It's a very strange prediction because there's a big gap between 100 thousand and 1 million. A million dollars per coin is such a big price that we'd need full adoption for it to happen. People would have to compete for every coin on the market but why should they if there's still no way to spend it.

Going from 100 thousand to 1 million can take 10 years. We will be in the era of quantum computing by then.

Anyone can make a prediction about Bitcoin and it is either correct or not correct, in my own point of view it is not impossible for Bitcoin to reach $100k US dollars if the bullish market continues to move positively just like what it is happening right now. If you check the movement of Bitcoin in November 2017 its value is playing around $7,000 to $ 8,000 US dollars and within a month it already reached its all-time high at that time and what am I saying here it is not impossible for us to reach that according to the figures of the movement shown on Coinmarketcap.

I worry about this. If it hits 100k then what if what happened when it hit 20k happens? I know a lot of people who a sour to Bitcoin because of that. And if we encourage people out of this field to buy because they trust what McAfee says, then it can hurt them. Just let it reach a million naturally and don't just go by what some guys says.

We need also to hear their opinions because even he has boastful attitude, maybe his trying to tell something. Just like, we should buy it immediately because someday it will move up to 30K dollars. He just tell us the possibility for bitcoin to move up but his opinion is too exagerated.

I agree mate ignore it, let's accept the recent price of bitcoin people dreaming bitcoin hit again price more than 20,000$ before end of this year hoping dream come true. 100,000$ for bitcoin price is very impossible to rieach it quickly but it possible to reach that value 10 year from now.

I agree.I do believe that one of these days,bitcoin price will really make it to $100k but dreaming it would reach somehow into a million,it might happen but it would really take 20 or 30 years from now.For now,i'm already satisfied with the current growth of bitcoin that is happening in the market and if this growth will not take a pause,hopefully this will go beyond $20k i guess.

Bitcoin actually has the potental to be worth much much more than anyone is thinking right now.
I'm not talking in our life times but possibly for our kids or grandkids bitcoin and crypto-currency will be the norm same way visa and mastercard are the norm today back when they first were announced they were something new no one wanted really but look where they are today.

Bitcoin will follow this path I think alot of the issue with the markets today is everyone is thinking for the now seeking profit even at the expense of adoption of bitcoin from HFT algo's working to scalp the low hanging fruit from traders to larfe hacks all take away from bitcoin and the perception it has on people.   

We took a LONG time to drift away from the silk road issues of perception by the public now we seems to be heading into the era of You call me this so Ill sue you.   If we all believe in cypto and want it to be the success it should be we really need to look at the state of the ecosystem from the outside without the rose tinted glasses.

The time frame will be the same as what the cycle will be, there's no stopping point for the potentials but since it's still up for the grabbers to bring the
value into succession, He's speculatiing for the possibilities after massed adoptions take place, there's no impossibile when investors seen the big potentials that this crypto currency market will continue and stay for the betterment of payment transactions, who knows if he's going to be right when saying this things.

Rather than giving some random predictions, he should back his claims with stats or solid proof. A lot of users are having doubts regarding the real intention of John McAfee, especially after it was made clear that he will be participating in the POTUS elections of 2020. We can't allow him to use Bitcoin as a tool for him to gain the Libertarian nomination.

I am not a big fan of John McAfee. To tell the truth, he behaves like a little kid sometimes. He needs to understand that the path from 1K to 10K is different from the one that takes 10K to 100K. And the path for 100K to 1,000K is entirely different from these two. You need an increase in market cap by $165 billion, to take the market cap from 1K to 10K. But for 10K to 100K, you need an increase of $1.65 trillion.

I have no profound judgment on this issue. But John McAfee is a talent, he knows how to make people remember him and create a formidable effect with "modern" statements. Still remember John McAfee called up the names of the previous year's coins (DGB). That is also a phenomenon ). In this case, he can also create a wind.

That's really not some kind of statement at all, all I can see is John McAfee trying to get some attention by replying on Winklevoss' tweet. You should learn how to differentiate “hype” and a prediction and the latter is nowhere near what John McAfee is trying to imply. Ny advise for you is just don't get carried away on what are others are saying especially the well-known ones who are known for hyping up everything in the market, they aren't really a reliable thing to hold on in trades.

A million is a very high number I doubt it can reach that level, when it hit too high usually people will find alternative, the rising price will affected the fee, its good to see someone really enthusiastic about bitcoin but we can't expect this based on a person view and word, it takes a big adoption to make bitcoin reach a million

We know him much here than you guys out there do, never take his word more than 3minutes becasue they hold no water therein. But critically looking at the movement of Bitcoin right now, one could tell that, it might surge unexpectedly to hit $50k or $80k but for that of $100k to $1m, am not really sure and can't vouch for that price in the future.
