so, thats not a reasonable reason for libra to take down the old and great crypto project such as Ethereum my friend

But, in the current era , Who is not know about Facebook?
All people in the world has been used this app for long time ago.
So, Libra will very strong.

Libra will be known thats a fact. i'm still goong to be using btc and altcoins compare to them unless the bears once again rule the market.

we need a stablecoin that will be widely known and accepted, for mass adoption of other crypto currencies, i do think that facebook had that in mind, to cover conversion process from crypto to fiat and vice versa, that market will be huge in the future, and they want to be part of it

Why would someone consider Libra as top altcoins killer, if altcoins were created with more hype than Libra that didn't bring the top altcoins down. The hype of Libra will only get the attention of investors but will not bring down the other altcoins. Each altcoins is designed differently, and may exist together at the same time.

Libra is not a killer for any of these coins as Libra is a stable coin. It also runs on full reserves and is very similar to the existing money systems.

My only worry is that their presence may not impact huge one the entire market cap of crypto but will share the revenue of existing crypto market, reason why coins like etherium, Neo, Ada, Eos will be having a stunted growth as a lot of Billions will go into buying this buy already existing crypto investors. it caused by people are overrated because libra has facebook as its parent company and a lot of supports from another major company. But they are not wanna reading the whole news about what will be main purpose of the libra creation.

Facebook decided to make a test and create their own crypto currency to see what the fuss is about crypto going on as an experiment and all of a sudden whole crypto world is focused on libra. There are hundreds of coins printing out everyday and we have over two thousand crypto currencies listed on coinmarketcap and you are focused on libra?

Why would it kill any of the coins you listed, there is no competition between libra and all those coins. Libra will be libra and create its own path and own market instead of getting into our market and take money out of it to itself, that is why I think ethereum, ripple, eos and tron is fine because the investors on those things and the teams behind those coins are still going to be there even after years go by with libra creating its own market and support somewhere else.

There is no reason to over hype the so called Facebook coin . Personally I don't see the reason for too much talk on the Facebook coin because in blockchain space, most projects are actually repetition of the existing projects and few out of them only add something new to the crypto space. Instead of all the hullabaloo over the Facebook project I think we should all wait and see how it unfolds.

On these three simple paragraphs, Libra cannot be the killer of any cryptocurrency:
1. Libra has a fixed cost (volatility is extremely low);
2. Most likely to use will need to KYC;
3. The use of Libra is allowed in countries that have legalized cryptocurrency (at least not banned).
Libra = payment system on the blockchain tied to your Facebook account, no more than.

In my opinion, Libra might get a lot of attention to Crypto users. However, time will determine.
Because whether or not strong a project will prove good after it is on the market.

I think Libra could be a killer though, people think it can't be but it can very well be a big time killer. However, it would not be killer of ethereum + ripple + eos + tron, it would be killer of usdt + usdc + gusd because Libra is a stable coin and we do need a stable coin that is backed by a big company.

Look at what these are backed by, usdt is backed by bitfinex and another company they partnered with which has its banking operations in a shady Caribbean bank and do not even have 100% backing, usdc is backed by circle which owns poloniex which is backed by big bank but that is too much "backed by" to be worthy, gusd is backed by the winklevoss twins and their company if I am not wrong and they are decent people but not as big as facebook (winklevoss and mark now both gonna have stable coin lol). So, Libra could be better than all of them.

I would not say that Libra is such a threat to above mentioned coins. It will certainly increase competition among top coins when it comes to technical development. But not killing any coins.

Libra is going to kill a hell of a lot of shitcoins that are very possible. Some shitcoins will get you into trouble. Honestly, if you don't have at least half of your crypto portfolio in btc then your doing it wrong. No matter what but stick to at least btc, eth and ltc.

Absolutely not. Libra is really different from other cryptocurrencies. It’s basically a stable coin which has a constant value. The start value has not been decided yet. But where other cryptocurrencies basically used for trading purpose and having a volatile price, Libra come as a global coin with the constant price on which people can easily trust.

My answer is NO, why because libra based in the reports is another type of.stablecoin.which means no price movements unlike the coins you stated which are based on.the.community demands and supply, and that price may vary from.it. From what i have understood, libra is.another type of payment solution based in blockchain technology without no borders,, that means its open for everybody.use,the only difference From the others is that it is backed with dollars i think.

Well then, they are all effed up. 

They need a new version of their coins just so they wont have the same feature with Libra.
Damn Zuckerberg effed them up.
Can there be a lawsuit for this kind of duplicating or copying any feature of one technology?
I really dont care about it but I want them to fight themselves and let bitcoin be the one left after they lose all their money on paying lawyers.
