Resurrecting this topic from the shadows since the games will resume next week.
Before the pause is different than after the resume. Many teams changed completely and others became even better: Inter, ManU, Wolfsburg, Leverkusen, Sevilla, Wolves!

Well i can't believe that wolves are among those top 5 favorites to win the Europa League , the list based on the lowest odds are :

Manchester United @2.6xx
Inter milan @5.3xx
Leverkusen @6.1xx
Wolves @7.0xx
Sevilla @7.8xx

And the nearest event is between inter milan vs getafe on 5 August, the odds for inter to win the game at home are @1.9xx now , pretty nice price over there.
What makes that odds quite high for inter hmm?
Are they having bad records playing against Spanish Teams? I'm not sure.

I think Manchester United odds is that low because it is assumed Manchester united have an easy run to the semi finals of the europa league. A 5-0 victory already as Lask means United are through to the quarter finals to face İstanbul Başakşehir / Copenhagen. Meanwhile Inter Milan have to go through Getafe first, before battling it out with another top gun in Leverkusen et al.

Its going to be an interesting battle to the final, and it will be clearer who the favorites are once the next round of matches by August 10, 2020

@ampere I am considering to wager on a draw or a loss for Manchester United against LASK, because they’ll be fielding a weaker side, and most of the top player’s will either be rested or will be on the bench, hence a good opportunity to earn some easy money from this match. Also I can’t wait to see Inter Milan vs Manchester United, if it can happen because it’ll be really entertaining to see Lukaku play against his ex club.

Inter is the favorite UEFA Europa League. The main enemy will be Sevilla. Other teams lack experience or a good coach.Manchester United good team, but inexperienced coach.

According to bookmakers, MU is main favorites currently, they been really solid after lockdown.
Inter is second, but it won't be easy to get through Getafe. Though Getafe played terrible after lockdown.
I think that Bayer and Sevilla have good chances.
Wolves and Shakhtar are underdogs and probably they aren't going to win trophy, but I think they can make some noise.

I also think that Manchester United has become a favorite, the game is getting better and more effective. Likewise with Inter Milan
with good quality players, a favorite champion after Manchester United. For sevilla I believe they can beat Roma, then Leverkusen is
lucky to only fight Rangers which is still in quality below. For Wolves as underdogs I am also sure that they will defeat Olympiakos easily.
Regarding Shakhtar I am not sure they can win against Wolfsburg. I can't wait to watch the UEFA Europa League match, which starts
in a few days.

I wouldn't see it so clearly this year. The cards can change in a very short time due to the pandemic. Just imagine what would happen if ManU would have a positive Covid case and some players (or the whole time) need to go in quarantin , then the favourite role would basically be gone. Same with the other clubs. I think we could see a total outsider win the EL this year, like FC Basel or Getafe. Everything is possible in these crazy times.

Well, personally I don't agree with bookmakers that MU is ovbious favorites and I hope they will bottle. But I think that things may went in unexpected way not just because of possible Covid-19 outbreak in one of teams. Don't forget that there will be just one leg game in each round, what gives mores chances for underdogs. And also, national leagues ended on different dates - Bundesliga ended month ago, La Liga few weeks ago, while Serie A jus this weekend. So, teams will be in different conditions.

Manchester had a great end of the season in the Premier League.
They have good form. To tell you the truth, I didn't believe that they are going to be able to reach to far in the Europa League but after the recent results in EPL they are one of the favorites for winning the cup.

At this stage, an experienced coach plays a role. Without experience such matches cannot be won. The Manchester coach has no experience yet. I think he will win the Inter this season.

So tonight we have a first bunch of European games after the corona break. Anybody betting something? Here is my take on the games:

Shakhtar - Wolfsburg - both to score @1,7 This one is on my main high stake ticket. Both teams like attacking football and the result (2:1) from the first game means that Wolfsburg has to score some goals.

Inter - Getafe - Inter ML @1,85 This one is also on my main high stake ticket. Odds are that good because this game is played on neutral grounds. First leg got canceled due to corona and this game will decide who will continue in EL. Inter finished the league in very good form and they were playing competitive football until few days. Getafe finished their league very week and than had a big break. Those stuff should be enough for Inter to capitalize and secure a win. I expect low scoring match 1:0 or 2:0 for Inter.

