What can we do about the Craig Wright who is again threatening to sell 821,050 bitcoin next year? This is just ridiculous as he is probably causing the bitcoin price to be weak as he spreads this story.

The more this man talks, the more his reputation level goes down. The more he expresses insistence about his being Satoshi, the more he looks insane. This threat is nothing but a vivid implication of his desperation, both as a Satoshi wanna-be and as a marketer for the helpless BSV. First and foremost, does he have any indubitable proof that he really has this huge amount of Bitcoin?

Let him sell if he wants to sell. He's been doing that if I can remember, so why worry if he's about to sell a bunch of bitcoin?

Don't worry, there is so many buyers waiting to by the dip, it will be bought up!
Correct, there are people who would love to buy those btc that will be sold by CW. He's BSV doesn't get the attention anymore so he's creating a buzz to get the attention of the crowd. Don't be scared by his words.

But he is lying. How can he have that many bitcoin? I'm just worried people believe it and the price stays down. I have bought bitcoin because it is digital gold so I don't want the price going down.

That's it, let him sell if he really has it. All of us doesn't want to see bitcoin's price go down but considering on how normal it is if we see it go down, it will happen eventually.

Don't think that much about him, he's just telling a fairytale and he wants people to check out his BSV. Do you really believe that it's possible to him to cash out that big money at instant?

a) I don't think you _really_ know that Wink

b) Mine them, buy them .... it isn't that complicated.

Someone selling a bunch of coins should be the last of your worries.

Segwit and 1MB blocks should be your concern .... and Craig Wright isn't responsible for either of those.

Why are you too troubled about what CSW said? My hunch is that Craig Wright do not have the possession of this much amount of Bitcoin. Well, before threatening he should have shown that the amount he mentioned is in his possession. Otherwise, his threat is nothing but childish, a behavior that perfectly fits a cry-baby like him. That alone should pacify you already. And if he really does have the amount, it is impossible for CSW to let go of all of it. He knows he'll be a loser in front of the world if he does that.

He is just a talkative, he talks without action and before his very own eyes, BitcoinSatoshiVision BSV keeps sending investors to hell, forcing them to sell for bitcoin. He can't make the bitcoin market week, only his gullible fans take him serious.

don't worry, price has been having trouble rising and breaking the $13k resistance for nearly a month now, it is nothing new. what CW is doing is what a parasitic opportunist does. he sees an opening and strikes. he doesn't have nearly that much bitcoin. he just seeks that attention and at the same time tries pumping his own shitcoin.

Yes it will dump and big whales will buy more, Craig will also buy for sure that’s why he did that. A statement from a well know person can affect the market’s emotion but it can’t hurt that much. If you want cheaper price of bitcoin then you must wait for the result of this statement, this is an obvious move Craig he’s totally insane.

That's a great news actually! Once Craig sells off all his bitcoins, he won't have the power to scare the nube bitcoiners with his dumping threatening. However, I highly doubt that he has the access to these bitcoins at all!! It is most likely a blank roar from an impostor to scare away newbie people from bitcoin.

He’s a well know guy, and a smart one too he can own bitcoin if he wants to. Maybe he bought a lot of bitcoin when its cheap and he can sell that one anytime he wants. Bitcoin is decentralized, anyone can own big amount of that what we don’t know many whales are selling their bitcoin for short term trading, its their job and they want that so let it be. We will still survive the future, don’t worry about Craig its nonsense.

If you think that he is lying about the amount of coins he holds then why worrying about it, people who invest money in bitcoin does not get fooled by speculation and hence the price cannot be dragged down because someone said so in twitter that they will be selling their coins. If there is a legit reason to worry then people might stay away until all the coins are dumped in the market and then people will start investing in them.

Do you think Craig really is Satoshi then?  Huh  Otherwise how could he have those bitcoins to sell?   Huh
You really could mine millions of coins if you started mining during the initial stages and you really do not necessarily be Satoshi to have those kind of coins  Tongue.

