Mr Trump Says this for the thirld world technology BitCoin - I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air. Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity....

Here is the tweet by TRUMP - https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1149472282584072192

And this happens in the real world  - U.S. Authorities Seize 20 Tons Of Cocaine From Ship Owned By JP Morgan, and My friends the Cocaine was worth - $1.3 billion, article for your reference - https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ship-seized-in-1-3-billion-cocaine-bust-is-owned-by-jp-morgan-chase/
Since Trump became president of the US, maybe he wants the policies of the American economy to run like he does his business before becoming president. As you know, trump is one of all the richest people in the world where at that time (when he was running his business and also maybe he is not use bitcoin for they business) bitcoin was not as famous as it is today. But bitcoin and its users right now are not the same as before. Bitcoin users now know the effects of the good and bad use of bitcoin. So I don't think any statement will have any effect on bitcoin users. And the problem of bitcoin misuse, don't just judge from a bitcoin perspective, because bitcoin is only a tool for trading transactions. An easy example is if someone uses money to buy drugs or weapons, will we blame the money used? Of course not, right. So what I mean here is if there is misuse of bitcoin, don't blame Bitcoin for being used as a crime transaction, blame those who use it

Nope, its not "thin air" Mr Trump, you got it wrong as some from your age group and social position do. Its math, the trust-less model gives Bitcoin its value, its even more valuable than sheets of paper backed by the "most reputable" institutions that can disappear overnight over a human decision.

Bitcoin rules are known beforehand and remain the same overtime, unlike your fiat currency which can be manipulated and changed by decree. Its this thing called code, as in computer programming code, which happens to be validated by a worldwide network of computers from people willing to run a currency under those rules and no one else's.

This Mr. Trump is why Bitcoin is valuable, even more valuable than any monetary unit humanity has ever seen in its history. Its not about being able to touch it, its about being unable to change it.

Venezuela has the worst currency in the world, over a politician's decision to make everyone poor rather than fix the budget. Same thing happens when a bank plays roulette with people's savings goes bankrupt. Never again, should humanity be exposed to such tragedies.

Can you understand Bitcoin's value yet? You should...

Any public attack of bitcoin by prominent political leader and inventors is welcome, this can only make the bitcoin more interesting and worth investing since it's gaining the attention of the whole world, then there must be something very valuable about it.
It makes people interested because they are getting curious about the reason why the government hate it. Well no matter what we do there will always be someone who's against in bitcoin. Maybe some of them are against because they are just concern how it can affect their people, as you can see bitcoin is already adopted and accepted by different countries it's also can be used in payments, it is possible that people will take some advantage and use it in activities against the law.

One cannot deny the fact the indeed bitcoins and crytpos are being used for nefarious activities but tha doesn't mean that everyone is using it for such purposes and from when that tweet it seems it hasn't made any impact on the growth of cryptos at all.

As President, Trump must defend his country's economy, and cryptocurrency is not an ideal means of payment. Therefore, he expressed doubt in its practical use. Well, everyone has the right to their opinion. However, of course, the opinion of the president, and even such a state, means a lot. However, we hope that this opinion will remain an opinion and will not be embodied in specific laws.

No you did not say that!
Trump how does such an innovation of cryptocurrencies have to benefit third world countries when this was massive support from most citizens from developed countries.

Maybe am missing something about the puzzle which is all pointing to Venezuela or Zimbabwe who have crippled economies and seem to look to crypto as their Savior?Huh

I personally thank Trump for making this advertising to cryptos.
There are a lot of people who don't like Trump and they are opposed to him. His tweet will make them own cryptocurrencies in an endeavor of protesting to him and showing that his beliefs are wrong.
His claims can spark a positive effect in bitcoins price eventually.

I kind felt that whenever someone known or powerful person or group of people talked bad about bitcoin was like a double edge sword, everything they say about it well somewhat backfired and caused a positive outcome. Most of the followers of those people talking shit are wondering and see for themselves if the said statements are true, thus some are interested and therefore got into the business and an addition to the crypto space. If this goes on, maybe even the people from far the edge of the world would know bitcoin in no time.

I don't mind if he is saying like that because I am sure that it will give cryptocurrency a chance to grow more than he can expect. The important thing here is we should keep spreading the cryptocurrency in out there so let people can know and learn what cryptocurrency is. They will know why he says like that and what will happen to cryptocurrency later.

But we cannot stop him from saying anything about cryptocurrency because he is free to have his opinion.

So how is that supposed to really be related to cryptocurrency, before cryptocurrency was introduced, where they not carrying all these illegal items before? Or did they use cryptocurrency to convey it over the sea? There are cases where they have even discovered those illegal items that are worth much more than what they caught with JP Morgan and the money actually came through sources that it’s not bitcoin, so I really don't see any reason why they have to now relate both.

Trump has said his own and we have heard, but we chose to stay with it. He said the cryptocurrency is unlawful if not regulated, and then what is he waiting for to regulate it when he can easily make it become a safe asset that will still bring money into his country if regulated.

I think there are other reasons why Trump doesn't want bitcoin at all.

It's very superficial if he doesn't want bitcoin because of illegal transactions. Well, most of the transaction nowadays are being done using fiat. We can't blame him for that but I know it's for the best.

We're lucky here in the Philippines even President Duterte is having a war on drugs, he didn't think about the abilities of bitcoin because only few of us know about the technology behind bitcoin which is blockchain.
