It's not nowadays, bittrex has set that rule since a year ago to their customer if they want to create new account, they should passed KYC before they can withdraw their money. I don't know how long their KYC process takes, but how long did you waiting to get your approval?
we can look a decrease volume trading in Bittrex be aprove.
https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/Really? But bittrex still has more volume than poloniex does, i doubt the reason why their volume is decreased because of KYC thing

I am one of the many disturbed by these not-so-positive developments in my favorite cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex which is one of the first sites I got into when I started to get involved in this industry way back in 2016-2017. Let's hope for the best that these disturbances are just temporary and soon things can be smoothen out and that Bittrex will eventually fly with exploding colors again. Cryptocurrency exchanges are playing a very pivotal role in the whole industry and thus we should be wishing them the best.

It seems to me that bittrex is one of the highest-rated trading exchanges and, therefore, not only ordinary users of cryptocurrency used its services, but also certain groups of people who have always tried to manipulate the cryptocurrency market. Perhaps because of them today there are certain problems with the provision of passport data, because previously there were very clear conditions when a user who performed funds more than $ 2,000, and more than 2 Bitcoin, must be verified. Apparently such conditions are not to everyone's liking and therefore creates certain problems.

Wow. I didn't know they just closed the accounts of Iranians and prevented them from getting back their funds. However, as the company is U.S. based with headquarters in Seattle, Americans should have no problem with them given the liabilities they would face. At least this company has an address and location visible to everyone, unlike other exchanges. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bittrex

Classic ... People who can pass the Bittrex approval process in a short time, are the most fortunate in the market ... Even the ClA doesn't do that fine ID verification..

Basic verification on Bittrex almost never works, Many like you have tried and have failed, Only way left is to do enhanced verification if you want to trade/withdraw. Bittrex has become shady exchage, I avoid it as much as I can.

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BittrexI guess this is the only positive yes, that they are based in the US so therefore are theoretically accountable, to some degree at least. Going back to the initial OP, the verification issue, on one of the past threads I referenced someone posted the following which probably explains the main issue to do with KYC issues and the like. Kudos to erk for pointing me to this article: For me, that would be case closed as to the current issues regarding verification. Additionally if you google "bittrex verification issues" there are enough threads from end of 2017 that tell you this is nothing new unfortunately, but a continuation of previous issues. Best of luck to anyone still trying to get control of their funds.
