Take heart, if you report the hacker nothing can be done to receive your coin, you can trace the movement of the coin on blockchain, but you can't trace the hackers location which is why it's difficult to get your coin back.

I think he can trace the hackers by following the movement of the coins on blockchain and do believe that the hacker will one day transfer to an exchange that may have KYC. If the exchange wants to expose the hackers he or she can be trace and arrest by police. That is one of the disadvantages of anonymous crypto and why governments are asking for regulations.

if the wallet is hacked and the coins are taken to another address, nothing will help to return them, they can still be scrolled if they become harassed and tangled traces in other currencies at all, forget, take into account errors and do not allow them to continue

no one can stop the ethereum wallet that has been hacked ... because I have also experienced a similar incident ... and there is nothing I can do except I can only attention to one by one my altcoins are transferred to the eth address of the account hacker ... so please give your wallet security stronger than before so that the same subject doesn't happen again ...

Making the same mistake twice would be really bad. So yeah, I would also advise him to not do that again.
Encrypt the whole folder that the wallet is in along with the wallet itself so the attacks would be harder to complete.

Sorry about your situation but please do not import private keys to unofficial wallets, it's a step away from losing your entire portfolio. I always ensure I've installed appropriate wallets or I'm on verified sites before importing my private key. I believe this will serve as a lesson to many, since nobody can do anything about this, your funds are stolen and it should be a caution to everyone.

Most of the hack issues in crypto especially with the individual wallets of investors, traders and holders can be prevented by taking precautionary measures. Normally, investors are advised to take caution and never to follow or download unknown links and files sent through mails. These mails usually contain phishing viruses and programs which can tap into ones wallet.

This is very unfortunate, it is not advisable to download links from unverified websites or mails cause some of them are sent by hackers. Some of this links will look so genuine and victims won't suspect a thing. Sorry for your loss

Cases like this are a bit irredeemable because the eth can't be recalled after leaving your private wallet. What you should do at the moment is to secure all your wallets, both Web and mobile. Do not store sensitive information on Google cloud as this can be easily stolen.

Usually this accident is caused by carelessness of its users.
always keep the Private key in a safe place.
never install suspicious applications, malware is always inserted in the application on the mobile browser.

Nothing you can do sorry bro, but seriously you store your private key in your desktop ?? I think with this case give you a lesson to keep it safe. Private key is most important from wallet so save in in deep location in your laptop, hide it, give a code anything to make it safe

It is not even advisable to store private key online. They always recommended will should write our private key on a paper and be kept in a safe place. When wallet is hacked , there is no recovery , the bitter truth.

Bad news for you my friend once funds leave your wallet it's impossible to get your funds back even when you know which wallet these coins are sitting in because only the owner knows the keys if no eavesdropping is involved.

I was shocked to read that your ETH was hacked but I later understood you meant your ETH wallet.
The may out is to transfer all your alts or tokens to an entirely new wallet and keep the private key very well this time around to avoid repetition of the occurrence.

This is the first thing every new and old investor should do, they should educate themselves first on how to protect their work station and their wallet first, before thinking of hodling coins, we have a lot of good anti-virus and anti-malware in the market, and if you are going to download
anything in your computer, be sure to check it first here https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload

always keep the Private key in a safe place.
never install suspicious applications, malware is always inserted in the application on the mobile browser.
sometimes even if we keep a safe place can still be hit by hackers,
and my friend experienced it,
one way to avoid this is to keep a private key in the book,
or just open a wallet on a computer that is still new and never installed any application, except google chrome or brave maybe.

It's a pity that you can experience the event your wallet can be hacked. it might be possible by someone you can also know or are hacked by others and it is very difficult to determine who is doing it.
this is an experience that you should never have to happen again because you've experienced it.
Do not do a repeat incident if you do know that a hacker incident that you know is how.
make new ones and start to be more careful in your actions.

Well, I guess you can do nothing about it. I'm sorry to hear that from you its a lesson learned to you and for me its a reminders too.
All things are possible for the hackers, and we as a user need to be careful into our account, we should save or store our important things
into some usd flash drive or where it is not store in our desktop, at least even our desktop will be hack, hackers won't get any important things
to our pc anyway.

The most important thing in crypto is that, investor must first recognize that we're the strong players when it comes to securing our own wallets. How an investor handle a wallet and its login details determine its level of security. Avoid keeping wallet login details in emails because it is easy for hackers to tap into emails as we use them frequently to fill online forms.

You don't just jump into the cryptocurrency space without any good knowledge or background information. One of the first thing to learn is the security and safety of your asset trusted wallets to keep your asset safe and how to store your private Keys effectively. Your incident will be a lesson for others
