I have been betting on sports quite successfully for many years now and thought I would start a betting diary here in this forum. Anyone who wants can of course follow my bets, feel free to do so - in the end though, this is not the main intention of this thread and most importantly: please only bet with money you can afford to loose.

Please do not expect this to be a highly professional diary - I will just write down the events along with my picks, the respective odds and mark them green (if won) and red (if lost). I will not share my exact stakes for the time being. I will be tracking all of my bets in this opening post. I am kindly asking you not to "spam" this thread - you are more than welcome though for "real" discussions even though these should be related obviously.

This thread is now self-moderated - as mentioned before, you are welcome to post stuff that makes sense - all "random" posts will be deleted though.

Yes, random post should be deleted in this thread. By the way, what are your basis with the picks you made that you shown in your post?. I want to know what did you base on your pickings for this to happen because some people (especially tipster) that they only give random picks to people that will only made them lose more, win less or worst than losing money from betting.

I have never tracked it mate to be honest - I am surely winning but this has not always been the case. When I began, many many years ago, I lost lots of money... money to buy cars...

I am betting mostly on football (or soccer if you wish to call it so) and basketball.


I have added new picks for the day - you guys can be assured that all picks I am posting are well researched  - obviously I am not placing bets without analyzing in advance. Anyway, even though I will definitely not post my complete thoughts on the picks I am posting, I will try to write a few words whenever I find the time to do so.

So for Djurgarden - Malmo: Both teams are in good shape and its a big derby in Sweden. Last week Djur only played 1-1 at home - with a win today against malmo they would only be 3 points away from the top. Their form is 5-1-0 in the last 6 matches.

Malmo on the other side won 2-1 at home vs Orebro last week and it will be important not to loose in order to keep their rivals at distance.

Both teams definitely have what it takes to score in this big Swedisch duel and Goal/Goal paying 1.86 is worth a shot.


Just added two new picks for the day - without going into detail:

Firstly we have Stabaek vs Sarpsborg, quite a difficult match. Very likely though that both teams will score. Then I chose Helsingborgs home win vs Sirius - just the better team and they wont give away points at home.

So far it looks like you have an approximately 60-70% success rate, which is pretty good considering many of your bets are at 2:1 or higher.

Do you keep a log of your winnings per week, and the amount you spend per bet? Would be nice to see if you're placing equal size bets or not, or if not. how you distribute your funds.