It was suspected he was one of a three man group that together was Satoshi.
Never Proven, however.

There is supposed to be some trust setup by Dave Kleiman, the tech guru in group satoshi.
That trust supposedly gives CW access to the majority of Satoshi Bitcoins in 2020.
Until 2020 , he does not have access to the coins.

We'll get confirmation in 2020 , if he starts selling from Satoshi bitcoin address.
It would be the 1st  time , he showed any actual proof he was part of Team Satoshi.  Tongue

I guess it gives us enough time to save some fiat to buy these coins at a dirt cheap price then. ^joke^ Even if Craig Wright had access to those coins and he dumped those coins, it would not have a lasting affect on the price. The mere fact that someone has access to those coins, would send the price in a downward spiral and you will be able to buy lots of coins at a very low price.

People also know all those coins will eventually be sold and then things will return to normal, so they will wait for the dump to buy it. We saw this with a Sell Wall a few years ago and it only lasted for a few days.  Grin

Truth be told, Craig Wright is a snake oil salesman and he does not have access to Satoshi's millions!

Nope, you are wrong, there aren't that many buyers. However,I'm 100% sure that Faketoshi doesn't have 820,000 bitcoins. He probably has 800,000 BSV of whatever forked altcoins they had(I don't even remember the names of all the BCH forked shitcoins). There's nothing wrong to sell them and dump their price. He is a hypocrite liar. At this point, you shouldn't listen to him. Trying to scare investors? he's been doing that ever since but what happened though? nothing. Bitcoin is staying strong still and is showing signs that it will still grow in the future. Let's say he has a quarter of that Bitcoin, even it he sold those, it would affect the price but it will bounce back. At this point, Bitcoin is too powerful to stop.

Forging evidences then being busted and never showing evidences are two totally different stories.
Whoever can't distinguish this and keep saying CSW only not showing evidences is either dim wit or trying to play dumb, period.

What can we do about the scammer Craig Wright who is again threatening to sell 821,050 bitcoin next year? This is just ridiculous as he is probably causing the bitcoin price to be weak as he spreads his lies.
https://ibb.co/3zSB2rw

Not sure how to post the image.

I have read many stories about this man and I don't think he has such amount of bitcoin.  About two weeks ago or three he said "I will sell 1,000,000 BTC in three different exchange" and now the figure has started changing. and this is the sign that the claim he is making that he is "Satoshi" is false and the consistently not tell the truth is a sign that he is among the people trying to create fud to buying cheap. Bitcoin will grow even if he desired to sell 3,000,000 as we have many that are ready to buy the dip and kick him out of the whales he claims to be. Good luck to all the enthusiast that keep faith with bitcoin !

I have 2 million of Bitcoins and I will dump them on January 1 2020, just wait and you will see Cheesy

Anyone can say whatever he wants, but to prove that something is true or false we have very simple way in cryptocurrency. In order to sell some coin/s you need to have private keys, and if you have private keys you can sign a massage and all crypto community can verify such message.

CW or these days popular Faketoshi can not prove anything, he is just trying to get some free promotion. But with time he is only digging deeper in his mud, and there is less and less people who will try to pull him out.

The real puzzle is why people continue to pay attention to his lies Huh

That's a great news actually! Once Craig sells off all his bitcoins, he won't have the power to scare the nube bitcoiners with his dumping threatening.
Do you think Craig really is Satoshi then?  Huh  Otherwise how could he have those bitcoins to sell?   Huh

Tongue

This is incredibly interesting even if it's half-true. But I agree with the posters above saying that the effect from selling 1 million BTC can last a couple of weeks or even just several days.

Considering that today's daily trading volume is almost equal to 2 million BTC (1,808,758 BTC), and taking into account that many people are waiting to buy at the low, it would be interesting to see some opinions on how far down can the price go in the case of such a sell and how many days the recovery can take?

