this year there are a lot of new bounty managers and it seems like some old bounty managers are no longer bounty managers (maybe pension) and I see some are proven to be cheating by manipulating the rewards in the spreadsheet, on the other hand some gift errors are pure the project because it deliberately did not pay the appropriate reward bounty.

I keep saying this, most bounty managers are total cheats but there are real ones out there who work according to their rules and do not cross line themselves. Some managers are so unprofessional to the extent that some can even change bounty rules in the last week of a bounty that has been running for months. This is deceitful and abuse to hunters. It makes hunters seem to be like some beggars with nothing to depend on and must be stopped.

Well, abuse is a pretty powerful word.
It's not like you were forced to do the bounty and then they kept you and abused you.
You could have stopped anytime.
Not only is it important to pick the right ICO, the right bounty, the right bounty program, you also need to closely monitor its progress.
It amazes me that people sign up for bounties and never check in on it until its over.

You can ususally tell if a bounty is gonna go bad within a couple weeks.
You can look at growth of their social media presence, how much funds they have made, openness of the devs, etc.
If it looks like it is going nowhere then just bail out.
Then you will never be in the position for them to take advantage of you.

Some may think that changing the rules of a bounty in the end of it is abusive, well for me it is a way of fraud project. Why they would have to change rules? and at the end? why not at the beginning? I treally think this is just another way so that several of the bounty hunters may not receive they payments or rewards.

It's clearly an abuse but if that is the decision of the team then bounty managers are oblige to follow since they are the ones paying for the hunters. That's why we are urging everyone to just follow bounty managers who are reputable on this forum because they can report to the administrator if something like this happen.

right. I'm really upset with this. projects always say that we don't need KYC to receive a token. but then, when the campaign was completed, they changed again and wanted us to provide KYC because the government needed our certificate to be legitimate in distributing tokens.
This is absurd or the team is really lack of expertise in understanding the law.

Much as we would want to go back to the golden years of bounty hunting, we cannot require them to comply as we want. Right now, we can always read on the bounty rules that the team has the right to change rules at any moment they deem necessary. Although this is obviously a rule to simply back up whatever malevolent plan they have in the very beginning, the forum does not seem to have a rule against this. So, the best that we can do for now is to choose the best choice out there.

If that happens to you once then just stop following such bounty manager ,their are few bounty managers that are so deceitful especially KYC implementation after bounty ends and from the start it was 'No KYC'.

The most popular one is KYC implementation, the rules was no KYC and when bounty comes to an end they will force you to drop your Identification

A good Bounty Manager will post the rules in thread correctly, and they will not edit the post by reporting the rules because of the request from the development team, I still believe that many bounties do not deal with KYC but the project is a success

Definitely, it is, they will give acceptable rules so they can get a lot of bounty hunters to promote their project, but after the bounty campaign, they will change rules, as if they do not want to give bounty hunters their shares, look what happened to Desico bounty hunters, they have not received their rewards.

That's a total scam. There are some terms stated and both the parties are agreed to follow the term and if one party doesn't, that's a scam.
But we should also properly read the terms before making a judgement. People mostly gets excited by the title of the bounty and jump in without reading the complete terms.

We have aonther solution just like we can try to use or at least make the bounty managers to use the middle manwho act to hold the funds. Remember the managers just try to follow all of orders that created by the team because the amount is holding by the team.

Not much else, but very much. Even each project has its own Manager and all provisions can even be changed at any time without anyone noticing. I think many old managers retired. And inevitably we have to participate in the new manager. If you don't want to not participate.

So we must ask project management for not committing such type of act. Bounty manager may play a small role in this regard.

The concern is that the bounty manager has the full right to change the rules in the bounty campaign. I think changing the rules at the end of period as long we can handle it, I thought is not a problem because sometimes its happen to avoid fraud that occurred in bounty campaigns
