@RHAvar The client seed in compare to the server seed only looks like hashed, in fact, it is definitely not.

Obviously..

Quote
As you can notice in a provably fair checker, the client seed is public as well as a nonce. Simple saying the client seed is just a random generated string that works equally to the manually provided string by a user.

It doesn't matter if it's public, it's exclusively picked by and controlled by the server (which knows the unhashed server-seed). Your website description of a client seed is correct, and the the very name "client seed" makes it clear that it's a seed set by the client after seeing the hashed server seed. Yet your site doesn't work that way.   It can be done automatically (via client side random generation) but it should be set by the client, and absolutely must be allowing user input.

As it stand, the site clearly doesn't meet the standard threshold of "provably fair" and is imho engaging in pretty deceptive conduct by trying to explain away a major problem with technobabble.

---

Put another way, if you simply removed the "client seed" the player would have exactly the same guarantees -- which just makes the whole client-seed as implemented by your site purely smoke-and-mirrors.

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Its totally random they have RNG cetrificate in their footer  Grin Grin Grin
Here we have  server seed and server client seed and we can only change it to another server client seed
You must allow user input as client seed without restriction

I played a 0.01% chance at first reached 35k bets but didn’t win, I deleted the seed and started again and reached almost 40k bets again but still didn’t win I turned to support asked why this chance is on the maximum amount he answered me what the chance can be up to 10,000,000 bets or more, that is, either the children sit in support or the support does not understand what’s lol, that is, if at 0.01% 10,000,000 bets it turns out that 1% percent can be 100k bets, the lol is really stupid or they wanted to mislead me  also the day before yesterday I again showed the wrong timer on the video and when I click play all the coins play only one the last numbers do not play the question why they are needed the backing answered that I would not delete the video they will contact me but 2 days have passed but there’s nothing fixed in short bad attitude to their users and remember if they once deceived you they will always cheat you and ban the chat for no reason they ban only when the player writes about the problem on the site lol and it’s true in the 44th thread I described this for which I got a ban for one week  on the 44th branch everything is described to all good luck

@joksim299 We totally understand your concerns, to make it fully transparent we will introduce the manual input of a client seed in a few days!

With all this being said, does that mean they could have manipulated results for players?

@RHavar to avoid any concerns and misunderstanding we will implement the manual input of the client seed ASAP. Once we do this I will let you know so please test it out again and point any imperfections you find. We don't want any understatement in this matter

Sure, I'd be happy to review it. As long as the user can set it, it should be fine. And I'd also strongly advise that the server should **never** generate a client seed. If you want a default one, have the client generate it automatically (after seeing the server-seed-hash) and send it to the server. So from the user-point experience point of view it's the same, just the generation is happening client-side.

With that, it should be all good  Grin

Going against Rhavar on a subject of provably fair topic is really not a very smart decision.

Now, I am not saying you should change the way you are doing provably fair, you have hundreds of customers and constantly over 50+ users no matter whenever I look which means there are enough people who like to play here as it is and doesn't need to change it to keep playing.

However, if you want to read what Rhavar is saying either just ignore it and keep doing whatever you want to do or fix what you are doing with the helpful feedback of him, these are two options that makes sense. Trying to prove Rhavar wrong or trying to convince him that your system works won't be really liked since it won't work, dude knows what he is talking about and won't change the reality just for you, either ignore him or get help but don't fight.

I am sorry that it looked that way, I was just agreeing to it. I was trying to say in general "you" is like "anyone who has a casino" and not you in wolf.bet alone. I didn't read Rhavars latest one before me but I wrote that knowing that wolf.bet is doing something to improve their provably fair and agreeing with Rhavar on the subject which is what you should do, if you don't do THAT (which is what wolf.bet is doing so the rest is unimportant) you should ignore him.

I was just trying to say those are the options, you have to either fix it or ignore it but there is no fighting which is literally what happened. My play by play of the situation was worded horribly I totally agree with you on that one, sorry but English is not my native language so sometimes I can't explain myself as well as I would like to.

I'm a little curious about Wolf.bet, are the team of Wolf Bet has any plan or goal of adding new feature of the gambling site? Just like a sportsbook? I don't know yet if the site is already ready for this because I just saw on some gambling site (stake and fortunejack) which started with only dice games or casino but they have now new added features which are Sportsbook.

Looking forward to seeing a sportsbook on wolf bet since I already experienced playing dice games on the site and I want to experience sports betting too.

Yeah, but they're probably not. If they did rig it, they would only be able to manipulate the first ~few bets in a sequence (because the nonce system makes it implausible to find a malicious server-seed to rig more than a few bets in a sequence) and more importantly: they would've be vulnerable to someone knowing they're rigging and betting the opposite way.

It's definitely no where near as severe as the wixiplay one (they can rig virtually every bet, and can do it risklessly) but it's still garbage for a provably fair system.

I think I agree here. Good that you guys pointed it out, and even better that the site has accepted it and now promised to fix it but this is the big problem with this industry,,, that the concept of provably fair is not fully understood (even I myself to be honest cannot have possibly understood all of this by myself).

I think the fact that they said they will change it means they did not intend to do it like this. Let us see!

It is cool that they actually ended up adding the manual client seed literally in few days after that was a discussion, it was obvious they weren't scamming anyone because if they were there would have been a proof already, there are so many maniac people who lose money to casinos and for some reason blame casinos for being cheaters (casinos have house edge, you will lose, there is no hidden secret to steal your money) and if wolf.bet ever tried to cheat one of those people would have figured it out.

However, this manual client seed basically just a proof, kinda of a method for wolf.bet to say "we don't steal, if you want manual, here it is" and just a show of how legitimate they are. I don't support any casinos trustworthiness 100% but this move is definitely a 100% move right here.

Looking forward to seeing a sportsbook on wolf bet since I already experienced playing dice games on the site and I want to experience sports betting too.

thats a nice suggestion man  . adding more games can make a gambling site more appealing imo  but this site wolfbet is not that old enough , i mean they might be observing their site if all runs well and are also listening to the feedback of other gamblers  not just our's  .  you know some peeps only like one game too and many peeps like dice     .  if they can improve thier dice game more evenly then that would be a good idea before planning out other idea  .
