it all depends on what you called a shitcoin. some projects are after the fortune; waiting for a bull run to hit the market. a good coin with a prospect never wait for market movement and will never depends on how it dumps. the project will always stand no matter the market condition. long term or short term.

The presence of a working product is the key to the success of the project. I believe that if the team is working on their product, the price of their coins will increase sooner or later. If this does not happen, then the project does not work so well and such a coin doesnt matter.

Most investors have known and understood that when the new coin listed on an exchange, the price will be also down, never be higher than ICO price.
That is why most of them are not worried about it.
Lower price or down price doesn't mean that the coin will be a shit coin. If the coin really brings very interesting and promising features and products, believe that two years later, this will be a very great coin with a high price.

The coin will be a good project if they have a good vision, good products and good communities. They become a shit coin because the products is nowhere to be found or They have communites with a lot of member (hundreds or thousands members), but only ten people who active in the communties.

Considering a low price coin as shit coin is a foolish thing. Every project growth is related with the product and if the product will be in demand , the price of that coin will automatically goes high. Judging any coin with their initial price is not a good thing.

as we know now, many new coins listed on exchange and the price immediately down very much, so many investors are disappointed and regret having invested in coin because coin have become shit coin even though the project and product of coin are still running, but will one day the price of coin can increase very high and even exceed the ICO price if the project and product is real and useful in the future or still does not affect for the price of coin and coin still become shit coin ?
A shitcoin is a shitcoin because it does not have any purpose or use at all. Neither is the project even functioning or moving forward according to their roadmap. The developers are even gone and there is no product released. They have no active marketing and partners. These make a shitcoin a shitcoin. But if they have a useful product, great development team, fulfilled roadmap, existing partners, and so on, even if their value is way lower than the ICO, their coin is not a shitcoin. |

You can't call it a shitcoin if the project is still working and they have a product, you call it shitcoin when there is no development going on with the project and thus looks abandoned where there is no future for it to come and is just waiting to become dust. |

Not many coins can go back to the top and maybe more people are attracted to new coins. I think the current price of Bitcoin is rising very high. But there are still many old altcoins that have not climbed. But we also have to stay patient because I am also sure if this old coin will be re-inflated soon.

If the project is going to be a good one to invest in, I think it shouldn't start with shit coin. Sincerely, many investors will be discouraged to invest and will rather hold their money. The problem is that there are still literally thousands of worthless alts out there which need to see more consolidation of developers, investors and communities. Quality is key right now!
Perhaps it would be better for useless projects to simply leave the cryptocurrency market, because, due to the large number of such projects, it is difficult to find and study a really promising project. Thanks to a long bear trend, the market has cleared of useless projects, but I think that there are still too many of them. |

There is no direct relationship between a shit coin and real project, any project would have passed the test and crossed the scrutiny before it should be tagged real and not shit. However a lot of persons tag shit coins as those that their prices have tanked but that is not the criteria, tron dumped very huge after the 2017 bull season, it does mean it is a shit coin, shit coins are those that do not have any user cases, no whitepaper or very scanty, shady developers, on lower exchanges and often pass through as pumps and dumps and are ephemeral

overall the market has experienced a very steep decline. I think this is a cycle and an accident and correction. bitcoin is very binding and this affects other crypto. and for the altcoins you have you should try to review and try to find new information. and if the project is not running it should be forgotten and try to find something else that can bring profit. |

I don't really know what do you mean by shitcoin. If you mean the decreasing of coins value once its listed in the market, I think that is quite normal specially in a newly released coin. A good project with a working product is a good reinforcement for the coin to increase its value but a new coin in the market will always have a cheap value in the beginning. Just give it time and let the product works. |
