I did not see any threads related to SUMO WRESTLING and I have been seeing that SUMO WRESTLING is a good sport. Every players are eager to win and the results could.be predictable unless those who had made some fights already and becoming a veteran. Yet, they too still lose.

The sports has lots of excitement especially that the players had different approach, styles, technique and ability. The better also strategy that a player will make the better chance of winning the match.

Does anyone here do like or entertain SUMO WRESTLING?
Can we integrate it to blockchain and betting platforms?

Sumo wrestling is entertaining for sure,but it's not,should I say,"gambling-friendly".The best sumo players usually always win and this makes it very predictable.As we all know,sports that are very predictable can't be used for gambling,because the bookies will lose money,most of the time.

I was once in Tokyo many years ago and attended a SUMO WRESTLING at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
I wish I could find these pictures but I have seen some sporting events in my years of traveling and the way the fans got behind these SUMOs was incredible

I do watched some games but for me it is not.

I haven't finished watching even a single match of Sumo Wrestling. I don't know. I think I just find it boring maybe because I'm not really a fan. So to answer the poll, my answer is a "no". I love watching Sumo wrestling not only entertaining but also fascinating in a sense the protagonist is having the same body weight, they are heavy in weight but very agile, it's not a very brutal sport but full of action, no wonder it is Japan's national sports it's a sport with a lot of discipline.

To be honest I don't really think that people would get hooked at it,
There are only a few people who would enjoy it and I don't think that other nation would be fan of it.
It could be entertaining but most people would prefer something like MMA fights when it comes to gambling.

Well, I'm not amazed in Sumo wrestling but appreciated how the game works. I think those Asian people from the SEA will like it because some of them, it's part of their culture.

There's a thrill if the game becomes intense, both players are good and strong but that's all, no other twist. So maybe that's the reason why I don't like this kind of game.

Thus, if you want to start Sumo betting site, it will have some hurdle: (1) Global challenge: you have to "educate" non-Japanese gamblers about Sumo, or (2) Local challenge: You have to translate your website into the Japanese language.

sumo wrestling is still a kind of wrestling and there are many people that loves to watch wrestling but summo is verry popular on china and japan or other asian countries  and i think they do integrate it with gambling  .

Im pretty sure that Japanese people will appreciate this game since this is their one of the greatest tradition in fighting. If only users here will come to watch every sumo wretlstling tournament then pretty sure that there will be a change on how one will see a good sports a one historic aports in Japan. Well, the local betting market for Sumo wrestling is high enough. I remember watching a documentary about the millionaires who got rich by betting on Sumo wrestlers. Maybe if local betting sites target the sport, people can bet on it but I don't see that happening due to gambling restrictions in those countries.

Indeed. Even if it's seen as a traditional Japanese art, there are still gambling involved, as with any sports. I don't know how strict the Japanese are when it comes to gambling regulation but if someone's going to make a gambling platform for sumo matches, it's definitely gonna be Japanese. Nah, SEA seem to be more a boxing people, especially Filipinos and Thais, with the latter having their own traditional boxing sport.

I've been at Sumo Wrestling events in the past and let me tell you that its actually a once in a life time experience. I'm not a local resident otherwise I'd go everyday. provided I could afford to. Those men, man! they were huge! And I guess that is why people go to see these events. Its a curiosity, a niche and people go there to be amazed more than anything.

And dude its the japanese, they don't like to talk or engage much with other people. Explaining japanese people or their culture is hard for anyone like me. as far as integration into Blockchain is considered. I don't recall seeing it anywhere relevant.

It's not as interesting as MMA but can be very entertaining for someone who is new to the culture. The size of the fighters can make a big impression on its own.
The fights are not something I would pay for but the whole dance and preparation and the way it is judged is very nice.

I feel the same. It's more of a spectacle than a sport.
