I will go for quality over quantity.

The increase of ICO does not mean success when everyone knows that only 5% or even less are the legit projects, and with these small percentage of legit project, they even still struggle to grow due to the current market situation where people trust BTC than the altcoins.

What I know is that legit projects are already using IEO to raise funds, ICO is already an obsolete way of crowd funding.

Yes, after 2017 the ICO became rapidly increase with fake projects and there have only a few legit projects only which had very difficult to identify. Now IEO is very popular to us and trusted as well

ICO is getting started of having their PHASE-OUT in the community.
As there were so many SCAMMED ICO PROJECT since 2018.
IEO is one of the best thing to deal with now. "INITIAL EXCHANGE OFFERING" is more legit and trusted than the old ICO.

ICO doesn't make sense in the market when btc dominance is around 70%. There are two ways, first - most of them will not reach the hardcap, second - private sellers will dump on retail. The market is very sever currently.

Last year was really the year where there's a lot of scam ICOs and that really cause the loss of confidence.
This year, maybe there are still investors in ICO but I'm pretty sure they are already small in numbers since we already have an IEO that is way safer and it's also available in different exchanges.

It's not anymore only Binance now that operates a successful IEO, there are already improvement in other exchanges and I'm hoping this improvement will continue so more fresh investors will come to play again.

ICO numbers is still increasing but their quality and trustworthiness are decreasing. Most of ICOs today are scam and although some of them are legit but their platforms are not feasible to the market  in which it will fail in the end due to insufficient investors. So for me quantity is useless if your investments chances of losing is very high.

I dont think so, I rarely heard about "ICO" these days. ICO is becoming dead. ETH decrease in price is the clearly proof.

Definitely, I don't even see any coin from ICO that are in exchange now enjoying the same growth like IEO coins.

What I like about this IEO is more exchanges are beginning to gain popularity as well, and though Binance still leads the way, the other exchanges has help to accommodate investors who likes to participate in IEO, when this matures, we could probably see a good progress in the long run and might experience a bull run because of this and enjoy the same that we enjoyed during ICO times but in different platform.

The number of ICO's in 2019 as comparing to 2018 decreased 5 times (!) really.
For example in August 2018 the number of projects were more than 320 and according to July 2019 it is barely 60.

Yes, now we see a sharp decrease in the number of ICO projects in this forum and other similar forums. Even at the Bounty Suite a couple of days ago there was only one ICO campaign, then two were added: one allocates $ 1,000 to Tron for all bounty campaigns, and the other does not provide for a signature campaign at all. At the same time, ICO projects can still be revived, and for this, state regulation of this type of activity is necessary. If authorized government agencies will check the team and their documents before registration, this will immediately reduce the level of fraud among them.

IEO are quite popular at the moment, at the same time there are more ico's getting into existence. Among the number of ico's very few have gained more support and investment. IEO participation keeps increasing as the market listing of the tokens of the respective projects gets into trading access in a short while the same through ico's happen after weeks or even months. Possibly there will be some year in the future same as 2017 for altcoins. Until then we need to keep hold of the assets invested and earned out of ico's.

That's the journey ICO is taking now, there are no investors who are interested in risking their money on ICO, and this is actually good as it would result to less scams in the market. As of now, I haven't heard of scam IEO yet, maybe some are not doing well in exchange but they are not scam, and compared to ICO, during the time it was still popular, there are a lot of complains from people who got scam, and this IEO is a blessing to the market, it arrived timely and I believe it will help the market to slowly recover.

I am not sure about your statement, I am personally more sure that ico is diminishing, many ico users have switched to IEO. Well, maybe not everything will be but ico's reputation is really very bad. projects produced by ICO do not have good functions.

Except you are very nee the crypto space, everyone here will know that ICO has decreased drastically this can be seen also from the traffic ranking of most ICO review sites compared to what it used to be over a year ago. IEO is gaining the popularity instead.

I think ICO era has been over taken by the intorduction os STO/IEO and other alternative improvision of sourcing for funds. people tend to avoid certain ICO and focus more on IEO particularly and STO because of the regulations that the projects have to meet and the checks done gives the investors a degree of security in their investment fundings.
