In my opinion there are three main things that determine a quality level of any project. The first one is the product development level and their core idea. The second one, are the team members and the devs. The last but not least, is their marketing plan (ICO, IEO, Bounty, Trading competitions, social media).

Since the coins are not yet listed, there is no way to predict whether participating in a particular bounty is going to be profitable for the participants or not. One option we have is to limit the participation to those bounties which are being managed by reputable managers such as yahoo62278. On the other hand, if a bounty is being managed by some noob or a junior member, then it is a big red flag.
As stated reputed managers involvement also defines the worth of the project. As stated some projects run bounties through their own accounts which were low ranked. For the same we cannot red flag them, in this case we need to go through and find its trust and the team behind. If it is active and has got better plans surely it can be understood going through the Whitepaper.

A big and profitable bounty can first be discovered through a good project. Whoever can research a good project, has already solved the first stage of identifying it. You should then try to see how much the team will respond positively to bounty hunters at the end of the project. The bounty manager you want to work with is also important.

Thats the only factor am relying on now, have had different disappointments even with my research on project and their bounties. Some managers have this track record of getting a reliable project that can at least get the coin listed on exchanges. These managers don't necessarily run a campaign because they need to, they wait for good ones no matter how long it takes and they are higher ranked members here.

Look from the root of it. The project itself, the solution they will give to an existing problem using cryptocurrency applying new technology probably blockchain and having a future plan and future solutions to non existing and probably future problem or future threat.

Also look to the total allocation of the bounty and look if the allocation to every bounties are reasonable enough to join.

Identification of good and solid bounties don't come easy, its really stressful and demands time. To determine such bounties, you have got to research deep into the team and their social media profiles, the investors behind the project, the project in general with its mission and at the same time ignoring ICO websites rating and focusing on your own research is important in identifying good and solid bounties.

By identifying a good bounty campaign to joined is a function of a good team, base on what is written on the whitepaper, because they are the one control the project fund, Therefore, every body need to participate on his/her own given task for a success of the project.

We all do these things listed by the original poster. It is just so difficult to read the minds of the devs. They can decide to change their minds about rewarding hunters in the blink of an eye and there is nothing anyone can do about it

Good Day Everyone,

Well, I know a lot of bounty hunters are frustrated and worn out mostly because most of the projects which they'd spent their precious time promoting ended up being scam projects. But hey, its too late to give up at this time, trust me.

So here are the little tips which I personally apply before participating in any bounty campaign, though, of course, it takes time, I feel its worth it.

1. THE TEAM BEHIND THE PROJECT
2. THE SOFT CAP AND HARD CAP (HOW REASONABLE IS IT?)
3. HAVE THEY RAISED ANY FUNDS BEFORE COMING PUBLIC?
4. ARE THEY PLANNING AN ICO, STO, OR IEO? IF IEO, THEN ON WHAT EXCHANGE?
5. WHO IS THE BOUNTY MANAGER? WHAT IS HIS TRUST LEVEL ON BITCOINTALK? WHAT IS THE SUCCESS RATE OF THE CAMPAIGNS HE HAD MANAGED? AND SO ON.

FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR OPINIONS BELOW, I MIGHT JUST LEARN A THING OR TWO

The tips youve mentioned helps a lot especially me to understand good project, but based on my experienced for 2yrs doing bounties, i experienced a lot of supposed to be good project with big amount of raised money, and a good team and a good project goal, but ended up nothing, one thing i realized this time, is the number of tokens for circulation of the total amount of tokens, the higher the number the lesser the value and the project is going to be dead, what i am trying to emphasize is that, the lower the number the better the value and the better the management. Hope it helps.

Absolutly i agree with you. Now days there is lot of scam project try to fool people. And bounty hunters don't get paid there payment because of scam and dishonest projects. Those points are really use able to find a good project. Also i also want to add about the project ideas, meaningful with paper, a good website and active social media.

I always research bounty manager first. Because a good bounty manager has already done the necessary research before starting that campaign. Then I searching the team members of that project and reading the whitepaper. Reading Whitepaper may take some time, but after reading, you learn what you need to know about that project. And that's why I think whitepaper is an important criterion to read before joining bounty campaigns.

My definition in a good and solid bounty are they will pay btc or eth to bounty Hunters,Limit the participants in bounty to secure the benefits of the first comers who apply in the project and lastly its gives the investors good benefits also in back. I like the way the bounty runs like that because they are concern and giving rewards to the promotes which is the bounty Hunters, and not just like other bounty that pays shitcoins and not listing in good exchange and end up with worthless and disappointment.

additional from me, to get a good bounty there must be escrow and payment of bounty hunters with BTC or ETH not with their tokens.
and who clearly found a bounty like this is very rare nowadays.
If you will be able to find that who's escrowing the rewards you are more than secure promoting the projects and have a good amount of rewards after finishing the the campaigns, but like what you have said it's too hard now or there's none for a while who's offering this type of bounties that have a escrow funds for both btc and eth.
Now there are many such campaigns, but it is very difficult to take part in them. As a rule, if you do not have time to register on the first day, then all the places are occupied

There should do some research before join bounties but is also a risk even if check before because no one can guarantee that the price of a coin will grow or will stay low after reach exchange.
For me it is really hard to find a solid bounties right now but i think the best way to identify a good bounty is to check if the project is good and if there telegram community is strong, and off course if the bounty has a trusted manager for sure the bounty is good.

Good project, telegram with strong community  don't guarantee anything if the bounty will be succesfull. I ever heard if there was the dev sellinf their telegroup chat, what can yoi expect from that?
Also, trusted manager doesn't manage altcoin bounty campaign nowadays

everything you say on the topic is completely correct, but even though all of that has been fulfilled, there are still gaps for the project scam, because that is human nature that is always greedy if there is a chance

I've trusted bountyhive for quite a long time. it's good when having a platform that chose everything for you, don't even have to report weekly
and most important: most of the bounties on that are legit

Grin For me, completely different projects today are attractive. And remember there is no way to determine a quality project that will bring investment. Even with a long experience, we are constantly mistaken.
