This is issue already pointed out many times by different user. If I remember correctly, The last time withdrawal fee is more than that amount in BTC they are adjusting it but not regularly because the price is very volatile. You can always choose different currency to deposit in the casino if you can't afford to pay that amount for your withdrawal fee. Wolfbet main account is not that much active in the forum since there last post here was last year while they have brand manager here which is not always online. Sending directly this concern on there support is much faster rather than wait for there reply here.
The good thing about this casino is that they support multiple cryptocurrencies and this makes the issue on BTC withdrawal fee less bothering. If we knew to ourselves that we are a small player why would we bother using bitcoin as a currency to gamble when its obvious that BTC fees are always high no matter what is the status of the market? Or no matter which is the casino we are playing with.

For the big players, the fees in BTC is not really a big problem to them. Big players are the reason why there are casinos until now that set extra high fees on their BTC withdrawals because they know that big players wont complain with it.

I think there is a solution for small players as well. They can use the BEP20 network to avoid huge fees. I am also using it.  Smiley

Can WOLF.BET give any assurances regarding KYC ?

Many users of cryptocurrency (including myself) have always believed in the anonynimity that Crypto brings.

You may or may not be aware that another bitcoin casino has started a KYC process. This process is aggressive and excludes people from extra bonus's
rain, tips etc if they don't want/wish to supply personal details.

Considering an account with WOLF.BET but cannot bring myself to expose my personal details.  Wondering if KYC were to become an issue at a later date ?

You should read there ToS for peace of mind. All Casino don't necessarily require KYC for all there user but they have the right to imposed it on your account if they observe that you are doing illegal activities such as coin mixing that typically use for money laundering since they are just abiding on the AML regulations that mandates them in able to get the casino license. You can read the full content of there policy about KYC here https://wolfbet-static.storage.googleapis.com/documents/Terms.pdf .

Remember, If you are playing without any violation on there ToS, You are always safe for undergoing KYC.

You aren't talking about wolf.bet, right? The other casino has implemented the system to prevent the abusers. But wolf.bet hasn't taken similar steps.

Considering an account with WOLF.BET but cannot bring myself to expose my personal details.  Wondering if KYC were to become an issue at a later date ?
Identity verification isn't mandatory at wolf.bet. And all of their services are available for the users without the requirement of KYC verification. No casino will force you to verify your identity as long as you aren't breaking their terms. Wolf.bet doesn't have huge number of active users (like the other site). As a result the number of abusers aren't much there. Perhaps, they aren't going to create similar rules in the near future.

It can become mandatory. This is rare situation of course but if they believe that you have done something that is against their rules, they could totally ask you to fill an KYC that would require you to give them your information in order to let you withdraw. I am not sure if I have ever seen them do that before, but that's what was talked about and that is only for when there is a shady thing going on by the gambler.

So, it is not like "wolf.bet will never ask you to do KYC", but more like it is unlikely and we haven't heard of it happen before and that is why we assumed that it won't happen but just because it hasn't happened, doesn't mean they do not have that right to ask you to do KYC.

We dont know until they do make it mandatory but if this one do only happens on a particular user then we could really assume that there's something wrong with a particular user but if they would impose it

for all users then we know that they are really that have big change towards crypto users which do really sucks because we dont really like it on the first place but as regulations becomes tight then having these

changes could really be happening in the future but lets hope that it would be not too rampant on upcoming future but you should anticipate for it to happen.

Thanks guys for all your responses in so short space of time:

I do understand that the site has a right to enforce KYC if a player is suspected of wrongdoing, and I totally agree.

But for an unregulated casino, where players deposit unregulated currencies to attempt blanket KYC's which they don't supply a reason for, they don't supply a data protection link & don't explain what the data is to be used for (is it to be sold on, given to other organisations etc), rings alarm bells for me.

What people don't realise is, the security of your data is the only thing online that protects you from identity theft, mounting purchases in your name & fraudulent bank accounts to name just a few.

If nothing else, you need to know the reason your data is being collected & how secure it is going to be kept.

These disclosures are being refused in the case discussed above

I'm happy enough with the information i've received to progress.

Thank you all so much

Cheers

At the end of the day, if there is a big deal made about this by the governments and all, then casinos will have to make it mandatory, they have no other choice. Assume you are the owner of a casino and the government comes in and tells you that unless you put KYC there and force people to fill it, they will attack you with everything in the law and make you closed in a year, less than that. You will get scared and start asking for KYC right?

You may do worse, but the alternative is to get closed by the government. This is why they do it, maybe wolf.bet is not doing it yet, but other places are doing it exactly because of this reason.

Users should not be surprised if they are going to be asked to submit KYC since from singing up you agreed to their terms and condition including submitting of personal identification but it is nice that they don't required it to most of the users and some users still have the privacy in playing in Wolf.bet

I will be surprised if they forced me to submit KYC while I don't do anything that can violate there ToS. I agree on ToS but they also indicated there that they will only require to submit documents if they feel that I’m violating there standards so if they don't any evidence while they still force me or other user therefore we can conclude that the Casino is a fraud for asking legal documentation without a valid reason.

Don’t generalized the statement on ToS as a negative way. I understand this when I chat a user that works as a customer support on a gambling casino platform.

Can WOLF.BET give any assurances regarding KYC ?

