As far as attempting to track
BTC transactions to figure out the sales, I say it's not the best idea, it's technically hard to do, and even if you manage to do it it won't give you any good estimates since many people might have paid using Wire transfer or another crypto currency, remember the coupon-method I used in an attempt to determine how many S15s were sold ? this will be way less accurate IMO.
Anyhow , by looking at the transaction chart, you can see that on the 24th of july nothing major happened, in fact the number of transactions was lower than average
