My country (Ukraine) does not regulate cryptocurrencies yet. There were different draft laws, some better than others, but none were passed. The overall situation, however, is pretty good. We have around 1 visit of a crypto exchange per 20 people per month, which is a rather high number. There are various local exchanges to sell BTC for national fiat being transferred to a bank account, although most of these websites are probably Russian. From time to time, there are some blockchain-related talks and other events in big cities, and a small amount of stores accepts Bitcoin as payment. Some politicians declared Bitcoin as their property, more people are just using it without telling anyone, and there are no prosecutions for crypto-related activities.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

i live in sweden and i have to say so far its pretty much none existant as a currency or to buy things in stores, as a investment its a bit more , but feels like btc is something people talk about but no one owns any or have used any.
But btc is not banned in your country ? Its normal if btc is in the mouth of everyone because btc is the most pooular crypto but you should be careful talking btc on public especially if its banned on your country because you can get on seriuos troubles if ever there is an authority that is spying on public  . btc is also known and being used as an investment asset more than a currency due to its nature  .

In my country there are no strict rules about bitcoin ownership, it's just that bitcoin is not allowed as a payment method, and I use it more as an investment.

The situation here is quite unclear. While btc is growing among the people and forums on btc are been held frequently on university campuses, the government seems unsure of its step towards btc. We hope things becomes clearer soon so it can pave way for more adoption

In my country, Indonesia, the government urges its people not to play in crypto currencies. The state does not guarantee losses by anything caused by crypto currencies. The country does not have official regulations regarding the circulation and transaction of crypto currencies in my country. Therefore, we cannot demand protection of the state if we experience adverse events from the crypto currency. We work with crypto currencies with controls and risks that are all borne alone.

Well, a bright future it is! We have several bitcoin platforms in our country that can be used for transactions involving bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. And from what I've read, one of our government sectors planned to have a nationwide talk about crypto so that people will know how to use it properly. Plus, there are events conducted in our country hosted by known companies supporting crypto. Then there are already merchants accepting bitcoin as a payment for their service. So with all that said, crypto has really a bright future here in our country. And I must say that we are lucky enough to have that.

Bitcoin is not valid in my country. It is not legal to deal with Bitcoin. A few days ago, two people were arrested in Bangladesh for trading with Bitcoin. It is not legal to deal with the cryptocurrency in our country. In many countries of Asia, the cryptocurrency is not valid as long as India has been arrested several days ago. The cryptocurrency in these countries is still not legally acceptable and is not popular.

I did not know Bangladesh is hostile on bitcoin. I had to look it up on the internet.

Although Indian government/bank had been pressuring the community there, it has not been officialy disallowed to use bitcoin and other crypto.

I am from SE Asia and crypto is legal here. It appears that those on South Asia (includin Bangladesh( prohibits bitcoin.

It's nice to see that your country allows users to trade in cryptocurrencies. Over here in my country cryptocurrencies are not tolerated at all, there have been strong warnings from the government and also labelling cryptocurrencies as scams. I hope that in the future they change this perception of theirs and embrace the future of the financial industry.

This is for members outside of the United States of America since things going in that country are all on the news but for those countries who are usually outside the radar of the mainstream media, I would like to get updates which can be good and bad, favorable and unfavorable with bitcoin. Here in my country, we have no problem with the government as regulatory bodies are not hindering the growth of cryptocurrency and in fact we have many more exchanges already approved and they can start doing business in 2020. Reading the news in other countries, I am feeling lucky to be a resident here.

What about in your own native land...how's bitcoin adoption been going on? Is there a bright future in there or maybe is it facing a gloomy and cloudy prospect? Let's talk...
I can not answer with certainty, but in my country cryptocurrency is neutral.I hope that I will not go to jail for using cryptocurrency.I pay attention to how cryptocurrencies and innovations are introduced into society.I can honestly say that it is very slow.Perhaps this is due to the standard of living in my country.I am sure that the situation in any case should change and cryptocurrencies will use everything easily.

Cryptocurrency flow regularly and smoothly. The government does not hinder any crypto movement and in fact, they have a regulated wallet that we are using.

Bitcoin was already known in different countries around the world especially for the countries that has an advanced technology when it comes transaction, banking, and development of their respective states. Here in our country I could say that Bitcoin was already quite popular since in a pass few years that's why we are recognized this as a new way of transaction and the beginning of evolution of currency.

Bitcoin is really known to those who are prone to technology. Advertisements everywhere also those investments scams that is well advertised using btc. Here in my country got a lot of btc ponzi scams that is advertised to be legal and trustworthy schemes. But sad to say it is only good at first. That is why some of the government officials are putting a lot of investments scam to an end. And also they are putting taxes on the btc transactions.

my country's government bans BTC.  for them, BTC is a threat to the national currency.  the central bank is afraid if the public uses BTC for transactions and leaves fiat.  even.  my country's government has a plan to create E-money like BTC.  but I'm sure.  their plan will fail.

to do the adoption of bitcoin widely and evenly in a country, it requires regulation and this requires a long time. at the moment bitcoin and the use of digital currencies are still in a different path, there are no definite regulations. need support from various parties to be able to apply the use of digital currency in full.

For my country, Bitcoin is not really recognised by a lot of people. Just hand full of people living in my country uses for their online transactions. In my country, the government is not against the use of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general but only a few who are technologically inclined uses cryptocurrencies or Bitcoin.

Yes.Same with my country too.Bitcoin is not yet legalized by the government but i haven't heard negative news for bitcoin released by the government. It's just that most of the people are not yet ready and even educated about cryptocurrency.I guess the citizens in my country are also limited too who are considered knowledgeable about cryptocurrency.

When most of my countrymen heard about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency they label it as a scam investment especially those who don't have enough knowledge about it because there are a group of people here that used the peak of Bitcoin on 2017 and created an investment scheme that promises to make your money grow in just a short period of time.

Our government don't support and mind cryptocurrency here too much, I'm fine with that because they are no news about planning to regulate or even ban it.

I am sorry to say that my government still not accepting BTC and yet they are not concern about this. Actually i think our government does not know vast about this but most of the young people are involved with Crypto currency here. So we don't know actually when better days will come into my country and we will do our work strongly!!

There are a few cafes and restaurants in my country that accepts Bitcoin and unfortunately those cafes and restaurants are located in the metropolis. Awareness of Bitcoin in our country is very low. You'll be surprised that maybe 2 to 3 out of 10 knows what Bitcoin is and even if they know Bitcoin exist, they are not interested because it is more used in scams.
