The price of ETH has increased but not at the same pace as that of Bitcoin. More people are engaged in Bitcoin than ETH maybe that is the reason.

ethereum just needs the right time for price increases, and it should be recognized that now people are more focused on collecting bitcoin and waiting for bitcoin halving

I see a very big difference between the two coins where bitcoin and ethereum are very far, see ethereum when 2017 reaches 1000 $ when btc coins go up, analyzing ethereum is very confused because there is no fast increase maybe investors have reduced buying ethereum because investors prefer bitcoin

Completely agreed. Even currently the price of Bitcoin is about  $11,000 when the price of ethereum is only about 220$!! That means Ethereum is very slow in price. I think the price of ethereum will be good if it is above 400$, in this market condition. Because of bitcoin price is increasing, investors choice to investment in Bitcoin and I think that's the reason, behind slow groth of Ethereum price

I think the price of ethereum will be good if it is above 400$, in this market condition. If we look at it's value on satoshi now, ETH falls a bit, that's because BTC is on a rally and it's pretty normal altcoins are affected, but you are right ETH has not make it's independent uptrend like we saw in other coins which they have an increase similar to BTC in percentage.

in 2018 early last month ETH to the moon I thought because it was driven by other altcoins, popping up but my prediction was not right, which I see now even the new altcoins are popping up but the ETH movement is very slow, what's the problem I'm a bit confused

ethereum problems are possible because ethereum cannot be affected by bitcoin. because it should be like 2017 the price of ethereum is affected by bitcoin and ethereum is one of the coins that has a high price.

I think the key metric is the Eth/Btc ratio, not the Eth/USD ratio. I expect Eth to continue to do well against the dollar but I am concerned that it continues to fail against bitcoin. But I also agree with you that these prices have cycles and usually hodling is a good strategy.

Actually, this is good opportunity to buy if you have money to invest in crypto. Because the likelihood of increasing the price in the coming months is very high. As bitcoin grows and increases its price, a lot of cryptocurrencies will follow and eth is one of them.

And if it does not,,, then what will you do? Simply hoping is not enough to change the price, you have to change your mindset. People have been hoping every since the start of the fall in early 2018.

Think of crypto as something new to use, a technology to improve lives, not simply to make insane amounts of profit, then maybe your mindset and expectations are changed.

Seeing the movement or increase in ethereum prices is slow but I personally do not worry about it because ethereum has a good project and is still at the top of the crypto market list, with such high popularity I still believe that when the crypto market gets bull then at least the ethereum price will increase with certainty when the trend is in a more consistent increase, therefore I am still investing in ethereum and will still be patient until it reaches its peak again.