He is a hypocrite liar. At this point, you shouldn't listen to him. Trying to scare investors? he's been doing that ever since but what happened though? nothing. Bitcoin is staying strong still and is showing signs that it will still grow in the future. Let's say he has a quarter of that Bitcoin, even it he sold those, it would affect the price but it will bounce back. At this point, Bitcoin is too powerful to stop.

But what if what he is saying is true though? After all if he really has that kind of amount then he has a control over it and can do whatever he wants.

We have these options
1. He sells it , bitcoin drops down so low then panic sell. Poof! Bitcoin gone.

2. He sells it, bitcoin down, people tales advantage of the cheap price then bitcoin comes back to normal.

3. He says he sells it but never sell anything just trolling people so they can panic sell and we all still getting an advantage with it.

I know he knows what he's doing so we should too.

It sounds funny when he claims to be satoshi, when the creator of bitcoin wants to destroy what he created for the sake of his new garbage coin. Haha this really doesn't make sense, no one wants to destroy what is hard-earned, and this also proves that he is fakesatoshi. do you believe this news https://www.ccn.com/craig-wright-bitcoin-satoshi-manifesto/ ? For let's say he really does have such amount currently on hand, then let him sell it if he decided to. He owned it and nobody else. So be it.

Surely a massive price decrease will follow that no one can ever imagine after all the progress bitcoin made and achieved every year. As usual, people just have to bear the effect for that even it will last for years. Then after some recovery, should we ever think again that a certain individual can make that scenario again? Bitcoin community shouldn't be controlled by anybody.

And more importantly, why are you worried too much? Just go with the flow, ride the current trend and move forward.

Do you really think that CW is really that stupid to dump all his Bitcoin? Nah, as much as we hate this guy, he is intelligent enough to know that he would rather hold on his precious Bitcoins because after all he is supposedly Satoshi right?

He is just playing mind games here, heck we even don't know if he has that huge amount of Bitcoin stash somewhere else. But in any case, if he really decided to liquidate everything so be it, nothing can stop him but it will be a huge lost for him and a lots of people will be happy to buy cheap Bitcoin, so win-win for us.

It will take effect indeed but only in a short period of time, bitcoin already gained a lots of supporters and if ever CW will do this it can dropped the value but eventually it will be lifted up again just the same with those previous dumped that happened, the cycle will continue and more and more investors will comes in and take this industry as another venue for investment.

Don't worry, there is so many buyers waiting to by the dip, it will be bought up!

Exactly, and his little "threat" to the community will end, the sooner the better. Get lost Wright, burn it all in your altcoin, what could possibly go wrong? Ask your colleague Jihan Wu...

First of all I don't believe that he has so many Bitcoins, but
if he does, he would be very stupid to sell this amount of Bitcoin in those price... It would be ireversable to get them back in the future and he will lose the power of scaring the community.

Let him sell if he wants to sell. He's been doing that if I can remember, so why worry if he's about to sell a bunch of bitcoin?

But he is lying. How can he have that many bitcoin? I'm just worried people believe it and the price stays down. I have bought bitcoin because it is digital gold so I don't want the price going down.

Believe in the fundamentals of bitcoin. He can FUD all he wants, but the price will be strong. If he sells, then there is more opportunity for us to have bitcoin at a lower price. The price will recover from it.

He has 821,050 BTC? Wow! What else does he want, he doesn't need to be satoshi. What the fuck is with this guy he should just be spending it on hookers. There is so much things to do in life and I can think millions of things to do than claiming satoshi if I have that much. I'm sure there are tons of institutional investors going to get that 821,050 from him. He can just put a sell wall now.

