i agree ieo is manipulated by some exchange and everyone need to be aware on it. there are some accusation about idax right now by different project that make ieo in there exchange. cryptomarketads group say idax manipulate the trading to lure user to invest and its quite hard to trust other exchange now because of that.

now that the IEO has replaced ICO as the main initialization in coins, we know for sure if now ICO is very attached to the name scam project.
however, we also forget that the IEO also has negative things that are still very hidden, we can see that the Bittrex IEOs almost all failed and now Bittrex is a less interesting exchange because of the IEO failure.
I think the ICO and IEO have the same percentage.

You should not participate in IDAX IEO's as some projects are having bad experienced. Some projects are calling Idax scam and it's not only one project but 9 of them are having fraud accusation on Idax. As per one of the project dev, Idax manipulated the token sale and their IEO fees are now in jeopardy not being refunded.

that is the way they manipulate exchanges so that investors are interested, be careful when investing if they don't want to lose and we know a lot of news circulating about cheating

Just find a good exchange and this is it. Unfortunately, it does not matter at all how good the project is, because if the IEO is held by Binance, every single token is going to be paid. Take part in IEOs on top 5 exchanges, and you won't manage loses at all.

That's the way it should be, join the IEO in the top 5 exchanges or join in Binance specifically but the hard part in doing so is the process. You have to hold a good amount of BNB before having a chance to got a ticket. Again, sure money if you join but in joining you've got to be lucky to have that ticket, it's like lottery again.

The one that lie about collected funds is Latoken exchange . As i did ask them does the Collected funds bar gets updated automatically and they did answer that they configure it based on devs what they tell them , funny isnt it ? Not sure about other exchanges , but i don't believe Binance or Kucoin lie , as they are really trustable exchanges

Regarding the Binance, I would not be so sure, recently my belief in this exchange has disappeared, for some coins, I see fake orders and fake volumes. So regarding the Binance, I would be very careful. And Latoken is a long-known scam collector.

A rule of thumb goes like this: If you have any doubts about the project or its team's actions you should not invest. There are many other ways to invest you don't have to risk your money with projects that aren't fully transparent.

Investing in real and safe projects is a risk in itself because they can lose value. Investing in things you have doubts about is taking additional risk.

So i think it must be better to stick only with top exchanges which are good for IEO specially binance, but we could not say the future of this exchanges hence they are all private companies.

Being aware and careful is a must when going to participate on IEO.  Choose IEO with great and promising projects,  trusted exchange and middle top exchange,  more than one exchange is good enough. Analyse also the exchange on coinmarketcap. It will really help us to determine whether it may be legit or not.

I just saw another problem with the IEO.
this happened with the IDAX.PRO and with the team of cryptomarketads.
Not there are some fire in the community due to problem with idax team.

Don't think that you can easily gain some profit from investing your money in IEO project. I've did that, and it did not always make me some profit.  But if IEO price pair with BTC or ETH is going down now, maybe it's because BTC and ETH prices are still raise. So it's not scam at all.

This is really one of the major reasons crypto is finding it difficult to reach mass adoption. Exchanges are faking IEO prices which is deceiving a lot of investors out there. I think investors should research as stated more on the exchanges itself as to that of the project.

Investing in cryptocurrency has its own risk associated with it. In as much that IEO is currently the trending option to invest in crypto projects, you as an investor are in charge of your own safety. Its high time people spend some time to study and read about projects before they invest in them.

I think even for binance IEOs correction for bnb is coming. I am waiting huge dump of bnb in a short  term period. It is insane! 6 month without even a small correction!

Don't think any exchange would ever provide 100% right information of their business...it like walking on the sharp knife

every exchange has their own dark side. what we can do is choose the least evil among them. after all, they are set-up to do business, and the bottomline of every business is the profit that they can gain.
but once they are already doing good with their business, they can now focus in taking care of their reputation. thats how i am looking at bnb. they have the luxury to reject crap projects because they dont need that in their launchpad.
and so these small projects will go to other exchanges that have loose regulations with their ieo...

 IDAX scammed several IEOs already. After Binance, I think Kucoin, Huobi Prime and gateio are good and honest. Otherwise, I will not go any other exchange! to buy IEO tokens. Scammers are everywhere, after ICO, IEO trend was very positive for every investor. But scammers are gathering here. Many unknown exchanges are bringing IEOs, even brand new exchanges created a different page for their IEO launchpad! So, it is time to be aware of IEO scammers. All these things will be only helpful for the Binance exchange.

One has to be very careful these days, scammers will want to hijack anything that seems to be paying to scam people off their money.
If the ieo isn't on binance and few reputable exchanges, I will pass.

Okay, you miss the boat: now even the smallest exchanges are running IEOs. This is just a new form of ICO, do not take this phenomenon as something... progressive. Not! This is just another way to collect money.
