It was actually a alcohol, gambling and drug rehabilitation center but now is also accepting bitcoin addicts. The program is aimed at helping people who have developed a compulsion to trade the cryptocurrency. They have included bitcoin trading as an online gambling.

There's so many rehabilitation out here in my place, this is almost the same of drug addiction but of course gambling addiction is not that much compare to drugs. I think if your situation is not that serious, then better to ask for the guidance of your family instead of spending money on the hospital. Because curing gambling addicts is not just easy as far as I know, mental illness needs more time to become to cure and it takes perhaps a month. Well, maybe that hospital treats bitcoin gambling addicts is also a rehab. Because curing gambling addicts is not just easy as far as I know, mental illness needs more time to become to cure and it takes perhaps a month. Why not a general hospital, why does it have to be a hospital that treats specifically 'bitcoin gambling addicts'? Addiction, in general, can be classified into different categories and variations but all stem from one root- which is addiction. I doubt that there will be a hospital catering to this special kind of addiction.

I did a little research and stumbled upon this article. The best description would be a clinic. Maybe it's not yet applied to the whole Scottish places around their country. Basically, there is no much difference with gambling addiction. It's just that the mode of currency that is being done on the patient or something. Imagine people who are diagnosed with these sicknesses, they would exhibit these different types of symptoms.

• Can not control the habit of gambling
• Excessive gambling even without budget / cannot afford
• People close to you starts to point out gambling and your habits

In my opinion, providing a rehabilitation center is far more effective than providing a special hospital for acute gambling addicts.
and hospitals are always dependent on drugs that will make dependence which will not guarantee their recovery when the drug runs out because addicts are not a physical disease but mental illnesses that are not easily restored.
rehabilitation will be more comfortable because they are in a location far from gambling and it will be easier to treat it gradually by transferring positive things, especially in mastering the faith and can teach it to be closer to God.

I think I have to agree with your point of view on this matter. Hospitals are usually dependent on drugs to "cure" their patients. But they are not really helping their patients in the long run. Is that really the proper way to stop it, so because the number of addicted gamblers is on a rise, there would be increase in hospitals?  I always learnt that prevention is better than cure. Rather than investing so much money in gambling, what if another method is created to control it instead?

I am of the opinion that are still ways of controlling gamblers from getting addicted, the operators might not be interested because this is where they make money from but the government could at least make a rule that prevents this addiction rather than creating hospitals that after treating for a short period, gamblers end up going back to their old ways.
