IEO is safer than ICO, but until now ICO still has a record of success. in 2017, it was as if most ICOs had success. but that does not apply to the moment, where there are many fraudulent projects in it and trends are shifting towards safer IEO

IEO is not really safe, scams can still take investor money with the help of bad exchanges. so nothing is safe, if we want to invest in new projects. I think both of them look the same because long before IEO was popular, the initial sale of tokens on exchanges was already there when ICO was still popular and LAtoken was one of those exchanges.

Thanks for the very rich post and detail analysis about ICO and IEO in my opinion now either it is ICO or IEO the investors only take part in a project which is already stable or supported by another big project. and all other projects never get the support or interest by investors due to large number of scam projects from in IEO and ICO.

ICOs are no more the part of game. They have become the major way for scammers to fool people. With IEOs, things get a bit better when these projects are listed by famous exchanges. Still, there are chances of failure but these don't have scam issue. The safest and most beneficial coins are the one that have been here since the beginning and which actually laid foundation of crypto currency world so naturally they become the first choice.

The ultimate aim of projects who raise funds via ICO and IEO methods are to raise money to fund their projects and I think projects actually prefers ICOs to IEOs because there would be no middle-man (exchanges) to share the funds with or to give large amounts of their tokens to,

Investors will prefer the IEO held by large exchangers because of the price history after the initial listing. IEO might be a good alternative in the sale of tokens but it is not guaranteed that the price will go up after the initial listing because many IEOs are offered by small exchangers, the price drops below the IEO price

the number of scam ico indications makes investor confidence decreases. ieo came up with a new idea, in my opinion it's good to fix it all. because if it continues to survive like this, it is not impossible ico will be increasingly lost and the difficulty of getting a market in crypto because without the funds, they might not be able to run the project. any situation that should occur in the crypto market should not be a reason and a hindrance for the team to make tokens have value and are profitable.

Both are almost samething both I prefer IEO to a certain level though especially on some Exchanges but generally ICO and IEO are same set of people and should be monitored because they have done more harm than good.

I find that all IEO projects have been lauched on major exchanges like Houbi, Binance have brought returns to investors (not buyers or owners, who buy when they open their asset trading), but not with ICO projects. In 2018, we could see a lot of ICO projects being turned into scams after reaching the hard cap, which makes investors afraid of investing and IEO is the key to solving this problem.
So to me, IEO is the best solution to choose investment right now.

It's a little bit safe than ICO but this time IEO goes to the same conclusion as ico caused by so many crap exchange sites are launching the scam IEO and so many investors have been getting scammed by the scam IEO with a lot of pre-mined coin. Both are going to the same thing that ICO and IEO can't 100% be trusted again.

You are right without proper research it is not a good idea to invest in the IEO, people are showing a lot of interest towards Binance IEO. That's why it is good to research before investing in any project, so it is good to invest in Binance exchange for IEO.

ICO is a lot riskier than the IEO cause in ICO there is no assurance that the project developer would continue and not get aways with the money that is accumilated during their sales. While in IEO you have to buy it already in exchange which you are little assured that the project devs are making a push for the project to exist into crypto space but they can still pulled it out once they have raised enough fund and get away though. Both still risky so better make a proper research before investing.

In terms of profit, both are capable of generating a fairly high profit, as both have the potential to continue to deliver more than we expect. And if you have to choose one of them I will choose IEO. Somehow I keep thinking that IEO is more profitable than a facet. If described in detail IEO is more promising, safe and reliable. So with this kind of definition I would be very impressed with IEO for my future.
