1. THE TEAM BEHIND THE PROJECT
2. THE SOFT CAP AND HARD CAP (HOW REASONABLE IS IT?)
3. HAVE THEY RAISED ANY FUNDS BEFORE COMING PUBLIC?
4. ARE THEY PLANNING AN ICO, STO, OR IEO? IF IEO, THEN ON WHAT EXCHANGE?
5. WHO IS THE BOUNTY MANAGER? WHAT IS HIS TRUST LEVEL ON BITCOINTALK? WHAT IS THE SUCCESS RATE OF THE CAMPAIGNS HE HAD MANAGED? AND SO ON.

I also always consider those five reasons at least.
Probably, you can add some ways to identify that the bounties are legit or not.
For bounty on IEO, I think we must consider what exchange it is, whether it is trusted or not, better for higher exchange level with promising trading volume.
Then, I will also consider the concept of the project promoted by the bounty, whether it is promising for long term holding or not (I never think of short term holding from bounty), with the real product to be used.
High allocation for signature especially will be very welcomed, and of course, limited participants will be very promising.
Moreover when we get the payment with the top coin such as BTC and ETH. It will be so legit for weekly payment

Good Day Everyone,

Well, I know a lot of bounty hunters are frustrated and worn out mostly because most of the projects which they'd spent their precious time promoting ended up being scam projects. But hey, its too late to give up at this time, trust me.

So here are the little tips which I personally apply before participating in any bounty campaign, though, of course, it takes time, I feel its worth it.

AND SO ON.

FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR OPINIONS BELOW, I MIGHT JUST LEARN A THING OR TWO

This is true. No 5 is highly underrated though. I do specific bounties and they come highly recommended based on project and team quality and bounty manager. I know some bounty managers that don't take shits projects and I know some that take all including scam bounties

Your points are very clear and perfect. Therefore we need to check their community activity because many projects have huge telegram members with zero activity, so it's matters.

I agree with the tips you gave, It's just that at the moment it's very difficult to get income from bounty even though all the tips you provide meet the criteria of bounty that I join, because after bounty is finished and the coin from bounty has been distributed to bounty hunter and the next is :
1. the coin is never listed in exchange
2. when the coin is listed in exchange, but the volume of the coin is very small and the price drops very far
3. the team is rarely active and never provides information about the progress of the project, so it is difficult to conclude that the project is scam or still running.

There are many bounties that are only at first glance. But when times goes on, we can expect that they will become successful. Many bounties are deceiving their allocated budget in bounty. As of now, I just join bounties that I know it will become successful because I read whitepapers and other info profoundly. I hope my campaign will become successful soon.

In my opinion, I will select the #5 item of the OP as the most important factor for me when selecting bounties. Once you know that bounty manager is a reputable one, then, all the other factors will automatically follow. Because such manager will only select good projects and make sure that his participants will get paid after the agreed period of bounty programs. You will find bounty managers that don't care about their participants. As long as they are getting paid, they will push thru their campaign even if they know that the project is a scam one.

Learn more about the project partners. Verify exactly which organizations are supported by the project, I think ieo is still a top priority

All points valid, and would like to add that don't hold to these tokens longer, as most of these bounty projects don't survive much.

That is actually a good pointers to remember. Not all bounties are actually worth our time. In fact most them are just worthless in the end. Its hard to choose the right bounty and it takes time because you have to make your own research about it. Reading their whitepaper and roadmap might also help you to decide whether to join or not. Check also if they have already a working product or not.

Most of the basics of identifying a good and solid bounty had already been stated and in my opinion, I would love to add the whitepaper. It is in the whitepaper that you get some fact about the project, how far they have gone, there target as a project, roadmap and lots more.

I dont agree with your points but even after i have participated in several signature campaigns, i have not gotten any payment which can be considered as successful.  I sometimes wonder why I even continue to do so.

because you enjoy and are comfortable in this forum. You are not alone if you feel like that, I also enjoy this forum as a means for me to find information from the crypto. do not use bounty as a tool to make money, because what you receive will not be enough. if someone pays a lot maybe it is a bonus.

Country of origin and team - who are these guys?
Raised funds and time limits. You don't want to spend a year here, right?
Bounty manager or team. Are they professionals? Are they doing their job properly?

even when we have analyzed it well, it also does not give the bounty a good end. sometimes there are parts that actually make us disappointed at the end. such as cutting allocations, and rules changes. it makes the bounty hunter like cheated.

Yup but that could only apply for those IEO offering but there are still some ICO's that doesn't involve IEO and they are creating their products efficiently though many of them just turned out being a scam we can't say that they are all a scam. To identify a good project better to contact their partners and try to verify or confirm the partnership of the said ICO. If they did not confirm for sure it is just another scam project.
Bounties have many aspects but if you finding here in bitcointalk make sure that the campaign manager is very trusted so that you have the assurance that the work that you've done will be paid on time.

Always look out the solid promise of the Bounty thread creator on the Bitcointalk site. Also, you have to follow the website and the project authenticity. Finally, check the payment duration of their commitment in the thread.

That's right. The things you say are indeed widely used by bounty hunters to start participating in them and what you say might help beginners to find out which projects are good to follow because most beginners only participate without knowing or analyzing them first and I just add to read the whitepaper.

Yeah, you really have to read the whitepaper. You have to understand what kind of project you are promoting. Anyway, bounty managers matters for me. I always background check the managers that handle that project.

It is necessary to adhere to all of the above points, but even a very detailed analysis will not give you 100% guarantee against fraud, bounty is casino.

I agree with your list here. Especially the team behind the project, the funds they have been raised (if any) and especially the bounty manager and his reliability is very important. On the other hand it’s better if the payments in Btc or Eth. Lately it’s difficult to find to get paid well enough but at least there are still some decent bounty campaigns.

At the moment, if you go to the bounty only to those bounty managers who have long been tested in this market , and then do not expect a lot of money.
