when can I get my coins and when will I be listed on exchanges ? This is in fact one of the most interesting at the moment.
To get free XLK you need to import your XLM wallet in: https://sharkwallet.org/
if you hold XLM on the exchange or another wallet, you need to transfer XLM to https://stellar.org/account-viewer and import wallet to https://sharkwallet.org/

the project definitely looks interesting, I think after listing on exchanges we will definitely see a flight to the moon.
It depends what exchanges it will be listed on.

if they are able to improve this network then I will gladly take part in it. still, this is a good opportunity to get coins for free...

improving a certain established network doesnt mean that they will do better in the market. most of the improved projects based from a popular platform didnt make a wave in crypto.
lets take for example the very popular one, bitcoin - many attempts have been done to topple its features, creating altcoins which are thought to be better and stronger, did they succeed?
so this is a challenge to stellar shark. can they get the popularity of stellar at least? # of users that will eventually be a loyal supporter of this network?
You are extremely right, Bitcoincash(BCH) is an improved version of BTC, Litecoin's too but who cares? Bitcoin worth more than 8000$, what about Bitcoincash?

now download the wallet and see how this project will develop in the future. I will follow the work of the team.
I guess, you don't need to download it, it has an online version: https://sharkwallet.org/#!/

"Stellar Shark will provide not just a wallet and an exchange, but also an ideal framework
to launch new decentralized projects in an affordable way. Extremely low network fees and
high capacity mean that running an ICO on Stellar Shark will be many times cheaper than
on Ethereum, and all new tokens will be tradeable on the internal decentralized exchange
from day 1. " quote from whitepaper, that will be a really great feature if realized

It seems that the information here is not complete, even the website and team are not yet available, I am still unsure about this project.

The site is already working, but I do'n see a team on it. I'm also not sure about the project yet

They will have an internal decentralized exchange anyway, so you'll be able to sell))

I think it is too early to make any conclusions. let's see how it will work in the future. But even now it looks pretty interesting.
Of course, you can't make any conclusions just the day after announcement, just wait fot the launch date.

Now, we have a bull market and you say you have a lot of interesting features like lighting network and cross-chain payments so the project can be very successful but you need to work a lot on it.

There will be an online broadcast after the fork, and during the distribution of the coins, you can find out the developers

Doesn't XLM (Stellar lumens) use Lighnting protocol too? I read that they are going to provide it.