Many users of cryptocurrency (including myself) have always believed in the anonynimity that Crypto brings.

Considering an account with WOLF.BET but cannot bring myself to expose my personal details.  Wondering if KYC were to become an issue at a later date ?

I haven’t seen such an assurances about KYC/AML but i think and in the terms of Wolf.Bet T&C, they have right to ask your KYC information at any time if when they will any illegal activities/money laundering or something like that from your account then you have to submit your legal documents to identify verification, i think it’s not only in Wolf.Bet gambling platform others most of the sites following that way.

(Edited out)

You ignored Mahdirakib's Question here. Why are you talking about another platform in the Wolf bet thread while they don't force their players to do the KYC? As far I know, You are eligible to receive rain from wolf chat if you are active in the chat. You don't have to verify KYC there to get rain from the chat. Am I wrong? beat me.

They will ask for a KYC if you do violation of their T&C. If you didn't. Don't panic.

Here are relevant sections, I'm not really sure what this discussion is other than people being anxious about potential KYC. But that will always be the case, you know? Of course those people who are just naturally breaking T&C by existing but in a not very offensive way will be worried. All the more reason to withdraw.

As for wolf.bet itself, the site really is behind in terms of... everything. The XP race is pitiful. The core set of games is very weak. Chat is over-moderated. Bad rakeback. Bad bonuses. Zero comp.

One cent rain? One cent. Laughable. VIP wheel and any bonuses might as well just be rakeback+, and even then, still weak. It feels like anyone who sticks there just doesn't know there are much, much better alternatives.

It's a pretty slick site but nothing they do is very impressive or stands out.

5. KYC/AML
§1
Wolf.bet shall have the right, at any time, to ask for any KYC/AML documentation it deems
necessary to determine the identity and location of the User. Wolf.bet shall reserve the right
to restrict service and payment until identity is sufficiently determined.

...

'as part of the registration process...'

(Not, of course, currently the case, but already in the Terms)

§6
Wolf.bet may require the User to become a verified User, which includes passing certain
checks. The User may be required to provide valid proof of identification and any other
document as it may be deemed necessary. This includes but is not limited to, a picture ID
(copy of passport, driver's license, or national ID card) and a recent utility bill listing the
User’s name and address as proof of residence. Wolf.bet shall reserve the right to suspend
wagering or restrict Account options on any Account until the required information is
received. This procedure is done in accordance with the applicable gaming regulation and
the anti-money laundering legal requirements

Having to ask KYC if they see it fit depending on a situation and having some sort of KYC "required" thing for everyone are different things. I am not so sure about which one you would prefer, getting it out of nowhere, or getting it beforehand so you would know the situation, could be quite different from each other.

However, at the end of the day we are talking about not a must thing based on everyone, it based on whoever does something that is out of the usual and you get something based on that. I have to say that I have been gambling here for a long time now, and it has never been really a problem and never asked my KYC before at all.

Sorry,

I believe I did answer @Mahdirakib's post.  I also included his/her in the users I quoted  ..

I asked the question here to satisfy myself that the same KYC wouldn't happen here.

If there is anything else I didn't answer to your satisfaction, ask me !

I'm paranoid about the privacy of my data due to having had my identity stolen from a poker siTe belonging to a very well-known and well established Bookmaker ?

This happpened in 2018 and took months to get sorted out, I was even arrested at one stage because Bank was accusing me of wrongdoing..  Ironically my arrest made the bank sit up and investigate (but thats another story)

I have trouble using Wolf.bet since my IP or maybe where I live is not allowed in Wolf.bet and I can't see their terms and condition if using a VPN is allowed or not. If I use a VPN would I be able to access your site or will be banned if I insist?

Better to check the terms first to know whether your country is restricted to access wolf.bet or not. If it is restricted, it is not recommended to use a VPN. Secondly, can you visit other gambling sites with the same IP you use while trying to access wolf.bet? Last but not least, there is a live support in wolf.bet that you can use to find the best official information about your problem.

I can tell you that VPN is not a reason to not be able to play. I do not know if it is allowed or not but I have been using it so far and nobody warned me about it and it didn't blocked me from gambling on it neither. So that should not be the problem.

Maybe the VPN you are using redirects to a nation that is banned to play here? Or maybe you could be using different browsers, like edge always gave me trouble with most casinos, and firefox always becomes slow after an hour of gambling, chrome always uses too much ram when I keep gambling as well, opera is the only one that is perfect for me. So, maybe it's about that? Plus, mobile versus PC matters in this situation as well.

Have you tried to contact live support? If you didn't then please do it. They will help you instantly.
There are some restricted countries according to their terms and conditions.

Blacklisted Territories:
Syria
Iran
Yemen
Myanmar
Poland
Iraq
Venezuela
North Korea
Netherlands
Dutch
Caribbean Islands
Curacao
France
United States
and/or any other restricted by law country or state.
Note that it is strictly forbidden to play on Website in blacklisted countries mentioned above.

If you live in one of these countries, you will not be allowed to log in to wolfbet. But as far as I know, they don't have any restrictions on VPNs. You can use VPN if you see a country restriction message on the login page. This will solve your problem. But if it shows that your account has been blocked, you need to contact support.
BTW I am not recommending you use a VPN to get access to any gambling site. You can do it at your own risk.  Grin
