The guy is so fast to delete our conversation in telegram and block me, I think he's been doing this for a long time and already victimized people.

He will introduce himself as the owner of a gambling site [forgot the name of the gambling site also) he will invite you to invest in his gambling site and make you a winner of their dice game, the catch is you will divide the pot and send him 50% of the winning pot.

Sounds interesting, I asked him that he send me Bitcoin so I can deposit and do what he says, he told me that many people have already scammed him doing that, but when I ask him how old is the site, he told me that the gambling site is old and trusted one urging me to deposit now, but I told him I would fall to this because the site has no traffic when checking on Alexa..

If I made a deposit I'm pretty sure he will block me.

The guy blocked me I wish I  made a screenshot I was waiting for him to prove that the site is legit.

So beware there are so many scammers lurking there and this is one of their methods.

Who would fall for this kind of old fashion style of scamming?it is very obvious that the man only wanted to take some crypto from you, maybe he change the design of scamming but almost same style as what the old school do.and being a legendary you are mature enough in this forum to be a victim of their sweet tongue.they have a sugar coated tongue that has been here for long time ago

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Every people are looking for easy money but sometimes I wonder why they want to scam although they have skill let say marketing , sales ,etc
Also, people already getting smarter every time to time so it's wasting their time to scam, IMO
Those that want to scam are not ready to pass through the pain of developing skills and they are not ready to stress themselves in doing what is worthwhile. I do believe that their major desired is to make money in a fast way taking advantage of those that did not know what their intentions are. My advice is for us to be careful and think before sending coins to anyone

That's their evil job. The sad note is that, we can't stop them and we can't also those people who wants quick profits without doing anything. That's their target and we can't deny that still a lot of people become their victims, I may think that they aren't still learning and they don't even realize what will happen later.

Yes, that is a reason that makes these people repeatedly victims of scams because they have never learned from mistakes just to make money fast, instead they want money fast but they never think for the umpteenth time about the risks that will actually make him lose money fast.

Once I was asked to "test" how web page works. Admin of the telegram channel asked me to buy Ripple via credit card for 10$ on a particular page, and promised to repay 10+2$ to my stake.com account. I found that very strange and blocked chat with that user.

This all started when I was in stake.com signature campaign. Steve asked in telegram channel who has got reddit accounts and formed a group of reddit account owners. Later new admin of that group asked if someone is "ready for a quick task".

Maybe this is just my paranoia, but I wouldn't risk my credit card number for 2$.

Oh, it's not new scheme  Smiley I already got like 3 or 4 same "offers" (every time different, new fresh domain), mostly as pm's of few gambling sites, or as pm's in Discord (never in Telegram tho). First time I saw this was like a year ago I think.

Nice share becasue not all forum members or individuals in the world of gambling have the ability to spot this out. Although, many ave done this with individuals and never succeed but those who fell for this type of scam are greedy types, greediness is the result of be scam. I have leaned not to be greedy when it come to gambling.

Telegram is the most used platform for scammers and they are getting those telegram names from bounty threads because people were posting all their personal details which might be sold to scammers and can be used to steal lot of money.

the people who are trying to scam will trying different kinds of way like this and we need to be aware after reading this type of awareness given from the affected people and we will definitely need to be careful in all the situation and we need to regulate this type of commitment in our life.

Scam modus would continue to pop out everytime the market tend to rise up.This is the time where it do sparks out their interest.Hence,

it isn't really new anymore because even on a traditional investment market, these kind of people do exist and only yourself awareness and
sensibility would protect you.

And with this channel, they can easily delete their profiles once caught. They will send you a pm, saying something about investments, high return, etc. but if you ignore them, you will find out later on that they already deleted their account. Experienced such situation many times. Don't trust those scammers and never deposit any money to them for the hope of getting your money tenfold. It never will. They will run away as soon as they received your money.

Most people use telegram to scam people. Do you really think a random person from the internet would come and offer you something really good without being sketchy? If offers are too good to be true, then there is something fishy. I am assuming he will tamper the bets to allow you to win in dice and then you will have to give him 50% of the winning pot? This means he is scamming other investors. High chances he just wanted to you deposit on his fake casino and would run away with your money. Anyone with a little bit of common sense would understand that this is just a form of scamming.

Okay that is new.
The idiot is risking his own website to be reported and that is why he need to do it fast.
Hope you did took the website name.
Tried checking your history when you checked it with Alexa?

We should really stop this before they can make a big mess out of telegram.
I have learned my lesson out there too. Just communicating with a telegram group of one exchange then a lot already pm'ed me.

Careful next time. Good thing you are already aware with this. Sadly, not all of us do.

We must sharpen our common sense here to avoid being scam by others greed people who only want to fool people.

It's dumb to trust strangers that came from nowhere with any amount of bitcoin you own. And don't be the one that's falling for their trap like every word they say, you are gullible enough to deposit that amount.

Don't let them dictate every single move that you have to do. Your money is at stake and they don't care on how much struggle you went through for those as long as you will fall for their trap. Don't be careless and don't be greedy when someone tells you will receive certain amount instead make it as a signal for scam.

Use skills properly means you have to work hard every day to achieve good results. Scam is a quick and easy money. It does not require you to grow your business, or risk investment. You just made attempt , another one, even 100. Few of them make you win - that's enough. Scammers always be there, waiting for someone to trust them.

Thank you for giving us a fair warning. I also got some message in my telegram, but I just totally ignore them. Being long in the game, and specially when the price of bitcoin is going up, lots of scammers will come up with every ways they think that they can scam people, but not me.

But for those newbies, let this be a lesson, "if it is too good to be true it probably isn't".
That’s true. Everyone wants to get rich from the latest bitcoin uptrend, so many new scammers, I see a lot of them also but being Familiar with stuffs like this I just ignore. No scammer would scam me of my hard earned Bitcoin, not in this very critical time.

Let them that have ears hear. Newbies, if the preposition is looking too good, run as far as you can, its scammers alert. I hope they get the message clear because I believe greed would still not allow them understand this but once the money is gone, they come back blabbing and putting blames on casino sites. I had a friend who lost a very huge amount of money to such similar incident. This is really rampart but avoidable for the wise.
