Don't forget to bookmark it. You can also check its domain registration date, if that exchange or platform site was already like running for years already.
Try this site to look for it: https://lookup.icann.org/lookup
Be cautious out there, hodlers.
I was almost a victim of some kind of scheme where in they redirect you to a fake MEW site, and wanting you to log your wallet into their site along with your private keys.

Phishing site is the basic thing to avoid in cryptocurrency because there are many scammers who want your coins.
As long we are very careful to check every time we visit any website, we will not be phished, and always double and triple check the link or url.
It is good for you and others.  We need to be more aware of small things that can have a big impact.  Phishing sites are one of them.  With vigilance, we will be safe and avoid scammers.
Scammers have many ways to get what they want.  I'm used to not joining airdrop and not visiting sites that are usually sent via spam email.
Yes often we get emails and often we find sites on them. Sometimes we feel curious and finally open the site, I think this is something that often happens to all of us. When we feel that we need to open it, we will open the site and before we realize it is a phishing site. For now we better be careful with the sites that are submitted, don't be too curious about these sites.

Yes so many people are working in this now a day people use to spread such sites which gives people new hope about getting fast profit so we should not open those sites and make your own research about having profited by only real sites. Those who are greedy and want to become rich faster will get scammed by them.

Since I learnt through the hard way during the early days of myetherwallet that phishing was rampant, I now know better that the best way to access project websites with assurance is via coinmarketcap.com

This has been a very old method through which people's online wallets and exchange wallet were asked. I never thought anyone in cryptocurrency world will still fall for it. I think is now very pertinent that one knows the websites he or she want to visit offhand before inputting or creating a password on them.

For wallet websites, bookmarking the main page of the wallet site and using the offline version of the online wallets can save the user's time.
The mobile apps also have the inside browser which is targeted by the scammers, the real authentic email copies are used for tracking the users.
Even 5 people from 100 people fall to this trap, it is enough for scammers to continue their dishonest behavior.

Well, that will be too obvious at first glance because they will already ask you for deposit to claim your reward from them. With that advertising strategy, it was already suspicious because why would you have to exert such effort depositing into their site to claim reward for an instant? We should be mindful of taking care of the information we share online due to the fact that there are lots of scam websites that share the same strategy. It is very relevant to educate everyone about taking care of their information specially their online wallets not to share to a suspicious site and to a stranger one. I know we might be all desperate to earn big but nothing can be earned that easy. It is very important that we spread awareness here in the forum so that newbies in this space will be aware not to get victimized by this strategies so that they will continue and enjoy their journey within the crypto space.

Phishing sites is too easy to determine unless the one who click that link and redirected on the phishing site dont even have a small time checking the url are the ones who will get thier account hacked easily.

Investor was really do it always. I also experience greediness too when I earn a lot. I think when there are such knowledge of every bitcoiners they could always safe from scammers even they are greedy. But it was impossible because newbies want to earn as fast as they can even they lack of knowledge.

I no longer wonder why so many have fallen victim to fraud like this, even fraud like this has happened many times, but the number of victims is increasing. Big prizes are always hunted without first researching a project that is being run. When they asked for money from the start, the smell of a planned fraud had been detected. So be careful.

This is essentially for those who are new to the space, that they do not fall prey to cheap scams. The above ad seem to be very popular on facebook, a mimic, requesting you to fill the form and make some deposits to claim your rewards. That's is the scam part. The legit site is https://www.coinmama.com/ and NOT coinmama.com.ru. I am sure those who made deposit will not get anything  out of it as it obviously mimicking another popular site. Just be careful.
Any contrary opinion is welcome for discussion pls.

thank you for the information that you have told us all ... because don't let us here become victims of fraud from various applications that give free dollars  because before I was a victim of fraud, then from me I was very happy if someone wanted share information about fraud that often happens today, let's share information to avoid fraud.

As  a community then its just a normal thing for us to help out other people to be aware on possible scams that would be faced up specially to those noobs out there which are main target of these scams due to lack of knowledge and experience.

As a part of being a noob you should at least do really have the time to read up things for you to be aware and would avoid loss of money.Be wary on each actions you would made because it will surely cost you once you get scammed.

Having enough knowledge can help us to easily identify if the project can give us profit or it can take away our money. We should not just believe to their promises because promises are meant to be broken and we can become a victim of this kind of strategies by the scammers in the market who focusing the people who recently become aware to the cryptocurrencies.

I strongly agree with this warning because so many people have become victims of fraud by scammers through phishing sites. then we must be careful in opening the site to maintain the account and wallet that we have. lest we become further victims of fraud. because scammers will never stop to find ways to fool us.

Haha! old scam strategy, funny desperate people will still fall for this cheap scam. Why will anyone make deposit to get rewarded, if an airdrop can't give everything for free, forget about them. Bygone is bygone.

A fraud system like this is still widely used even though many people know it but the internet keeps increasing the presence of new people and it is always they are tempted to press an interesting thread even though it is a fraud or phishing site, it's good we have to keep broadcasting this warning to all people to be more careful

I do truthfully agree. We must not fall into such phishing sites specially for those newbies within the crypto space that are being taken advantage by some veterans or those that are already old into using cryptocurrency. We must always be aware and be observant so that we may not fall into such schemes because even those that are already staying long enough with crypto are also getting victimized. Always remember that there is no such short way on earning not just in cryptocurrency but as well as in real life. Also, keep in mind that as sites ask you for payment to be able to claim such promising reward, you can already consider it as a scam because if it is a real reward, then you must not pay for it. Such obvious schemes must be avoided for you not to be scammed by those sites and kinds of people.
