Well if you private key is compromised then there's no other way to secure it anymore because private key is like raw key that can open without security confirmation. Next time better to print out private key rather than saving in dekstop. So with or without evidence there's no chance to bring your token/coin back to you

what can I do to stop it
I have no evidence

the hacker's address is  0xEEBbC9888fD8Ec5dFC267a915664780c8fa66426

My address is 0xd125a58b966dc8bdf10489fd910ca929934a0dbc

It happened in Jun 6th

I guess I download a virus altcoin wallet and the hacker found my private key in my desktop

Why do you keep your private key files on your desktop? They should be stored on removable media, which is very rarely used by the computer. There is also a possibility that you participated in some of the airdrops and yourself gave the attackers your private key.

Are you sure you didn't put your private keys anywhere online especially in some forms?

This is just some piece of advice, never download an unknown wallet especially if it is just an airdrop.
If you will download something then you can have another computer for those new downloads/untrusted one!

Never quit, make this one a lesson to learn.

Final destination of those ETH: https://ethplorer.io/address/0xe73f013d204fafde6712fd2c040b9b8f9559a4af

Then after that i think it was sent to an exchange wallet : https://ethplorer.io/address/0x3b921f0f543cfdb3fe9797911267e14382d8db7b

BTW...
0.7 ETH is not too expensive for this lesson that you learned. Take care of your wallet as always, everything you did wrong before! NEVER do it again!

Never download any wallet you're not sure of its security. I remember my friend getting hacked through a broadcast message he downloaded on telegram. Using hardware wallet prevents all this hack for $100.a hardware wallet can be purchased. With hardware, no one can make a transaction except you expose your passphrase to them.

You can’t do anything now. It was a valuable lesson for you that you paid for. The main thing is that now you need to make the right conclusions.
Never use this wallet. You need to remove this application from your laptop, clean it and check it well for viruses and malware. Use the metamask to create a wallet and use it.

So sorry for your loss, but there's virtually nothing one can do when the private keys gets to the wrong hands. The only thing is that you should be more careful with your wallet subsequently and don't download any wallet without making research on its authenticity.

That is a cheap lesson in cryptocurrency security. Personally, I have been robbed of substantial number of altcoins when I used its wallet for staking. Up to this day, I still don't know how. I suspected it was a bug in the wallet. Your PC is the most vulnerable hardware (due to keylogging) to store your private keys and always keep them encrypted.

I sympathize with you, but nothing can be done in this situation. Nobody is safe from hacking, even well-known exchanges suffer from hackers. Be careful and use Metamask . I haven't meet information that it's wallet was hacked.

Well there really is nothing you can do to protect that wallet since your private key has been compromised. You could report the address to etherscan though so it csn be flagged. Any tokens sent to the wallet can be taken without your consent, I suggest you get a new wallet and avoid taking screenshots of your pk or storing your pk as an unencrypted document.
yes, it's better to send all assets in the wallet to the new wallet. wallet hacking is very possible and many cases that we have seen have occurred with investors and exchanges.

Sad, I think it's because sometimes we store private keys on a laptop. And people are ready to take your money away with different tricks. Name that Virus wallet that you download. So, others will not get into this trap.

You should use only trusted app's for holding crypto. It's like Trust wallet. And never upload your private key in any wallet or website. If you need enter your wallet - use Metamask - it's only trusted extenshion.

I don't think you were hacked. The ethereum network is secure. You may have a virus or use a wallet controlled by a third party.
Or maybe someone saw your keys when they used your computer. Check it out, and if your wallet is the reason you're losing money, send a warning to everyone. Sorry!

I think there is nothing you can do about that, that's unfortunate. Private key is risk to use, that's why it's not recommended, It's better to use Keystore because even tho they steal the Keystore file they have to know the password to open it. And if you want to be really safe you can use a hardware wallet. At the first place, you should be careful with what you installed on your device.

Sorry about that, I don't think there's anything you can do stop them from accessing that particular wallet, you must have revealed ur private keys unknowingly, just create a new wallet and move all funds into the new account.

By the way dude, you never mentioned on which wallet did you use anyway? does is MEW, Trustwallet, Mist or Imtoken?
Also, I guess you might downloaded a site or clicked some phishing site where the hacker can have an open gate to steal something
important to you and sadly you stored your private key on your desktop.

Too bad. You fell victim to one of the most common scams around here. Before installing any altcoin wallet, you need to scan the exe file with a reputed anti-virus software such as Kaspersky. If that is not possible, then you should at least read the reviews about the wallet. There are chances that users might have flagged it already for suspicious activity. Anyway, please be careful from now on.

Antivirus are so easy to bypass, i could hack someone here very easily by uploading an infected wallet fully undetected (no matter if you use VirusTotal)
People should use a HIPS (host-based intrusion prevention system) such as Comodo Internet Security. If you find it hard to use in Paranoia Mode, then just turn the Comodo HIPS on "Paranoia Mode" when you run a wallet and it will ask you to confirm every actions that the wallet is doing (extraction / running a file, read in memory/write in memory, access to the keyboard, screen, disk, and a lot more) it also includes a firewall, people who run a wallet for personal use should block any incoming port from any file that come from the wallet or the wallet itself. You can use the free version it's enough to secure you computer if you deal with the HIPS+Firewall.

yes, some people use everything to get money. they even use their skills to take profits from other people.

honestly, before looking for the coins we want, we need to know everything about the coins, such as the concept, the team involved, and find out the truth. if it's real, you won't find any strangeness in it. other than that, I agree not to install anything on your PC that you have, and prioritize always scans it with updated antivirus.

however, you need to do a check for your pc hard drive. always careful is the best way to avoid this risk.