Wish we could have some sort of automated "Price Dump Protection system" to stop whales from holding the rest of us to ransom. This is why I  kind of like the idea of premine and setting aside some amount cryptocurrency for future development of a crypto project.
Maybe about 20% (which hopefully grows to millions in the future) of the coin could be set aside for dump protection. Once a whale tries to crash the price, the system automatically buys up most of the whales coins and reduce the effect of the dump to the barest minimum. If some bullish whales later buy some million pf dollars worth of that coins, the automated system directly sell about 20% of its holding to the whales and this is repeated to keep the market healthy.

This sounds more like fiat to me than decentralized crypto. That is what governments are doing. If the value of fiat is going down, they take out their reserve gold and pump up their fiat. I do not think we want that in crypto. As much as I do not like whales dumping on us, I do not like a centralized body controlling the price as well.

No, this is what some foolish governments do to their fiat, its called (dirty) floating bands, and it doesn't work. You shouldn't fear the market, this is Bitcoin not some little altcoin, it cannot be crashed anymore, no matter how much and how hard you dump, others will flock to buy it at those cheap prices even faster, because bitcoin is that valuable to people (that even countries are putting their reserves into).

An Austrian economist would tell you: The best thing to do (regarding intervening), is do nothing. Let them do whatever they please. Its their lose and our gain. Don't fear the free market embrace it.

Oh, and such thing as "whale alerts" do exist, i have seen it in Telegram and some other social media (Twitter?). There are bots constantly monitoring the blockchain to give out those alerts.

As far as Bitcoin is concerned, whatever people are willing to give or not for it, none of its concern. The code has nothing to do with what arbitrary price the  market assigns bitcoin. This is remarkable, and even more reason to make it valuable.

In fact, your suggestion would subtract value. Why would Bitcoin be tied to whatever non bitcoin thing there is? This is outside Bitcoin realm. Also think, just what is much, what is little? In the beginning 10k BTC bought two pizzas, that would be considered a whale movement today, you expect the code to distinguish between now and then, exactly how?

What can we do about the Craig Wright who is again threatening to sell 821,050 bitcoin next year? This is just ridiculous as he is probably causing the bitcoin price to be weak as he spreads this story.
https://ibb.co/3zSB2rw

Not sure how to post the image.

He has have the rights to sell it all with no words coming out of his mouth , what's the purpose of discussing his sentiments to other people , he just making people chaos , bitcoin will survive even missing one person since more  interested people coming up here .

It's just another stunt coming from him since the last the attention he got from his last publicity stunt is diminishing. he can threat all he wan't
but the image he has in the bitcoin community will not change he will always be a satoshi wannabe. also there's nothing we can do if he want to sell all his bitcoin.

Don't worry, there is so many buyers waiting to by the dip, it will be bought up!

Grin

i also seriously doubt if he has that much of either BSV or BCH. not only because it still costs a lot of money to have that much amount of these altcoins but also because these coins are clearly without a good long term future and the creators of them know it better than any of us. mainly they made these coins to make money from them not to have the coins!
in fact i believe that they use these coins to pump then take the profit and invest it back in bitcoin...

That would be a good thing if he does. If someone is really thinking, releasing big amount of Bitcoins right now is quite a good idea.

Now that mining and other means to get Bitcoin are having a hard time to acquire Bitcoin. I think it will be better if it will be owned by many and can freely circulate on the market. If one person has the control then it is a disadvantage I think. I am one of the people who are excited to buy if this true.

That's it, let him sell if he really has it.
So maybe he has it?   Huh
I'm confused now. We know is a scammer and is not satoshi, so how can he have that many bitcoin?
Don't be confused, it isn't really a big deal if he has it or not. He can sell at his own will because if he really has it, then who are we to stop him. I'm not knowledgeable about his bitcoin career but maybe he's one of the miners and/or bought during the early days.

Believe in the fundamentals of bitcoin. He can FUD all he wants, but the price will be strong. If he sells, then there is more opportunity for us to have bitcoin at a lower price. The price will recover from it.
Right, there are investors who are waiting to buy at the dip so if it's real that he's about to dump massive bitcoin then expect that it will rise afterwards.

