunity for the people to engage with this such activities. We have all freedom to join whatever we want as long as it would not deprive others right.

I'm from India and adoption there is really weak. I don't think it's only gov's fault. More likely, people who haven't enough education to understand crypto.

in my country (Indonesia), cryptocurrency is not widely known but the government also does not prohibit cryptocurrency, they only prioritize local money as online payments
At least they not make it illegal, because in some countries, bitcoin already illegal thing so people maybe afraid to use it. If it is even not legal yet, but in Indonesia people still can use it but they take the risk by themself.

Maybe not just yet, it might be a matter of time until the Indonesian government makes new regulations. Bank Indonesia has warned the Indonesian people not to use bitcoin as a transaction because it is risky, well if there are agencies that criticize it usually the government will take action in the next few years. Like illegal cellphones yesterday, didn't the government get criticism from official distributors regarding illegal cellphones, so the Indonesian government made regulations that prohibited illegal cellphones. And this can happen to bitcoin too in the future.

At the state level, bitcoin is not legalized. But this does not prevent anyone from using cryptocurrencies. That is the advantage of cryptocurrency and blockchain, that no one can globally influence this process.

In my country, the government warns against trading cryptocurrencies but it is not illegal. They are just concerned about citizens losing money.

Well, in my country the government doesn’t talk much about cryptocurrency. There is no regulations or they don’t try to legalize it until now. But at least the government doesn’t try to prevent the bitcoin adoption, i mean people can join the crypto industry without fear. They buy btc and sell. Almost everyone knows about Btc and crypto market and many people prefer to invest in BTC. So i think Btc adoption process is actually good in my country. We didn’t face any problem until now.

In fact, We already  10 exchange that accepted bitcoin as online payment and affiliated with different categories such as Billings, Remittances, sending money, mobile load and more. Also the average of Bitcoin and bitcoin believers here are increasing its level too.

There is no legality improval INA cryptocurrency but we the citizens are free to trade, own and use Bitcoin whenever we want to do and how we want to use it. Basically, the country has not embrace the world of cryptocurrency but appreciated the true gospel of the Blockchain and Bitcoin the main stream. Hope they legalize cryptocurrency in the country to give a full adoption in the country.

This is for members outside of the United States of America since things going in that country are all on the news but for those countries who are usually outside the radar of the mainstream media, I would like to get updates which can be good and bad, favorable and unfavorable with bitcoin. Here in my country, we have no problem with the government as regulatory bodies are not hindering the growth of cryptocurrency and in fact we have many more exchanges already approved and they can start doing business in 2020. Reading the news in other countries, I am feeling lucky to be a resident here.

What about in your own native land...how's bitcoin adoption been going on? Is there a bright future in there or maybe is it facing a gloomy and cloudy prospect? Let's talk...

In our country, there are plenty of users that are already knowledgeable on how to use Blockchain Technology. They have adopted it in different platforms but if we are talking about Bitcoin alone then people that are not knowledgeable or does not even know what Cryptocurrency is, thinks that it is a scam or fraud that will only take their money away. Bitcoin adoption in our country will take a lot of time because there are only few teachers that are willing to teach it to others. They are scared that people might get greedy and abuse it. They can also use it in scams that might take advantage of others so Bitcoin users in our country are very secretive.

my country president is someone who thinks openly about technological developments, he once discussed that he would still study the benefits of cryptocurrencies and blockchain innovation. I feel the future of cryptocurrencies in my country, especially Bitcoin and Stablecoins will be very bright. good luck for us and cryptocurrency  Smiley

Here in US we even have some place when you can buy btc or exchange btc to fiat offline. I like this but I don't like the fact that a lot of exchanges including Binance ban US citizens..

In my country the adoption of the blockchain technology is quit rapid than the last few years from now. I see that there are many people around wanted to have or used crypto as an investment for profiting purposes. So the crypro now is becoming more popular in here and maybe in the near future it will become a future of payment.

I think your from Philippines (or maybe I’m wrong)but same as your country has,our government also have the same stand in regards to bitcoin and many of us cryptonians are thinking that our president is also investing here since he was very open about the status of crypto here(though the central bank released a warning about the scamming )yet they aren’t putting any restrictions about this

Bitcoin Adoption In our Country is quite progressive. After a few years of struggle in our country, Bitcoin has now become popular among the people. Because of people interest in bitcoin, the Government also start to consider about Bitcoin. It might be a matter of time, people willfully involved with bitcoin and they accept it positively.

In my country, no legislation stopping it for now though few persons have raised issues concerning its usage. As long as you come across any platform accepting it here, it's very okay as no one will embarrass you for that. Though one financial expert in my country already told the central bank to open fronts for technological advancement because he sees cryptocurrencies as the future of financial transactions.

You are lucky enough. My government do  not support their citizens to use bitcoin at all even they have regulation that said any valid transaction have to be made by valid fiat that issued by bank central.
