Ethereum vs. Big Companies

It's hard nowadays to just simply pumped your coin even you already provided updates but the market still on it's speculation period, the bear season is trying to comes up and with the dominance of bitcoin its harder for investors to put much amount inside alts than putting higher inside bitcoin investment, ETH needs more back up since the possibilities of bigger company to comes up with their own crypto will make it more harder for this coin being pumped high again.

Not only that. Even if you provide updates, it's got to be something the community finds useful in the first place. Even for bitcoin, with segwit, it took forever for services to upgrade and until today you still have some sites refusing to even do it despite the benefits. Bear season has very little to do with update related price in my opinion.

While big companies has their own platform in real life business so I see no comparison to them both

so far what we can see of course cannot, because the popularity of ethereum is more considered, not only ETH, the king of Crypto is Bitcoin, none of them can kill Bitcoin. ETH has an active product, as well as many communities, it might happen and it feels business, but if you want to be killed I think it's impossible.

All of them had a different market and users, and I don't think these companies can beat or kill  Ethereum, what can kill Ethereum is the community that supports, but people are unanimous in supporting Ethereum just like they do on Bitcoin, as long as people are into Cryptocurrency Ethreum is unlikely to die.

From Ethereum was an ambitious plans to create the world of the computer. But every day the fuse of the company fades. I certainly want to believe that top companies will fight with Ethereum. But most likely this will not have to be done. Since Ethereum will kill itself and it will not need any help.

I believe in Ethereum and so far for me this coin is the most effective in business terms. I pay bills using Ethereum, this is a convenient payment system at least.

No, it will not defeat Ethereum, but it can even popularize it.

Libra has the potential to become the most used cryptocurrency in the world, and this will lead to the massive usage of crypto. Anyone can compete to any coins especially those companies who are capable to fund their new project, if there's a threat to ETH then they should know that so they can think for more advance technology that can still keep them above all altcoins. I think if Facebook or any other companies fund more their project, they can enter in top position easily and if the service or token or coin is good, then we can expect to see a new coin on top.

Aside Facebook, I don’t think that there is any coin that can ever come up with any technology that can be as strong as ETHEREUM, as they say that experience is the best teacher, do you know how many years of experience that ETHEREUM has had in this field, and ever since they have been established, they have been doing their work very well, and know how to close their loop holes.

If you see that Ethereum often comes with an upgrade, they must have also been watching and spying on these projects to see any feature that they intend adding to their platform that might make them more effective, which Ethereum will definitely add as part of its upgrade, so I do not even see the popular Facebook able to play this game more than Ethereum. The question kinda lacks many details. We know those are giant compared to ETH but for what reason, they need to kill Ethereum. At best I could think that they adopted Ethereum to use in their service.

I personally see ethereum as a good project with a solid team, I know ethereum has a lot to offer and that explains why it holds the second largest chunk of the coin market cap. I agree with the fact that there's nothing impossible in the cryptocurrency market, but it would be very difficult for big companies to defeat ethereum.
