had read several news about his comments and  and also his tweet stating his dislike on bitcoin and cryptocurrency.  I don't know if we should be worried about the statement but it looks to be bullish for the cryptocurrency community

With or without statement from Mr. Trump, we all already knew very clearly about the main management approach of the USA. governments on crypto currencies. Therefore, in general, the recent statements of Mr.Trump in fact do not disclose anything new, IMO. There are just some people over reacted with those statements, they are minority.

I have information that Trump has kept a large amount of BTC five years ago. Surprisingly, until now Trump declared that. I think that's just an excuse for him to buy more BTC. Relax and see what happens next.

Good luck!!

Are you worried about that? good or bad publicity, you know that it's still publicity. We don't know if Trump truly anti bitcoin/cryptocurrency because this is what the whales of the market does. In the beginning, they are bashing bitcoin and crypto and you will be surprised that they already have it and will admit that they had bought it at the dip. I'm worried at least with his statement and even thankful because he has highlighted bitcoin to his tweet.

Of course Trump will not like bitcoin, and other crypto types because it is decentralized and not subject to government management. furthermore, the crypto market is still too new and there are no clear rules from the government, it is turning into a tool to carry out illegal activities. But I think that in the long run the government will change and make clear rules for managing crypto, so we don't need to worry too much about Trump's statement. He simply said he did not like it, not a ban.

It's nothing new actually we all know what is the stand of USA government ever since and every government for that matter, they don't want to lose control of its people and they do not want decentralization in the first place, It's unfortunate back then we have a coin named Trumpcoin.

As everyone knows, Mr Trump is a great businessman and has a lot of wealth, And I think that the President revealed the encrypted currency and wanted to be the biggest beneficiary of this market and made this statement until the market fell and exploited incredibly.

Do we have to treat it a big deal? There is nothing special about what this man speaks. And I don't think this will cause even a little dent as to the reputation and potentials and even price of Bitcoin. For so long that Donald Trump releases controversial statements that are clearly uninformed, people have already learned not to pay attention.

Trump's statement despite being the President of the US will not have any implication on bitcoin and any other genuine cryptocurrency. A lot has been said against cryptocurrency prominent people in the world, yet cryptocurrency has not shifted ground, rather it is waxing stronger. Therefore, his statement should be disregarded as been the usual, because it is not new.

What statement did he make against bitcoin? Can you please post a link since I couldn't find anything and it sounds like a rumor unless you're speaking of facebook libra which is completely separate investment. I find surprising that people are commenting but no one has posted a link.

That's an agressive words coming from President Trump of the USA, and it's really remarkable for all of us. It means a very serious matter for bitcoin, but as decentralized matter regarding bitcoin; the financial freedom still remains intact despite of strong words from the President.

It may affect libra since facebook wants to get involve with the banks so meaning if facebook wants that to happen then, they'll have to face regulations issued by the government. But other than that, I don't think there will be much. And the market looks bullish right now especially bitcoin so no need to worry.

the crypto market will not have a major impact on his statement. many people give statements about crypto and on average they say crypto is bad. but in the end crypto is still developing and there are still many who like it, so just relax.

I think it's normal he doesn't like BTC and crypto because he is the president. as long as the government still rejects crypto, he will do so too.

To be sincere I don't truly believe what Trump is his own stand on Bitcoin, I just feel it is what he was told and decided to go with his advisers. Kiyosaki  (Rich Dad, Poor Dad Author) is a friend of Trump ad have both publish a book together, do invest in Crypto, I know he owns BTC and Ethereum, so Trump is telling people like this they don't know what they are doing

yes maybe it's just a sensation made to disrupt the market. with conditions like this maybe those who have the intent and interests can buy bitcoin at a cheaper price.
do you remember that the trump also talked about the death of a big film actor, even though he was still alive. whatever he actually did.

Most of people just dont know that blockchain itself is among the most teansparent system out there because it is recorded since the emergence until now, if every btc addresses were to be changed to the owner's name we can trace down all of people's transaction and they are still thinking fiat is less anonymous than bitcoin smh.
