As one of the worst scammers in bitcointalk.org history I think TradeFortress needs a flag. It’s well documented that he stole thousands of bitcoin’s (he says it was a hack).

I don’t believe that I am permitted to add the flag myself as I wasn’t scammed. But here’s the profile for anybody who was. It needs doing, I will support it but I can’t be the one to add it -

You can click on the below link and fill in the appropriate information
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;addflag=67058

You will need to choose if you had an implied or written agreement with him to safeguard/repay your money. If the agreement was implied and not written, you will have to ask theymos to extend the expiration of the flag, which IMO would be appropriate in TFs case.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=326879.0 <~~ for inputs scam
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4589356.0 <~~ there was a reimbursement thread here. I’m not sure if everyone was substantially repaid or not.

I have created a flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=58

I planned on creating a new scam accusation but I found an open topic that had my quote in the OP, which I have used as a reference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=326879.0

Here is a post from my previously hacked account (couldn't quote it since it was posted in a locked thread):

That address leads to the inputs.io wallet, proving that I actually had funds stored there/lost money: https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/Inputs.io?from_address=1LH3aGsw5BzhPwbSANgfCnUXoS7XkK8fQM

I cannot recall the exact amount I had stored there. I contacted TF about a refund but I have never received a reply.

This is why this new ref link system sucks. The reference link properly refers to a scam accusation, but to prove that the initiator of the flag is an actual victim you should have used your post as a reference instead. It would be nice to have a ref link option for support/opposition.

Well, if I'm getting blacklisted on a technicality - it's been nice knowing you all Smiley

I planned on creating my own topic but I was quoted in the OP of the open accusation. Starting a new topic would only polute the forum's database Grin.

...snip...I’m not sure if everyone was substantially repaid or not.

Sadly not -

Hey everyone,

I’m a little bit sad (okay, seriously sad) to announce that the reimbursement program is closing early.

I am happy that I was able to reimburse more than a hundred users, including 11 out of 12 of reachable users with the biggest balances.

Unfortunately, I do not have any more cryptocurrencies or assets that I can reimburse CL / Inputs users with. For context, the top 9 reimbursed individually have received more bitcoins from me, than anything I have to my own name today.

As far as I know, this might be the only instance in bitcoin where a significant amount of lost funds has been reimbursed, even 5 years down the track.

So the reimbursement program is now closed. I’m sorry to the ones that missed out, unfortunately there’s nothing I can do.

Best of luck with your crypto adventures,
TF

I planned on creating my own topic but I was quoted in the OP of the open accusation.

You mean the post where you said "I really don't believe that TF was behind this"? Wink

j/k

Not a problem with TF perhaps but there might be issues with quite a few of those old scams. I can't even flag GAW because there is no way for me to find old TXs to prove I'm a victim.

At first I actually thought he was telling the truth. I've known him through a website called CoinChat and he came across as a friendly and genuine guy. I was young and naive back then Cheesy.
