Well I heard back from him today. He said Innosilicon said they never heard of prominerz and that they had no orders from them for his miner. Nor did they have any orders in the other names this guy uses. He reported the fraud to the FTC, and the internet cyber crimes unit of the FBI IC3. He said hell be filing a local police report this week. He also said some other things that Im not at liberty to repeat on here. Looks like prominerz is a scam after all.

Talked to him last night. He said he is holding out on the police report because he heard back from a guy named Reto at Prominerz, and that they had cancelled his order and were waiting for Innosilicon to send confirmation and the refund. He said he had heard that from them before, but that was before Innosilicon made the announcement about refunds.
I will keep the board posted.

1st of all, WE ARE FUCKING LEGIT, like it or not, we have sold hundreds of miners, have hundreds of happy customers and its what we do, selling miners and hosting them, big or small clients.

2nd Things like in any business can go wrong, and when we are the ones who mistake, we take the shit and handle it, in the case of famous James, things are a bit more complicated though, they got complicated cause lets face something some of you might don't consider when writing here in the beautiful anonymity of the internet.

Mister James bought from us a G32-1800 in Spring, and asked us what would we do if the miner would have a delay or wouldn't come out. We told him that in this case there will be a refund, which is normal. YOU DON'T GET A MINER, YOU GET A REFUND for god sake, nobody wants to start a new life in a third world country with 10k. Unfortunately that miner had a major delay (Miners and Crypto People know that at the moment all deliveries are late from practically all batches) Innosilicon simply moved the release from August to October and then to January.

To make a comment on innosilicon, they are stupid, for real, they dont give a shit about resellers nor small customers, they absolutely care 0. So we placed the request of a cancellation for James already pretty early and when Innosilicon made their statement in October that they will give refunds cause of the delay, we again applied to get back the money for that order.

Now here is the thing and only smart people and people that are familiar with the market will understand. Wanna-be crypto's wont. So sorry if it ends here for your guys.

Resellers like us are fucking suffering these days. Its a real fuck up. We do this biz since 4 years and thsi year was simply catastrophic. Why? Cause Factories are announcing Miners they can't deliver, its something new, new in the way we experiencing it now. Delays are common, it can happen and most of us know it. But announcing miners collecting money and then schedule delivery as they want in this form, is completely new and THE REAL FRAUD here. There are millions of dollars as we speak right now on Chinese Accounts simply not being refunded and being used to develop machines that have been announced but never really were on the market. So this is what we know now, we did not know it when James purchased the miner that it would end up in a complete disaster, this is a complete new scenario in the market that big. The real disaster though is the way James acts even though its partially understandable. He is a customer, he feels we are responsible, we want to refund him but need to wait for the refund of innosilicon. Thats how it works and normally, till mid this year, all factories acted in a normal timeframe, life as a reseller was much easier.

Now here comes the problem. When you buy a miner from shops like us or others to be found on asicminervalue.com and you buy a batch, we do not have nor the miner, nor the direct purchase from the factory. Cause if the miner would be available from the factory, you would buy it there no? Right, they are not available anymore so chinese distributors resell their purchases (orders) to resellers like us. Has always been like that, has always worked (not only since last week) and that's the reason there is no order placed by PROMINERZ at innosilicon. So we need to tell those distributors to cancel James's order. We did that. Now we are waiting for the money from innosilicon to arrive.

Now since last week the situation changed drastically.

I understand when things aren't working out, people get desperate. But taking even this in consideration and writing reviews, accusing us of scam and or working with banks and being criminals, that is a bit too much. If something is wrong, you can always check the legal possibilities, act and put pressure by using the legal possibilities in your country or covered by international trade laws. Writing reviews publicly where you name us Scammers and threaten us with FBI, Police and probably in a next step with a personal visit of Donald Trump, we have to take action too. Every seller of whatever will understand what we are talking about. Writing reviews on that level, costs us money too, destroys our until now clean reputation and has consequences. To find a way out of this is only possible with lawyers cause paying back the client, having his uncontrollable written wrath online, is a no go, and that's where we stand now.

Sellers have rights too and it's not about taking advantage or keeping money, this matter got into a legal case by force and thank god we have laws in Switzerland and we don't live in a country where you go to jail just cause someone accuses you of something.

On a miner like this we earn about 4-7% and that's it. We don't become millionaires just cause we sell costly equipment, we are a normal mid size business that tries to make it easier for customers to buy miners from China. Cause buying from alibaba and other platforms is a risk, contains a risk still and that's why we exist.

We accept criticism and even handle accusations. If they are true and don't hurt us that way.

I made a purchase from Prominerz already, but when i try to access my account the website is blocking me and telling me that it recognizes me as a spam posting software.

I found the website using asicminervalue.com and always thought it was a trusted website. Hope for the best i guess.

Well I suppose you are reading other forums as well and do research and see that innosilicon hasn't refunded shit (maybe they did refund some russian big customers before getting into real troubles). So yeah, I asked James for patience, he reacted with accusations. At one point, well, we react too and emotions pop in. Obviously we are not holding back any money cause simply NO MONEY ARRIVED from Innosilicon. Having around 100 orders open with them how do you imagine a business handling that refund thing? Should we shit a million dollar to make everyone happy? No, we can't, we have to go and push for the refund and try our best, legal or non-legal to get that fucking money back. It's simple as that! As I mentioned before, we have proof we bought that miner. A bill, a transfer and thats called proof. Whatever is coming for us, whoever is asking where that money go, its not some hooker and a shady guy on the corner, its innosilcon or a innosilicon distributor.

