I did not expect Juventus Turin to lose the game yesterday. Pretty unexpected, but Olympique Lyon really played very well. Nevertheless Juventus Turin shoud have gotten at least one penalty. The other game yesterday wasn't really that exciting, Manchester City won and that was well deserved. Real Madrid really need some new players, their squad doesn't look well balanced and please where are their superstars? Since Ronaldo is gone they do not shine anymore.

after two days of CL, today is europa league, slightly weaker clubs, but interesting competition, for me most interesting tonight will be:

FC Porto - Bayer Leverkusen, first match is 1:2, think that Leverkusen will go through
Ajax - Getafe, Getafe has two goal margin from Spain, will go through
Benfica - Shakhtar Donetsk, one more in Portugal, same first match result, think that Benfica will knock-out Shakhtar
Celtic - FC Copenhagen, draw in Denmark, and Celtic should go through
Manchester Utd - Club Brugge KV, draw in Belgium, Manchester will make it next round for sure
Salzburg - Eintracht Frankfurt, debacle in first match 4:1 for Eintracht, but i think that Salzburg still has some chances

Looks like this match will be more exciting to watch what you say is true that Manchester United will qualify for the next round and now play in front of his own fans so have a strong determination for the victory maybe the score will not be great in this match and only 1-0 for manchester.

I think that the only games here which I doubt your prediction is the Porto game and Ajax game.Both these teams have produced good football when they have been in these situations that they needed to win and even with more than one goal difference.I expect that Ajax game to be the most interesting of all games to watch on Tv.

Ajax has been left behind by 2 goals by Getafe in the first leg and tonight's determination is it possible that Ajax will try to reverse the situation so that it wins to the next round?
While Getafe is currently in good standing at LaLiga and is already in position 5 of course the game with Ajax they will try to maintain it to pass.
I think this is a match that needs to be watched.

@watergold yeah I'd probably have watched Ajax Getafe (and they won me a nice parlay last week) if I didn't have to watch Brugge beat United (they got Mignolet who actually assisted the last goal in the draw, so I know he's fired up!). Game at OT, so it's got to be live on my TV tonight... though I also wouldn't mind watching Celtic/Copenhagen, who're also finely balanced at 1-1.

Anyone else think it strange that the CL dropouts aren't doing so well, though we could have foreseen it?

No one expected that because there is a huge difference in the dynamic of those teams.
The lose of Juventus is not a big deal. It is just 1 goal difference and Juventus has the quality as a team and as players individually to win this game with over 2 goals difference.

I think that today games are a big opportunity to make some extra money by betting on the Europa League games.I will bet on Manchester United and Celtic to win their games.I see these teams much better compared against the team that will play against them and another factor that convinces me is that they will play at their home fields.

Manchester parlayed together with Celtic does not make very much money actually, in fact you are probably better off with big money bet to bet for x2 in Manchester or Celtic.

I mean, your parlay will probably win for sure, but the odds is not good value for me at all. Brugge is a confident team and United are,,, United.

There are a lot of European league matches today so I'm confused which one to watch while I also want to see other matches.
I glance at Manchester United vs Club Brugge, it looks like this match will be more of an impression of attacking each other because in the first leg they got the same goal so tonight it is a decision for those who are better in this European league.

Yeah, there is a lot of games today and I still haven't decided which games I'm going to watch. And unfortunately, all best matches will be played later this eveneing, there isn't something very exciting on early slot. I'm goingto bet on Ajax win today, but I doubt they will win enough to reach next round. Porto - Bayer and Benfica - Shakhtar should be very interesting games. Iwill back Porto tonight, and aslo I think that Shakhtar will reach next round after win on first leg 2:1. I will skip MU -Brugge game. United are favorites, but they are too inconsistent and I lost too much money betting on them and I don't trust in them anymore .

Haha. They shouldn't get ahead of themselves. There's still a long way to go for the title race.  We still have the likes of Basel, Manchester United,  Bayern Leverkusen and even Inter Milan. By the way, Espanyol is now leading thanks to a penalty.  5-2 on aggregates to Wolves. I don't see Espanyol making a comeback today. So it's safe to say that Espanyol is through to the next round.

I'm afraid your friend went to watch Wolves lose today, wolves won in the first game in an overwhelming way, it was more than clear that they would go to Spain just to defend and attack less, and probably with this strategy of defending they would lose the game by at least 1 - 0 and move on to another stage. currently this:

this is definitely a big surprise for me, i am a bettor of the portuguese league because my main language is portuguese and i follow the portuguese league a lot and seeing Porto losing in this way makes me think that the portuguese teams are very weak in relation to other teams of the europe. have times that the Porto was a great team, especially when jose mourinho was the Porto coach.

The game I was most curious about the night was Man Utd.

I did a ticket today and I lost on 1 corner at Sporting Lisabona ...I'm on a losing streak for 2 weeks now and I think its time to change sports and go back to NBA and NHL as in football even if is my sport king, lately I can't win...and to be honest in Europa League I barely win something. I do hope tho that Sevilla will get out from the Europa League and CFR Cluj will go further alongside with United and Celtic.

seems that Basaksehir will go through into next round, goal in last minute by Edin Visca from penalty spot, could not say that i expected that, Porto is already out, so Benfica is only Portugal team that have a chance to go through

I watched a good deal of Porto vs. Leverkusen game and I must say that i was really disappointed with Porto presentation. I expected them to bring the game to Leverkusen and make it tough contest but Germans just were a much better team throughout both games. Their win never came into question.

It seams Portugese football is in big decline this year, all clubs out of CL and now most of them out of EL as well.

Look like today Ajax going out of Europa League as they was already two goals behind and now they are 1 - 1 first half already ends if they can do two more goals then this match will be in extra time otherwise its all about Getafe who done really good job at home and now in away match.

I've been backing them all season, actually. Just can't find good lines on the outright Europa League winner, but I'm sure now they've progressed to the Last 16, once all these rounds end, we'll get a bookie with good lines. United are going to be favourites to progress now theyé 3-0 up against Brugge, but Inter dropping in makes them a really strong contender, and then we've still got Salzburg probably? I don't see Roma in it this time around.