Kopenhagen - Istanbull B. - Under 2.5 @1.7 This one is just on my beer money ticket to fill the space. Have absolutely no insight in the teams but seems to me that this could be another very cagey match with small amounts of goals as first one (0:1)

United - Lask - both to score and over 2.5 @2.2 This one also on beer money ticket. United won the first game 5:0 so anything can happen here. I went with goals from both sides since I expect an open match for the fans.

I think we have two easy wins here today from these games.Both Inter and Manchester United are clearly the stronger teams and with much more experience in international competitions than the teams they are playing against tonight.I lost everything in slots today otherwise I would be betting a double for these teams.

Europa League is back tonight!! nonstop football action, gotta love it! I've placed a couple of singles a few days ago:


Inter finished the serie A on a winning streak playing some good football and even mantained a few clean sheets. They have the momentum + those last couple of wins vs. Napoli and Atalanta should've given some boost confidence to Conte's squad ahead of the match tonight.

tomorrow:

Sevilla haven't played an official match in almost 3 weeks, but you can't underestimate the all-time europa league winners, a team used to playing against some of the best teams in the world on the regular, with top class players and one of the best managers in spain.

Inter would be my pick even without the fact that they had league until few days ago, and Getafe did not play well after restart, and with this, 1,85 seems like a free money, hopefully it will end as expected

Today I am betting on four home team wins. Inter and Manchester United are, in my opinion, the main favorites of this competition. They have recently finished their league games in which they presented themselves very well. I have no doubts about these two matches. What I fear most is Shakhtar's victory over Wolfsburg. However, I bet on the home team mainly because of the long list of absent players in Wolfsburg. The fact that Wolfsburg played the last match for points over a month ago will also be significant.

Interesting games tonight after almost 5 months pause. I am pretty sure Manchester United will win with more than 3 goals difference. Other games are quite harder to predict as teams performance before and after the restart varied a lot.
Wolfsburg did good in Bundesliga but they are playing now in Ukraine, with a previous defeat 1-2 in their home so I think Shakhtar has more odds to progress.
Copenhagen - Istanbul, I don't think there will be many goals as Trofo said, otherwise a game to avoid  
And i think Inter will win vs Getafe with 1 goal difference!

I'll share some my thoughts about today games.
Shakhtar - Wolfsburg. I pick Shakhtar win @2.95, I see big value there. Wolfsburg didn't played well after restart and they don't have few players today. They also didn't have competeitive game for more than month. There is one less risky option - Shakhtar won't loose @1.63.
Inter - Getafe. Inter win @1.77. If this would happen before quarantine, I wouldn't be so sure, but now Inter playing solid, while Getafe struggled in La Liga.
MU - LASK - safe bet over 2.5 @1.5
I'm only not sure about Copenhagen - Basaksekhir game because I haven't see many games of these teams after restart, so I don't know what to expect.

inter vs getafe = inter wins & man u vs Lask = man u won. Inter and MU won in the first game, so this is a good opportunity for both teams to increase the number of points.

Nah, In the end wolfsburg couldnt score at all . Whats more surprising was 3 goals from Shakhtar Donetsk in less than 5 minutes . Wolfsburg probably lose all their motivation to play on the last minute, unbelievable. I havent see this kind of stuff for a while, usually things get boring on the last minutes especially with both team on almost equal footing though

Too bad,  both games didn't play out as expected. Wolfsburg didn't get much chances (they had only 2 shots were on target). Istanbul on the other hand, there's not much to say about them other than the fact that they were disappointing. Good thing I didn't bet on any of those games. Inter and Manchester United games are currently in play. My prediction is on an Inter's win and over 2.5 goals for Manchester United game though I played Inter to win either half.

Incredible and unbelievable! Wolfsburg game ended with the worst scenario... Not scoring a single goal, receiving 3 goals, the 3 goals were scored in only 5 minutes at the end of the game!!
Copenhagen won vs Istanbul with 3 goals to 0! Another weird result with many goals and only one side scored. I was right to say avoid this game...
Until now epic fail for many predictions!
For games involving ManU and Inter, there is no goal scored yet first ~10 minutes.