Therefore well, whoever sees this simply sees the truth, we are not Apple, nore are we Amazon, not any million dollar company, we couple of guys that resell mining equipment, nothing else and we can't pay for the scammy chinese. Get it? Probably not.

My guy tells me Prominerz paid him back half of what he is owed.
half isn't all, and still doesn't justify how they responded to a paying customer who had received no product, or no money for months after he was told he would be refunded.

The correct response to a paying customer would have been. "I'm sorry sir but unfortunately we are only a drop shipper, and we do not have your money at this time. We did tell you we would refund it in the case it didn't ship, but we are at the mercy of the manufacturer. We should have stated that in the beginning to avoid any misunderstandings. We would appreciate it if you not call us a scam online because that really hurts are business model. We can provide proof that your money was sent to out wholesaler if that would help clear things up."

That is the correct response to a person that sends 10,000 grand up front no deposits. Not don't call me a scam, or I'll keep your money. WHAT KIND OF OKEEDOKE SH!T IS THAT? Now my guy has to call all of those authorities, and it's a lot of them to explain what's going on. I told him he should wait until he gets ALL of his money back before he withdraws his claim at his bank.

Good move Prominerz in getting that back to him, from what I read, he was on some real get em get em sh!t. Even was in direct communication with your bank. Glad things are working out and it should be a valuable lesson to both of you.

James is just one guy with a couple of friends trying to hurt us cause he is desperate, which again, is UNDERSTANDABLE, its an unbearable situation for everyone who ordered either a G32 or a Obelisk Miner. Innosilicon by the way, and this is what we all know in the mining reseller community (you know the ones that are here quite a while and not since yesterday) is acting on only their behalf and yes, I call them a Scam because they are a Scam. I mean are you really that stupid? If they haven't refund us the order from James, let me think, then they are a Scam right? Wait maybe it's too complicated. I repeat, James bought a miner, the miner is delayed, James wants to cancel, we cancel, Innosilocn ignores us, we push, James pushes, we push again, and mid october finally, Innosilicon releases the first statement in months that they accept refund requests. So here we go, we requested the cancellation on the same day and havent got a fucking dime from them since then. So who s the Scam Mike? Can you tell or you already too stuck in your "prominerz is the evil of the world"-story?

Well I suppose you are reading other forums as well and do research and see that innosilicon hasn't refunded shit (maybe they did refund some russian big customers before getting into real troubles). So yeah, I asked James for patience, he reacted with accusations. At one point, well, we react too and emotions pop in. Obviously we are not holding back any money cause simply NO MONEY ARRIVED from Innosilicon. Having around 100 orders open with them how do you imagine a business handling that refund thing? Should we shit a million dollar to make everyone happy? No, we can't, we have to go and push for the refund and try our best, legal or non-legal to get that fucking money back. It's simple as that! As I mentioned before, we have proof we bought that miner. A bill, a transfer and thats called proof. Whatever is coming for us, whoever is asking where that money go, its not some hooker and a shady guy on the corner, its innosilcon or a innosilicon distributor.

Therefore well, whoever sees this simply sees the truth, we are not Apple, nore are we Amazon, not any million dollar company, we couple of guys that resell mining equipment, nothing else and we can't pay for the scammy chinese. Get it? Probably not.

I told him not to trust these creeps. Sometimes lessons learned are pretty costly. People, you've been warned.

Side note. Innosilicon, that was some dirty ish you played using customer orders as a loan. At least you paid everyone back finally, but your business etiquette is just as bad as Prominerz.

What other news do you want to know about prominerz? Just read through the thread and know what kind of service they are. Basing on what happen. I would not trust them with any money and would instead look for a much more trustworthy alternative

Till now and since monday, they say: "your package is ready for pick-up by DHL"

Be careful dealing with them or if you feel you can't wait, then send them money you can afford to lose. Personally I wouldn't bother using their service. I would look for a much more trusted mining gear seller/reseller.

This is very suspicious because couriers are working as usual and the average pickup timing is 24 hours.
So if they got they would get package ready on the 18th, you would get the tracking number on that day or on the 19th. If you didn't get it it means they're lying and did not order a pickup at all.

Contact them tomorrow and say that if they are unable to deliver you'd like your money back.

It's pretty common for these hardware suppliers to sell products they don't have.

I got the DHL tracking on monday. But the parcel was just picked up by DHL today and on the way to France already.
All seems OK now.
I will update again when I will receive it, hopefully monday.

Edit:
I received my order from prominerz yesterday afternoon, so the order+delivery process took a bit less than a month.
Not too bad because of Chrismas, hollydays etc.. And not too good because it could have been slightly faster.
You need to have patience and manage your stress when you order this kind of harware... But Prominerz is legit and gave a good support.
I baught 2 Innosilicon A10 6 Gb 500Mh/s refurbished, but the good surprise is that one of them is almost new (from december 2020).
Both machines are running now with a total of 900+ Mh/s
A small disapointment about both PSU'S that were supposed to be new, but they are refurbished, and one is really uggly looking.
After all, I am a happy customer. You can buy from them but need to have lot of patience.
Personnally, I would avoid preorders, because if the product don't comes out, it will be complicated and long process to be refunded.

Hi I wish I had read some of these before I had placed an order with Prominerz.

Has anyone received a refund from these guys?  I had placed an order for an in-stock miner, but was told it was no longer in stock and I could opt for a refund.  I've requested the refund, but it's been dead silence since.  It's been about 10 days since I've last heard from them.  Their website seems to be a little funky lately, but I've tried emailing and using their online ticket system.  Not sure what else I can do at this point.
