India women's performance was excellent which led to a huge win with Australia women's team by 8 wickets today. Australia women's team had a poor performance from day one due to which they could not collect good runs and lost to India women's team till the last minute. India Women's team had a good run in the first innings due to which Australia Women's team could not meet that target and eventually they lost the Test match. However, the performance of the India women's team was very good and their batting and bowling performance won the Test match. India were not under too much pressure on the fourth day and they easily met the target set by Australia Women and won the Test match.

In last few years we are having good improvement in Indian performance in all formats with men and women both are on good improvement and giving their best which is impressive in last few days we have two backs to back test win for them at home which is surely starting of a new era in Indian women cricket and WIPL is already doing good job for the improvement of finances and other which are also important for them hopefully now things will be on positive for them in long run, and we will be able to watch these Indian women to challenge in all formats for the big Australian and English women.

Even still this is just a start but with solid strategy and consistency things can go good and Indians monopoly can increase their hold on these gentlemen's game for many years in the future.

As I said in the last post that the Indian women's team is more likely to go into this test match than the Australian women's team but the result has happened. In the second innings, the Indian women's team secured victory against the Australian women's team by keeping 8 wickets in hand. Australia Women showed some hope in the second innings but were bowled out for just 261 runs, setting an easy target for Indian Women. India Women's team may now be gearing up for the ODI series against Australia Women's after pulling off a resounding win against Australia in the only Test match. 
Congratulations to India Women's team for beating Australia Women's team by a huge margin in the only Test match.

Yes, I also said that this match was heading for the victory of Indian team. But I did not expect it to end today. I expected Australia would push it for a draw by batting for longer but they couldn't and got all out at 261 just setting the target of 75. It took the Indian team 18.4 overs to chase this. They finished it in session 2 of Day 4.

What the Indian team has done is amazing. No one could say they expected India to win against Australia but they did it in a dominating fashion. Australia is a very good test playing nation. Sneh Rana was the Man of the match for this match deservingly. She took 7 wickets in total. They got 3 match ODI series coming up starting from 28th December and I think this would be going the way of India as well.

Boxing day test match will kick off on 26 Dec and Pakistan bowlers are continuously getting injured. Latest is Noman Ali, who is ruled out of entire test series because of appendicitis and is replaced by Nawaz. There is not much chance of Pakistan winning second test because not there bowlers nor batsmen are in form. The best Pakistan can do in this test series is to avoid a whitewash. This is what happen to you if you dont pay respect to test cricket.    

I don't see any chance of the Pakistan team winning or drawing this match. The Australian team is going to dominate this match like they did in the first match. Before the first match, I thought they only lacked in the bowling side, but they are lacking in every side now it seems. Their batting isn’t good, their fielding isn’t good either. I have lost counts of how many catches they have missed and how many runs they gave for free.

As for the India vs South Africa match, I think it will be a 50-50. The match is in South Africa and South Africa are quite good there. India’s bowling side is quite good, they need to focus on their batting more. South Africa got the advantage in their home soil which puts them in the advantage. This match will be more interesting than the Australia vs Pakistan one.

I don't think that the Pakistan team will win the coming match because of the low performance of the Pakistan team against Australia in the first match. The Pak bowlers are getting down one by one and they are replaced by other players. The test match needs good and fit players because the match goes for two or three days so how does an unfit player show a good performance? After the first match, the Pakistan team failed in all aspects like in fielding bowling, and as well as in bating. I don't know how they played like an emotional guy who did not care about the team but only focused on his performance. The fielders are also not good they are missing catches, in the test matches the only way to end the inning is to bowl all the players so when they miss the catches they will win the match.

India women's team won against Australia in the first and last test match. In this tour they will play a Test and 3-match ODI series and a 3-match T20I series. In the test match Australia lost all wickets for 219 runs in the first innings in contrast to India Women's innings of 406 runs. Which is a much bigger score than Australia. Even in the 2nd innings, Australia could not improve, so India women's team got a great win against Australia. Smriti Mandhana played consistently in both the innings for India Women's team. Jemimah Rodrigues scored 73 and Richa Ghosh also got a 52 runs in the first innings. ‍

So effectively they are playing with 10 players against India. In the first inning Australia made 487 runs. But  Pakistan made only 271 runs. After that Australia Played the second inning and were making good runs but they stopped at 233 runs. And the target was 450 runs. And Pakistan made only 89 runs which was really disappointed. Australia won with a great margin win by 360 runs. Again I don't think so that Pakistan has ability to win. Yeah. It's crazy that a team like India couldn't win a test series in South Africa so far, but I feel that won't change this time around either. South Africa will probably win or draw the series in my opinion.

