In which innings Pakistan had an advantage, they failed miserably in both innings and they were trying to catch up with Bangladesh and ended up failing big time.

Can you clarify which match you are talking about since you are claiming that they played well, are you even talking about their Bangladesh tour. Last 3 Test matches against Pakistan, Bangladesh won, so it is not just a careless performance that led to their defeat, it is constant good performance by Bangladesh.

Everyone is criticising shaheen afridi but no one notice that between 2020-26 he has bowled over 1600 overs It is not just the highest in Pakistani team but I think it is the highest workload in the world I think our system is not managing his workload or giving him a proper break You can see the result after his 2022 injury his speed dropped  from 145 to 135 or 130 If we give him two months off to train in England I think he will come back bowling fast and swinging the ball again

1600 overs in a span of 6 years is nothing out of the ordinary. It comes to less than 300 overs in a year. At international level, this much is normal. During the 2025–26 Ashes series, Mitchell Starc bowled a total of 153.1 overs. This is just in one format, and one series. Compared to this 300 is not that extraordinary. What makes his figures stand out is the fact that other bowlers (esp. Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf) bowled too less overs, since they were not selected for all the matches. And it is strange that not even a single spinner made it to the top-3 list. And Pakistan is the country which in the past produced legendary spinners such as Saqlain Mushtaq.

Problem is that PCB and even players want to feature in every useless bilateral, doesn't matter if it's against b team or lower rank teams. In contrast top rated bowlers only prioritise tests/ ICC tournaments and skip white ball bilaterals voluntary and this never happens under PCB.

In the last few years, the PCB has been running without any solid strategy or vision. They are doing things that are not helping them or their players, even though they have enough resources but are still not making the right decisions.
This is hurting them. They need to have a strong domestic setup with good chances for players in all formats. ICC events are not coming quickly, but they can work out on their domestic.
This will also increase their income and also be beneficial for players, but who cares? Political influence and personal ego always have problems here with no professional approach from any stakeholder.
