Well, another person who see bitcoin as an investment. But yes, there's nothing wrong with it. If he was able to triple his money, then good for him. If you really wanted to earn money, you have to risk. Everything about earning money risks after all, right? well, some people don't see the potential that bitcoin has and it has always been like this ever since bitcoin was listed on exchanges for trading and price was somewhere around $0.01. they have been selling their coins as soon as they got some profit like 3x like selling at $0.03 and got out completely.

Anyway, your brother seems very lucky. Not everyone here can afford to buy 1 bitcoin even if it is at $3k before. Trippled profits is a huge benefits. If I were at his shoes, I will do the same thing. I will not hodl it anymore and cash it out already. Two times or three times profits is enough. See the current price of btc? I wonder why you brother didn't sold his bitcoin early on 2017 when the price higher than now because if he really bought bitcoin at $3000 it was more than 2 years to hold however regarding the questions i was bought bitcoin on $9000 range and still hold my current bitcoin so it's not going to trippled if i sold my bitcoin with the current price

If I had a Penny for everyone that said that to me in the last couple of weeks, I would have been filthy rich by now. A lot of the people I introduced to Bitcoin had bought in at $3000+ and they all sold for a very good profit in the last week. They also have regrets that they did not buy more, but it is too late for that now. <They will just have to wait for the price to drop again and to buy low and to sell high>

I made more than 800% profit on some of the coins that I bought and sold in 2017 when the price was above $18 000, so I know it can happen. You should probably have invested too, I bought some when was still around 5k USD and sold them when it reached 7k USD due to financial needs. I bought again at 8k and now I am still holding. I think I would sell this when it'll reach around 16k. The only thing that people has is now cowardice and if they won't let it go, then it will be too late for them to ride the tide when it goes booming again.

Fortunately, I still hold bitcoin so far although I already some of my bitcoin and rebuy bitcoin back. I don't have regret to sell too early because I have some reason why I sold the bitcoin. I buy bitcoin at $3k and still hold the most amount of bitcoin because I see bitcoin situations now can increase higher more than the last year. i would atleast keep some of the money if it goes up more , that way he atleast earned some and is still in the game to collect more if it rises even more, he would realy kick him self it it goes to 20k in a couple of weeks lol

You regretted doing it. So I assume you now know what to do next time knowing how much your brother made. Just take note of the risks you're taking. While Bitcoin can 3x in no time, it can also crash 3x or even higher in no time.

Right, what we are experiencing now is not permanent it is might be high at the moment but it can go down big time as well, the market is very unpredictable. exactly this is the point of my brother when I ask him why doea he sell.all.of the btc held. He just told me.that being greedy will left you nothing so instead of waiting for more time for bitcoin to go high he did sell his bitcoin. He is now willing to invest again but for now and probably it will going to happen in the next bear market. That is not usual for all the people, there are still some people invested on Bitcoin when it was around 15k USD. if you check those people's situation they might not sold the Bitcoin for they have invested if there is any hard situation they might be sold the Bitcoins what they have.

Everyone should make up theirself when they will cash out.
I cashed out half of BTC when the price doubled. The rest I will hold until BTC goes much higher (> 30000$) or when I need some money.