I think, you are not alone in this. Many people are always there, waiting for buying cheap BTC. For this reason Bitcoin starts rising after dropping to a certain level instead of going more down and to zero eventually. That's why calling Bitcoin a ponzi scheme is wrong. No ponzi scheme can survive after dropping 80% in price of the shares, but Bitcoin has survived many of similar drops.

So, Craig Wright can't scare people, even he has(or will have access to) that amount he claims, because it's already too late for killing Bitcoin with dumping 1 million BTC on the market. Maybe 10 million BTC would do the job, but who can have that much?

You should know one thing .
There is no way that he is holding that much bitcoins.
The government actually asked him, he failed to be able to present it in court .
Therefore there is no way he can influence the market that much.
Don't be scared , it's just bluff and am pretty sure that people who follow this market through does know that there is nothing that be could actually do.
No one will knowing sell their coins when they are in a loss.

Maybe he is trying to create FUD to lower Bitcoin prices, and he can own more Bitcoin at the lowest price. I think it's a scenario that he wants to build us. I believe it's just a lie. Everyone is calm because many whales own more Bitcoin than he does.

Of course he is not holding so much Bitcoins and he can't influence market or anything else the way he claims he could. Just empty stories of another so called Bitcoin ecpert and people should not fall for that. We see too much such attempts and the sad thing is that there are always some who would fall for that and people like that will reach their goal.

Frankly speaking nobody can hold such amount of BITCOIN and even though the individual hold such and really want to sell out in the name of distorting the community, there are still demands for Bitcoin from the government and large investors, so, he will end up achieving nothing at the end and blame his action. In Bitcoin we trust our freedom and transparency, its too late for anybody to think that he or she can harm BITCOIN.

That's right more talk more mistakes and nobody believes that he is the real satoshi nakamoto because of their prostration become a real satoshi amd he destroy their self reputation.

Right, not only that he looks insane but he looks very desperate for attention and to be recognized Satoshi. This threat is I think just to say he is really Satoshi because he has this amount of btc and ofcourse for people to get scared and make the price of bitcoin go down even more. It's just sad for Craig Wright because bitcoin holders already that he is a liar so I don't mind it so much.

Nobody can trust for the liar like craig wright, I think we need to ignore all he want to tell against bitcoin.

Talk is cheap, show us the money

I assume that in this case he should first prove that he actually owns so many bitcoins and only then turn to threats of selling them all. Until then, whatever he spits out should be taken with an 800-pound bag of salt as all his words have been just empty threats so far. The longer he reiterates his hogwash, the less weight what he says will have. But personally, I think he is already well past the point where he can still be taken seriously. Long story short, nothing to discuss here

Nobody can trust for the liar like craig wright, I think we need to ignore all he want to tell against bitcoin

What we are dealing with here is an attention whore and drama queen

Trust me, he will not sell the Bitcoins.  This statement is only to create the panic among the Bitcoin community so that they may sell at the current prices. For sure he will buy the Bitcoin cheap  and also remember that next year is halving year so the bitcoin prices will not go down from here onwards.

Another statement that may shake some negatrons. Lol. We can just ignore him, talking again nonsense to make a fud. Those who believe him will definitely follow his steps and will feel fear. But remember that he is an attention seeker, claiming he is Satoshi and leaving useless statements. If he owns those huge amount of bitcoin or not, it is not important anymore. The halving event next year will occur. Nothing to worry about.

People in crypto these days are not stupid to believe in even single word from that men and just like the poster above said every time he speaks the reputation god down so Be not afraid of this attacks because Craig has no power to make the market shake.and if I were you?better not share these links so the Fud about this persons words will stop and won’t circulate in our community

He just did what he is not suppose to in the industry but losser will always have supporter as regard his claimed over the creator of bitcoin,

He has nonproof to show and just a signature on any block can truly proof he is real satoshi but he has not be able to do all these, so am not confuse about his altitude.