Exactly they can give surprise but like @Themepen brief Pakistan is not looking much stronger as compare to Australian team. If we go through the first match so we can make a conclusion that Australia can win this match. But there is possibility that Pakistan can give surprise but not everyone sure about that we can just assume that Pakistan will perform good in tomorrow match.
There is possibility of Australia will take first in tomorrow match and Pakistan will out the Australian team under 300 runs. And Pakistan give 150+ runs lead. And After that Australia give only 80 runs target and then Pakistan will easily chase the target.

In the Test match between Pakistan and Australia I will favor Pakistan team. As I am a true supporter of Pakistan team I will always support Pakistan no matter which team they are playing against.
But recently they have been having a bad time as they have not played well in various major events especially in the Asia Cup and the recently concluded ODI World Cup.
Hope all Pakistan players come back in form and give their best performance to win matches against different teams.

What sucks more is that both teams need to play T20 matches more. They are playing ODI and test cricket which doesn't fit as the  2024 T20 World Cup starts from June. There respective boards should have thought more bilateral or trilateral series of T20 format than others. Ishan Kishan is not playing in the test series, he has been replaced by Bharat. The reason he gave was that he is suffering from mental fatigue which I felt is a weird excuse by the youngster.

Test cricket may be a long game but Test matches between India and South Africa are usually very interesting. South Africa will definitely want to win the first Test match to at least advance in the Test series. Since India traveled to South Africa to play the full series, I thought South Africa had a chance to do well in the T20I and ODI series, but South Africa did not do well in the T20I and ODI series. I don't see South Africa doing much good against India in the Test series but still hope this match will be an interesting match.

I must say, Australia start up wasn't good enough, probably scored 7-2 in 1st inning and had done around same score in both innings, 219 & 261 respectively Where only Tahlia McGrath did great performance 50s & 73s run personally and Ashleigh Gardner got 5wickets in total. Then when it comes to india woman, they totally changed the game while they started batting as response and recorded 406 as score. I think each player Played well. Specially Smriti Mandhana 74s & *38s in both match. She was deserving player of the match but Sneh Rana is announced for that as she able to took 7 wickets in total.

I cant remember when Pakistan last time won a test match in Australia. Pakistan has good record against Australia at UAE but terrible in grounds of Australia. Second test is must win for Pakistan since they have lost the first test match. Mir Hamza or Hassan Ali will replace Khurram Shahzad. In absence of key bowlers the responsibility lies on shoulders on Pakistani batsmen they need to perform well in both innings. If Pakistani batting lineup failed then there wont be anyone in bowling department to rescue them.

First of all, Bavuma is better player in test cricket while playing in SA condition and he actually got better avg than KL, Rohit in test at SA and FYI team India never won test series in SA so clearly they are not favorites but they have better edge to be cause SA middle order is weaker compared to team India.

There won't be any assistance for spin at Centurion as far as stats analyst opinion, so India likely to go with 4 pacers and Jaddu or Ashwin.

India will definitely miss Shami in this match, who is second-highest wicket taker for team India against SA.

op I agree with you Pakistan batted really badly in the first test match. Australia won the first test very convincingly. So Pakistan team should play very carefully in the second test. Pakistan's batting was a failure in the first test so they need to increase their runs in the second test so that they don't lose wickets too quickly. The opening pair should build a long partnership and give the opposition a big run lead. Of course, Pakistan team's bowling line is very good and they need to do better in the second test if they want to win.

I am very excited to watch this match. In the first Test match of the series, we saw very poor  batting from Pakistan batsmen. Also, the performance of the bowlers was not good in this match. Pakistan scored 271 runs in the first innings and  only 89 runs in the second innings. But expect the Pakistani batsmen to bat responsibly in the second and final match, they should  definitely learn from their previous mistakes.
 
Pakistan squad has a lot of talented players. Even then  the team is not doing  well. We haven't seen a better performance from Pakistan in the World Cup either. We will not see a better performance from Pakistan in this series against Australia as well. Pakistan team is very badly trucked..
