So effectively they are playing with 10 players against India. Regarding, Pak vs Aussies, I don't have much hope from Pak, there are performing poorly whether it be batting, bowling, fielding or it be a captainship.

Do you really think this will happen? I don't think so the Pakistan has ability to take revenge from Australian team. Didn't you see what Australia done with Pakistan in first test match. In the first inning Australia made 487 runs. But  Pakistan made only 271 runs. After that Australia Played the second inning and were making good runs but they stopped at 233 runs. And the target was 450 runs. And Pakistan made only 89 runs which was really disappointed. Australia won with a great margin win by 360 runs. Again I don't think so that Pakistan has ability to win. By the way let's see.

Do you really think this will happen? I don't think so the Pakistan has ability to take revenge from Australian team. Didn't you see what Australia done with Pakistan in first test match. Yes, Pakistan gives very poor performance in 1st test match against Australia. Pakistan lost this match very badly 360 runs a huge defeat in test match. I think Pakistan will make a good comeback by defeating Australia and level the series by winning second test match but problem is that Pakistan fast bowlers didn't perform well. Shaheen Shah Afridi only picked 1 wicket in 1st test match and now team management think they will take rest in next match. This is huge setbacks for Pakistan if Shaheen is not plying yesterday against Australia. Pakistan will look to add Hassan Ali or Mir Hamaza to playing eleven  in second test match.

Yeah. It's crazy that a team like India couldn't win a test series in South Africa so far, but I feel that won't change this time around either. South Africa will probably win or draw the series in my opinion.

Exactly they can give surprise but like @Themepen brief Pakistan is not looking much stronger as compare to Australian team. If we go through the first match so we can make a conclusion that Australia can win this match. But there is possibility that Pakistan can give surprise but not everyone sure about that we can just assume that Pakistan will perform good in tomorrow match.
There is possibility of Australia will take first in tomorrow match and Pakistan will out the Australian team under 300 runs. And Pakistan give 150+ runs lead. And After that Australia give only 80 runs target and then Pakistan will easily chase the target.

In the Test match between Pakistan and Australia I will favor Pakistan team. As I am a true supporter of Pakistan team I will always support Pakistan no matter which team they are playing against.
But recently they have been having a bad time as they have not played well in various major events especially in the Asia Cup and the recently concluded ODI World Cup.
Hope all Pakistan players come back in form and give their best performance to win matches against different teams.

Truly sucks that all of these teams need to play during the Christmas - New Year week which is the biggest festive week of the year.

What sucks more is that both teams need to play T20 matches more. They are playing ODI and test cricket which doesn't fit as the  2024 T20 World Cup starts from June. There respective boards should have thought more bilateral or trilateral series of T20 format than others. Ishan Kishan is not playing in the test series, he has been replaced by Bharat. The reason he gave was that he is suffering from mental fatigue which I felt is a weird excuse by the youngster.

The visiting team India is going to take the field in the first test match against South Africa tomorrow. After a good ODI and T20 series, India's full focus is now on the Test series. Test cricket may be a long game but Test matches between India and South Africa are usually very interesting. South Africa will definitely want to win the first Test match to at least advance in the Test series. Since India traveled to South Africa to play the full series, I thought South Africa had a chance to do well in the T20I and ODI series, but South Africa did not do well in the T20I and ODI series. I don't see South Africa doing much good against India in the Test series but still hope this match will be an interesting match.

The test between India Women vs Australia Women took around 4 days to be done. I must say, Australia start up wasn't good enough, probably scored 7-2 in 1st inning and had done around same score in both innings, 219 & 261 respectively Where only Tahlia McGrath did great performance 50s & 73s run personally and Ashleigh Gardner got 5wickets in total. Then when it comes to india woman, they totally changed the game while they started batting as response and recorded 406 as score. I think each player Played well. Specially Smriti Mandhana 74s & *38s in both match. She was deserving player of the match but Sneh Rana is announced for that as she able to took 7 wickets in total.

I cant remember when Pakistan last time won a test match in Australia. Pakistan has good record against Australia at UAE but terrible in grounds of Australia. Second test is must win for Pakistan since they have lost the first test match. Mir Hamza or Hassan Ali will replace Khurram Shahzad. In absence of key bowlers the responsibility lies on shoulders on Pakistani batsmen they need to perform well in both innings. If Pakistani batting lineup failed then there wont be anyone in bowling department to rescue them.

First of all, Bavuma is better player in test cricket while playing in SA condition and he actually got better avg than KL, Rohit in test at SA and FYI team India never won test series in SA so clearly they are not favorites but they have better edge to be cause SA middle order is weaker compared to team India.

There won't be any assistance for spin at Centurion as far as stats analyst opinion, so India likely to go with 4 pacers and Jaddu or Ashwin.

India will definitely miss Shami in this match, who is second-highest wicket taker for team India against SA.

op I agree with you Pakistan batted really badly in the first test match. Australia won the first test very convincingly. So Pakistan team should play very carefully in the second test. Pakistan's batting was a failure in the first test so they need to increase their runs in the second test so that they don't lose wickets too quickly. The opening pair should build a long partnership and give the opposition a big run lead. Of course, Pakistan team's bowling line is very good and they need to do better in the second test if they want to win.

I am very excited to watch this match. In the first Test match of the series, we saw very poor  batting from Pakistan batsmen. Also, the performance of the bowlers was not good in this match. Pakistan scored 271 runs in the first innings and  only 89 runs in the second innings. But expect the Pakistani batsmen to bat responsibly in the second and final match, they should  definitely learn from their previous mistakes.
 
Pakistan squad has a lot of talented players. Even then  the team is not doing  well. We haven't seen a better performance from Pakistan in the World Cup either. We will not see a better performance from Pakistan in this series against Australia as well. Pakistan team is very badly trucked..

noormcs5 I absolutely agree that Pakistan has to do far better than what they did in the last match. Because they will have no chance otherwise. And Australia is of course going to try to make another dominating display if given the chance. So Pakistan will have to play extra carefully and also not give any chances to Australia. It is definitely going to be hard for Pakistan. But they have to at least try. Their pride was already hurt by the last match. They have to plan well and give their 100% to actually have a go at the revenge. Will they be able to get something out of this match? I don't know to be honest. But the way Australia is playing right now, I wouldn't be surprised if another score like the last match is produced, to be honest.

This is not the first time Pakistan team is having a tough time at Australia. They always had hard time while playing at Australian Soil. Boxing test will start in 4 hours from now and things are not looking good for Pakistan. Your point is correct that there is hue influence of politics in PCB that's why they are suffering heavily at the moment. Players like Imam and Shan Masood are playing just because they have solid backing of people who have influence in PCB. Shan Masood who is captain of Pak test team was not even part of test squad before this series. He was brought in and made captain straight away.

It seriously sucks when politics gets involved way too deeply with sports like in Pakistan's case currently. Babar wasn't the best captain for sure, but he was doing a decent job and they were slowly and steadily improving as a team.

However, the recent changes made them worse. Another example is Afghanistan effectively banning Mujeeb, Naveen and Farooqi for internal reasons.
