Exactly, there are only 288k total coins so it's not like dodge or something where you get thousands and thousands. It just means your 0.1 is worth something.

UNO has a similar amount of coins.
At it's peak it was worth approx 0.03 btc
The IPO priced Roto at 0.03 btc
The initial scarcity might mean it is priced higher, will be interesting to see what happens once it hits the exchanges.

After the nightmare of compiling in Ubuntu:
Says "Error loading wallet.dat: Wallet corrupted".
"sni-qt/6764" WARN 10:42:22.152 void StatusNotifierItemFactory::connectToSnw() Invalid interface to SNW_SERVICE
Of course I removed the ~/.rotocoin folder tones of times.
Any idea??

They updated the git repo, I tried compiling in Ubuntu 13.10 and worked fine out-of-the-box, they also removed the troll splash screen haha https://github.com/rotocoin/rotocoinIf you still have problems check your build environment, in ubuntu 13.10 I have: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/doc/build-unix.mdSpecially I added the bitcoin ppa ( https://launchpad.net/~bitcoin/+archive/bitcoin ) to install libdb4.8-dev and libdb4.8++-dev because version 5.1 has a known problem with binary wallet compatibility. But we wait for 2hrs WTF is there is even no pool , no source code when I waited for 2hrs at 1:00AM! Only some windows miners can solo within the first minute and get a large reward. (someone solo 3blocks (6coins) in 2minutes.) When I got up this morning, I tried to mine some coins. It said that I can mine 0.0X coin per day. Say goodbye to the epic joke. |
